You know what I could do with $6000??? I could buy all the legacy lightsabers including the discontinued ones
Hahaha…. That’s a great point!
Maybe a few neopixels too
but the question is: do you want that many sabers?
i do... it's an issue
Much better than the garbage hotel
@@aquiestapedro their lightsabers are garbage idk why anyone wants a Disney saber tbh
I'd love to go on that experience but the price is just too steep. A 1 week trip to Hawaii with flight, hotel, food, car, and outings cost me 6400. If they manage to make it affordable sure until then I'd rather plan different vacation. Thanks for your honest opinions and I'm glad you and your son had a good time.
Thank you so much bud for the well wishes. I definitely had to go just to investigate and report back. I think everybody wishes they would drop their prices, but I think the point is because Disney here is trying to cater to the rich.
This guy is so mesmerized by a tv behind a window lol
You know, I'm among the group of fans that were just really disappointed with the wasted potential and lack of a unified story that plagued the ST. While I personally don't think I'd ever go with that price tag, even if I went with a group, I'm glad for your more fair opinion of this experience, especially as a paying guest. I really made sure when I went to GE with my little cousin all those months ago, that he felt that same childlike wonder I had when I first saw SW. Only, he had it better as his imagination was amplified by GE.
That's awesome Alpha.. I love that you really helped your cousin feel the magic of Star Wars.. even considering your opinion of the ST. I totally understand and respect your view on the sequels. I'm treating my son just like your cousin. 😉👍🏻
6000$ for a windowless room with bunkbeds? Yeah, absolutely worth it! 😂
It's NOT a hotel. If you watch video, you see it's two-days of being in a movie. Or like being on "Rise of the Resistance" for two days - but you can get off the ride and live there. As for the room, I was never in it, except to change clothes and sleep. If you are staying in your room at Starcruiser, then you aren't doing it right. You should spend all your time running around on missions. If you'd been, you'd know it's worth it.
@@jlasfI better be getting a blowie and my balls fully drained while I’m there for 6 grand.
We loved it. I didn’t fit in the beds tho lol. I think it should have been 3 days to spread out all the activities also so we can have a full day at Hollywood studios
Absolutely!! If we had one more night I could have finally played some Sebacc.. and maybe attended one of the cosplay contests. : /
@@FindingTheForce yes exactly! Did you win the medallion from any of the games?
P.s. There’s no way you fit in that bunk when you flipped over and actually slept lol
While we enjoyed it and felt that it was worth it, if we were to do it again, we would hope that it would get changed with the original characters. I was 9 when A new Hope was released and while I do some of the new movies, I am an old school Star Wars guy so to be the experience would be much better if I saw Darth Vader, the original stormtroopers, C3PO and R2D2, etc...
Hey Kirk! I totally agree and I thank you for wording your comment so respectfully. if they start a new storyline with Luke and Vader’s, I would be the first one in line! 🙌🏻
Create a SW "Classic" Starcruiser trip. Part of the backstory of the Halcyon is that Leia and Han had their honeymoon there. Why not use that as the basis of a new storyline? Chewbacca and R2D2 are already wandering around. So, it becomes Han, Leia and Darth Vader. There should be a night excursion to Baatu with a wedding reception/dance at Oga's. And the reveal at the end is Han. I know purists will say it doesn't fit the timeline with Batuu, but it would be fun.
Looks great, but not suprised at all its closing. People arent fools, and they know when they are being fleeced. Absolutely stupid money - especially during the current financial situation and for international visitors. Hopefully theyll reopen something similar and charge realistic prices for families.
Bro I’d love to do this with my dad sometime, but $6,000 on top of flying from Australia to Florida, it’s just not practical for us
Australia!?! That's awesome man... thanks so much for watching!! Here what you're saying, that flight would be brutal. You probably have to stay and have fun at Disney World for a few extra days to make the trip worth it. 👍🏻
Disney has decided to shut it down completely due to bad planning and lack of people with $6000 for a 2 day theme park adventure
Really appreciate your honest videos and reviews. Especially taking videos when you can be fully enjoying with your son. Great work and review. I think it's a great idea to do it as a group to make as cheap as possible. Great idea!
Hey Kalivar! 👋🏻 Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment and for watching. 👍🏻
Just stumbled on your video randomly and so glad I clicked.
It looks like everyone had a good stay on the ship, it’s all about the attitude and if you actually WANT to enjoy the experience.
Subbed to your channel! Love your reviewing style and looking forward to seeing more to help me prepare for my upcoming trip!
Keep up the good work!(:
Hey Mench, I’m so glad you did find my channel. And I I really appreciate the support! And that’s probably my best advice is to try your best not to film a lot of your trip. Rather, try to soak in the experience and feel present.
@@FindingTheForce My partner and I have a kids walkie talkie set and polaroid cameras that we use when visiting theme parks/large entertainment venues just for that very reason! I think it’s much more fun that way.(:
I always enjoy the experience so much more without being tied to my cell and just being present, as you said. (:
Appreciate the honesty! Very cool concept and I'd have liked to experience it, but $6000 is crazy for a day and a half.
It's a shame that the Starcruiser concept wasn't as successful as possible, because I'd love a Star Trek version of this.
If you could stay longer than two days, then I'd definitely consider this. My usual Disney trips are 4 days worth; first night to arrive, two days at the parks, and then I go home.
I know people will call me jerk, but with that much money I can spend it to better in places that have similar experience for 10 days with 6 adults and excellent hotel and service only cost us around 20-30% of that price in that Shitquel Cruiser. What justify the price? The cost of costume? The facility fees? Foods and drinks? Or the cost of the screens that replace the windows? Don't tell me don't pay the actors and other employees. Or did we must tip whenever you dining since it's US? It's one thing it's 7 days but 2 days? I can use that money to invest and open small business...
I'm a massive star wars fan but I couldn't justify spending that much money on a 2 night break. Also it would cost me another 2-3k to travel to the states before it, so your talking it would cost me up and around 10k. Also to put it in perspective we had to get our bathroom refit a couple of months back and it cost us just under 6k, so no, I couldnt justify it. But would i like to do it, hell yeah.(if it drops dons in price) 😂
Bathrooms have to come first! 😆 I hear ya… traveling overseas is a big commitment. But if they have designed an epic experience on Tatooine or Endor… you might have found a way to raise the funds? 😉
over 50 reviewers (all on YT) said only worth it if you are really into Star Wars and plan to dress up and play along.
@@esciteach7997, I just went with a group of myself and 7 adult friends. I would say that the most important thing that makes it fun and worth it is if you are up for playing along. So if you are a board gamer or a role playing gamer, you will probably have a blast! Having even a tiny bit of backstory and costuming, even just bounding-style clothes, does indeed help get you into the experience. You’ll probably get more out of the experience if you are a Star Wars fan, but a couple of the people on our trip were casually acquainted with the films and had an amazing time because the deep immersion and interactions with the skilled actors!
I remember in the end I was with Sam fixing the ship, and we had time things of and everyone was running around and saying 3, 2, 1!! it was amazing
The only way this would remotely be worth it would be if the theming were based on the original trilogy. There are plenty of conventions where people can dress up in character. You could join the 501st and have the roll playing story line experience. There are lightsaber clubs to practice saber fighting... Just seems that Disney did what they do best which is robbing people blind. // Great video quality and I appreciate your thoughts but it only confirmed my feelings about this project.
I think for the Price I’d rather do another Disney Cruise with a StarWars day at Sea.
Mike!.. I heard about those and I totally wanted to do one! But I think I remember hearing that it was only during one month and there are very few opportunities. Thanks for the reminder, maybe I'll try to book one of those in the spring.
Thank god its closing mostly a hotel for the 1 percent i knew from the get go it was going to fail.
The Star Trek shirt is the ultimate troll. Loved it lmao
I’m going to Iceland/Sweden/Denmark with a buddy for 17 DAYS all in for 7k
Yeah...but! Do you get to play with long plastic glowing light toys? I think that's only in Amsterdam.
@@ThisFinalHandle which is in the Netherlands lol
Thanks for the great coverage of this experience
thanks for this! i probably can't go for multiple years even, but thank you for the true opinions.
You bet Ryan. I hope I sounded truthful and sincere. Thank you so much for watching. 🙏🏻
Man Obi-Dad, I don't know what you do for a living, but you must be making serious cheddar. The $1500 you mentioned didn't include airfare or a hotel before you get on the Star Cruiser, so more like $2300 apiece to be fair.
I appreciate you saying you have to have a good attitude to have a good time at least 3 or 4 times.
Even though your very good at that, it seems like a red flag. Also with inflation and the recession were in, it's probably closer to $7500 now. Let me be clear Obi-Dad, your channel is a favorite of mine, we have the same passion for lightsabers and I'm and older dude like you.
I grew up on Star Wars when the OT came out. My wife and daughter went to Disney World for my 51st, I can't tell you how let down I was. The genie+ is a nightmare, and a cash grab, Galaxies Edge was was basically 2 rides(we got on smugglers run)
Rise of the resistance was broken ALL DAY, so the hotel guests couldn't even ride, and everything else was mostly lame merch and retail shops. They didn't have a saber I wanted, so I got the.Maul shadow saber, and back in March there were zero cast members anywhere. So we spent $1000 on a mediocre experience. Now I've got to go, time to.pick out another 89sabers. Later.
Hahahaha 🤣 Thank you so much for the compliment and for watching my video. I really appreciate that. And also thank you for sharing your opinions and experiences. I definitely put in my 40 hours like everyone else, which is why only have time time to do one video per week. 😕 Oh yeah, my southwest credit card helps me fly everywhere. 😉👍🏻
I really hate to hear when rides are down and sabers are not in stock. Sorry to hear that man. 🙏🏻
@@FindingTheForce Don't misunderstand, I wasn't trying to imply you didn't work hard for a living. We both know this isn't a cheap hobby, but we still love it.
I ordered the Luke ep4 graflex from 89sabers a few days ago,
the wife just shakes her head, oh well.
@@tannerspahn6492 you should stay on Twitter if you don't have anything positive to say.
Thanks for your opinions on your trip. I know that the price is hard to swallow for most, but my daughter and I were able to create lifelong memories together on our trip. I think you hit the nail on the head with mentioning that it is all about the attitude.
You can create lifelong memories in anything for free in your own household And people do everyday and have that money left over for more practical things or for other memories don't patch yourself on the back
@@Iambriangregory I’ll try not to “patch” myself too much, but thank you for sharing your daily allotment of brain power on how people should spend time with their family. Cheers.
@@hellraiser5d it's obvious from your questionable original comment and your second questionablel comment that you feel embarrassed that you were called out and shown up for being impractical in most people's eyes likely of the wasted use of money to create family bonds . sorry for your insecurities The insecurities were quite obvious by the fact that you didn't want to acknowledge the fact that you were patting your self on the back but you obviously wanted to distract from that with stupid childish analyzation of my comment. And you feel bad that you didn't look too good with the recommendation of wasting money and in addition to that you showed your genius by focusing on the obvious distraction that you tried to make at focusing on family can be done anywhere at any time You surely try to avoid that point Einstein ,so I spot off brain comments very easily and I called you out. You got called out you got exposed live with it and grow up okay Einstein? Before I embarrass you again got it?
Funding is needed to complete the Death Star! That’s why the prices are so outrageous!
😂😂😂😂
Super helpful, thank you! Is that the intrepid Spaceman Spiff?
I think thats the issue here. On a video it looke kinda tacky, but i bet its great if your there. Price is steep but i can see the costs here.
Thanks for your review of the entire experience
1500 dollars per person baseline. LMFAO absolutely not. absolutely not repeated. its short for price. its also completely 100 percent too reliant upon silly using y our phone to do virtual digital hunts.
hahahaha ... repeated! So funny. Hey man, I agree with you! It's a crazy experience. I am just a reporter. Did I mention they gave us an extra phone to use during the experience? Might've forgotten to mention that in the video. At least I got to save my battery and data on my personal phone.
They are closing it down next year.
Great Review. Very fair, very nuanced. It sometimes seems these days with many Star Wars fans who have a channel that all they can do is complain, complain and complain and it's exhausting and most of their criticism is frankly stupid.
This Starcruiser thing seems to be an awesome experience. And while the price tag is too steep for my wallet, I'm still sad to see it go. Would have loved to maybe experience it one day.
I'd rather pay 800.00 for a 7 day Caribbean cruise. 1500.00 a person for 2 nights and not even 2 days worth. That's crazy. If it was for 5 to 7 days for 1500 then I could agree to that price tag.
Yeah... there are so many other vacations you could take with that money... it's the super rare role playing experience you are paying for. 🤷🏼♂️
The market has spoken.
Looks like a pretty epic trip. Thanks for the unbiased opinion on the pricing, I thought $6k was a little steep, but you’re right it would be clever to go with a group.
Btw, I still think you Star Trek costumes we’re the best.
Take care!
Hey Kuya!! Thank you so much for another awesome comment. I also appreciate mentioning my Star Trek shirt, just felt like being silly and showing up a little bit different. The cast members got a kick out of it. I should've filmed more of the reactions, but I got caught up with checking into the hotel and trying to film everything.
I booked the Galactic Starcruiser but was disappointed to discover it remained stationary throughout. I have reported them to the Advertising Standards Authority.
9:51 That’s a normal basic-looking sliding door and probably used due to space concerns, It’s not futuristic at all, sliding doors have been used centuries
Lol… hey man, I totally respect your opinion. I guess I was just trying to say that it really fits with the in universe. Feel of Star Wars, a traditional hinge door would not.
I love that you wore a "Federation" science uniform 😂
My first day I ended up in an elevator with Chewbacca and I was honestly freaking out. It was SO fun!
😃😃😃 That’s awesome!! I know how you feel… it’s difficult to explain that kind of surreal fun to other people. 👍🏻
@@FindingTheForce ua-cam.com/video/pLhnHDRIxQ8/v-deo.html
Chewbacca patted me on the back after I fixed something in Engineering. Made me feel like I was 8 again. There’s no way to explain that feeling you get from such a simple interaction.
@@Jasonstrek that’s incredible and I would probably cry
Great video!!
It looks fun, but also made for the smallest fanbase, especially since it became trendy to hate on the sequels.
5K can give you 4 days of Suite in Hyatt Japan.
haha... you are not wrong! You could probably take a lot of awesome trips, but this one is definitely for Star Wars fans who enjoy the sequel films. Love the original UA-cam profile name 😆
@@FindingTheForce i mean i really like star wars, but does the inside feel like star wars? or just literally the feels of only episode 7-8? i really thought theres gonna be a Stromtrooper registration games where we can use their armors and stuff back then
Hello! Just wondering, when do you think the best time to shop is? I definitely want to buy some stuff, but I want to focus on the immersive experience, not stand in a big line for merch. I also would hope things wouldn’t run out during the voyage, so I’d have to factor that in. Thoughts?
If you go again before it closes, think about having a helmet/cap action camera or a Lifecam-style necklace camera to film everything you see without having to set up camera tripods. They are getting lighter, smaller, higher rez, longer laster per charge, and cheaper year by year. A way to have your Porg and roast it too.
So glad I finally found out whether the light around the window can be closed. What a terrible oversight, kills the entire idea for me.. I can't get past it as I find it so detracting even on video... and I too would want to sleep with the galaxy flying by. So.. until they fix this, if ever, it's a no go for me. Heck I would want all lights off in the room when viewing the windows period.
Hey Teddy, I totally agree. The light from the window itself would’ve been nice to sleep too, I think we all were a tiny bit let down that they put these bright floodlights around it that won’t turn off. But we didn’t let it ruin our trip.
@@FindingTheForce Of course, if you have already paid for it or even gone as a comp you are going to make the most of it.
Just for me personally it's great to know up front cause the two nights of sleeping "in space" was like at least 50% of the draw for me. Really bummed about it as I would have loved to do it.
Hopefully they'll update that - since the lights turn off when the shutter closes, the capability is there for them to modify.. apparently it's not been popular so far so maybe that's one of the things they change in future. I have read quite a few other than myself really disappointed about the windows lights.
I would have found a way to cover the lights around the window in the rooms to enjoy the view at night. Toothpaste&Cardboard, wet toilet paper, something! lol
@@DrizyDrako No jokes I was thinking if I ever went I'd do that too LOL! I'd bring some black fabric with mne or something.
At the end of the day it's just a big TV screen. I'm not sure how they could make it like you're actually sleeping surrounded by stars.
We just got back from there. It was as good as you suggest. I would look to having a night excursion for halcyon guests to Black spire/Batuu as well and have some crew and guest service members dressed as protocol droids. Just a few misses but it was great fun
You could've donated that money to blm to do some good but you wasted it on this failed franchise
🍿 looking forward to this one
Thanks so much for the support Dani, I can use all of it that I can get on his videos that don't showcase a lightsaber. Ha ha
As a huge Star Wars nerd who geeked out when I first went to Galaxy's Edge, this'll be a dream for me. Just wish I could go to do the lightsaber stuff, but it doesn't seem like that'll be possible with the price of the Starcruiser. Looks amazing though!
So after you forked out $6000+ you chose to wear a Star Trek outfit?!?!?
Why??
The lights around the window are an easy fix: Aluminum Foil and scotch tape. Blocks the light entirely.
Hahahaha Well your not wrong… but for the price you’re paying to go on this space cruise, one would hope they would not need to bring industrial tape and kitchen foil. 😂
@@FindingTheForce : )
Didn't even need to watch the vid ain't no way that is worth 6000 lmao that's disgusting they charge that much. But cool video my dude🙏🏽
Lol… thanks for watching anyway. 🙏🏻 😆
I could pay my mortgage, utilities, a cosmopolitan weekend suite in Vegas and go to Comic-con VIP for the next few years for the cost of one weekend here.
There’s no way I’m paying that kind of money to stay in a high tech Amazon fulfillment center with theme park food, David buster level interactivity and cute but not remotely impressive designs.
NO SIR BUDDY!!!
"I would like to go back in a few years..." Saddest comment ever. 😮💨
Personally I dislike the Sequel Trilogy so when I eventually do save for this to go with Friends and with My Partner I'd wait until they switch back to either the Empire Era or Clone Wars Era that way I'd fully enjoy it but it does look genuinely fun however for just two nights I feel the price is definitely a bit of a blow especially since it seems you don't have enough time to fully enjoy everything
I couldn’t agree more! 👍🏻 If they brought in Luke and Vader.. I’d be first in line to sign up! 😆
@@FindingTheForce Having fun chatter with Pre Order 66 Clones would be so immersive kinda like that Flashback in Fallen Order with Cal or maybe the bedroom is decorated like a room on a Venator
I'm kinda having wishful thinking but great video as always Bud!
6000 on top of flights, vehicle rental and basically wanting to do anything interesting while on vacation is a tall order for anyone but the most dedicated SW fans. No wonder its started tanking after almost a year.
The actors' commitment reminds me of the actors for the show Jury duty, those guys spent pretty much a whole week in character for one guy.
awesome video
If I went back, I would bring painter's tape to put over the lights around the window.
Hahaha that’s actually a great idea J. 👍🏻
I'm no performer, but I think it would be really fun to play one of the Stormtroopers...as long as they give them some leeway to improvise...I'd love going around telling Jedi to watch their back and move along and saluting Sith cosplayers...seems like lots of fun...but I'm sure after a while it gets pretty old...
Hello, new subscriber here, after seeing all the videos, I wonder, where do you find all of that money to afford the legacy lightsabers and those custom neopixels?
hahaha... Hey LOD! First of all thanks a lot for the support, I really appreciate it. MrBeast has said multiple times on social media that if you want to grow your channel you should put whatever money you make back into your channel to help it grow. 😉 Wait till you see my EPIC collection video. lol
What would they do in case of emergency? Fire? It seems odd not having a real window to see outside and get fresh air. This is one reason why I never booked it and now it’s ending. It looks anxiety inducing to me as it looks like a giant closet. And no pool? My kids wouldn’t like this either.
hahaha... Funny, you should say that, they actually had a warning video that everybody had to watch before entering the experience which talked about the difference between a real and fake emergency. 😆
@@FindingTheForce That's good. We were wondering about that.
Perhaps this hotel didn't do so well as more and more people are waking up the the lie that is heliocentricity. My 3 children aren't excited about fantasy space stories at all anymore. Teenagers know that the moon landing was fake while their grandparents hold it close to their hearts. This next generation knows too much and isn't so easily fooled. Our children never wanted to do this but my husband and myself were a bit curious about it.
This is not worth 6000$. For the guy acting like a total shill... he was honest.
It does gotta be expensive to operate but make this half the price and it’s reasonable and they would still be making bank win win scenario
Good idea blue, but Disney really seems to have been catering to the super rich with their new vacations and crazy Star Wars drink on their new cruise ship. 🙄
@@FindingTheForce true also Disney in general is extremely expensive but all the parks hotels have some cool themes but cost much less but thank you for replying loved this video also wondering I know you have a lot would you ever rank your lightsabers ? also another question have you gotten an ally saber ? Sorry for asking just curious
You're paying for all of the actors and cast members, and humans behind the scenes making the experience work for 45 hours. Without them, it's not worth anything. With them, it's the best entertainment event I've ever experienced. Personally, I definitely found the $1500 per person price tag to be 'worth' it. Plenty of people spend more money on a weekend trip to Vegas, or NYC, or going to the Superbowl, or Coachella, or whatever.
here bc i saw in Charlies video (penguinz0) that its closing down, wanted to see the experience there.
Seems extremely expensive but i guess if you are really a diehard Star Wars fan you can have a lot of fun and get awesome memories.
i can absolutely see why its closing down tho, its just so expensive that most normal ppl (and i guess most SW fans ware just normal ppl) cant afford it, so who is left to go there?
I’m here for the same reason 😂😂😂
Are there exclusive missions on the data pad if you stay at the galactic starcruiser?
Hey Carmen, I think all of the missions are only exclusive to guest to stay on the Starcruiser. If you're walking through galaxies edge you can still use the data pad on your phone with a Disney play app to hack signals and unlock crates to find fun but meaningless collectibles
THANK GOD that place was closed down. The fact that you said it's inspired by the Last Jedi...BURN IT WITH FIRE!
I really like what you said about the sequels. I don’t like them as much as the other two trilogies too but I still like Kylo Ren and other parts of it
so I'm in Australia and would love to see this however prices to the US from South Australia would be a killer.
Your enthusiasm for Star Wars will have to keep me satisfied until I sell all of my internal organs to cover the cost.
The captain is a Pantoran, for anybody who was wondering.
Oof how it changed now closing
It’s not worth it but it’s appropriately priced? What? Shill much?
Too expensive for poor people too cheap for rich people, like who are they marketing to?
Hahaha… I didn’t think of it that way 🤔
Its a Problem: They want ALL the Fans. They want the Kids, but they want the Nerdy Dad too. So the mix Rouge One with Episode 9 wich satisfied nobody
I like your honest review and I know it's not for me the atmosphere and even your videos makes the illusion look cheap and that's what bothers me yes you can have great actors and the food can be ok but the price does not justify it.
Hey thug, I totally respect your opinion and you're definitely not wrong. I'm so happy to see all of my viewers being kind and respectful in the comments. Thank you so much for watching.
Reminds me of the star trek experience that was on Las Vegas many years ago. But it stinks that the star wars hotel got shut down. there was alot of potential in it 😊
Love ur videos bro , kinda sad it's getting shut down and never got to experience it , as an avid star wars fan ot would be hard not to enjoy the atmosphere
Thanks a lot man I really appreciate that. I am also disappointed, planning to make a video sooner or later about it.
@@FindingTheForce it looks insane though, bet u had the best time ever , the effort the workers and actors put in , would be worth it just from the video, awesome that u replied also , made my day , may the force be with u sir 😎
This seems so cool, if it was cheaper I would probably go also love your cosplay
Hey donkey, thank you so much for the compliment. I think a lot of people share your point of you. I wonder if they did lower the price if it would make everybody angry who just paid full price the month before. Lol
$6,000 no. It if was way cheaper and a different trilogy then yes.
Ha ha, fair enough. Thanks so much for sharing and watching my video. 🙏🏻
@@FindingTheForce I'll still go just to try it a couple years from now but I would've liked it even better if it was the original trilogy
I NEED TO GO THERE!!!!!!!
There are a lot of critics out there but I had to be honest that the food, service, and entertainment were all fantastic. I really hope you make it there someday bud.
Talk about pissing your money away
3:36 😬 that would be me. I think it looks okay in the movies but I have yet to see a toy version that didn’t rub me the wrong way
lol... Companies probably do their best to make toys from the movies but I think that a lot of them are lacking in texture and color.
I wouldn't even do this for $1500. I would pay $200 but not more than that. That's just my opinion though. I've never been to the Galaxy Explorer, and never will because of the price but I still think $1500 is a bit too much based off of what I've seen on UA-cam.
I totally understand man. Thank you so much for watching
For $6000 I can buy and have to own till it craps out a very nice entertainment system or a good computer systems with a nice TV/monitor. I would get years of playing games, watching movies and streaming television. That is worth it. A two day trip for the same $6000 would only get me memories that will fade pretty quickly unless I spent the extra $$$ for the movie version.
I feel like it would be a bit better i it was a day on a star destroyer because it would be a bit more familiar to fans and you could help the rebels escape
Hi, I’m one of those negative Star Wars fans. I wouldn’t call it toxic, just critical. Anyway, I’m not here to complain at all. I appreciate the enthusiasm and the attitude about your trip. It’s nice to see someone focus on what’s positive from time to time.
Here because I heard it was closing down, and wanted to hear an honest review of the place and what they offered. Thank you for that and your time.

Just an observation but they seem to hire as few men as possible
Hey Lak, it is an interesting observation. However the first order lieutenant, the engineer, the manager, and the musician all appeared to be male.
@@FindingTheForce so the bad guys and the help lol, I didn’t see the manager

You looked so happy for some reason 😅
Well sure man… it was fun! 😉😃
in one clip u were wearing a star trek shirt hahaha
This should be $1,000 per day/night for a family of 4 at the MAX!!
Disney has decided to shut it down completely due to bad planning and lack of people with $6000 for a 2 day theme park adventure
Yeah the force was used in new ways along with the laws of the force being changed
This looks like a horrific way to spend a vacation.
I must go there is it way better then other hotels
it is not a Disney Hotel. From the moment you enter you are pretending you are in a galaxy far, far away and in the Star Wars Universe. There is no refrig or coffee pot in the room, nor a lounge/pool/arcade. There is no regular food. It is a Cos Play Sci Fy adventure.
It's a total experience my friend! Food, fun, adventure.. do it! haha
I’d buy a vision pro before I did this, it’s half the price and I’d get a lot more fun out of it in the long run.
$6000?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I could buy a Gibson Les Paul for that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I know DANG well you ain’t wearing a Star Trek shirt to a Star Wars themed hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don’t nobody wear Star Trek merch to a Star Wars hotel, my boy!!!!! I haven’t been there and even I know that!!!!!!!!!
David; you miss the point. This is not a sci fy convention; you are IN THE MOVIE (in the Star Wars Universe) so you don't wear regular clothes. Only way to get money's worth is to dress and interact as though you are an extra in the movie. Over 50 reviewers and YT videos made that clear; if you don't dress up and pretend , not worth going.
hahaha... Thanks David! I wanted to show up to the hotel.. looking a little different. But remember, at the end of the video I talk about the "per person" price.. was like $1,500. 🤷🏼♂️
@@esciteach7997 but why a Star Trek shirt?
I went in May and LOVED it. Seriously, one of the funnest thing I have done in years. I have memories that will last forever. That's worth it.
I love to hear that, thank you so much for the comment. It overall really was a very magical time. If I had to change anything, I just wish I was filming less and enjoying it with my son more. 🙏🏻👍🏻
So sweet
Hey Constance, thank you so much for watching, I hope you made it to the end of the video. Ha ha
Considering this has already died as a failure and is a symbol of former CEO Chapek's failure, it's obvious it was never worth that price tag.
Wait… 7000 between 5 people??? Thought it was more than that
How do you manage to smoke a cigarette ?
