- "There'll Always Be an England" is an English patriotic song, written and distributed in the summer of 1939, which became highly popular following the outbreak of the Second World War. It was composed and written by Ross Parker and Hughie Charles.] It was recorded in 1939 by Billy Cotton and his Band, whose recording is mentioned on the original 1939 sheet music, and supplied him with a finale for his show for years. A popular version was later recorded by Vera Lynn in 1962.

The lads started fighting each other, nothing new there. the French lads said the English are nuts. So the next night, the French were told not to give red wine to the lads, by the commanding officer. The French passed the red wine under the table for the lads. Cheers. Lads started fighting again and ended up in the drunk tank, while the French lads took the mick. My brother said he loved it.

My mother and father got married just before the start of WW2. The organist at the church had already joined up. My father had a dance band in London and a friend of his was a music publisher, he offered to play the organ for him. Unbeknownst to my father he was plugging this song at the time and my poor mother walked down the aisle to this!!! She was teased about it for the rest of her life!!

We're not having enough of them to replace the native population, couple that with endless mass migration, within a few decades England will cease to exist as we know it. And with pride, do I think back to recall how we were at Junior School called upon to sing it as best we could. He was sentenced to death by Diocletian for failing to renounce his faith to Christianity, and that is why he was made a Saint. He is meant to represent the triumph of Chritianity over Paganism, which is what the dragon is meant to represent in the story. So no he wasn't english but I have never met anyone who claims he was for example St Patrick wasnt Irish he was welsh. So your point.
