I have stayed in rooms at like a holiday inn or Marriott that have bigger and nicer rooms than that. Pricing is what killed this thing for Disney, and its crazy that they would rather close it instead of trying to lower pricing to attract more people.

It is basically like any cruise ship experience. They throw interactive activities at people the whole time. That said, an introvert could find comfort in getting away from the day-to-day life and be around completely different people.
It's amazing how much the world can change in less than 2 weeks. With the beginning of the end announced earlier today, that makes you members of an exclusive group of DIsney guests. Congratulations on being one of the lucky few, for better or worse, to experience Galactic Starcruiser. For many of us fans, who couldn't afford to go...and maybe would have had a chance in the future, we are now resigned to living the experience vicariously thru you and others.

Even at $4800 (20% of $6000), that is way too expensive for me. You could take a two week real cruise and see some other countries for less than that or go to Europe for a week or spend some time in Hawaii or Alaska

I think it’s a brilliant idea and concept, and they could seriously use this first time to consider their mistakes and what to do better in the future.
Disney has failed in almost every aspect of Star Wars. They cant make good content. Thats why no one cares about their fake version of Star Wars. Thats why this Hotel flopped. Because its based on their version of Star Wars no one wants, likes or care about. The only thing to learn is to stop force in their stupid political agenda, start respect George Lucas work, and just quit destroying this Franchise by stop making content. If it was something like $800 for 2 nights, it would still be crazy overpriced but it might be within the range to have a cute experience with not that great a hotel room but plenty to see and lots of events. I am so sorry that you are going through such a horrible disease!! I am grieving my mom who died 4 months ago, she and I were so close. Also I became disabled 2 years ago. Since I am still waiting for the state of Georgia to approve me for my disability and medicare I have lost most of my ability to walk. I can't have the surgery that will help me to walk again till I am approved. I don't have breast cancer, I can't even begin to imagine what you are going through. But since I can't walk and I suffer from pain that is so bad I vomit from it I do count on these videos and others like them (I don't sleep) to get me through. Good luck to you. Forgetting the price for a moment, I just love the theming - it looks really well done. I'm more of a trekkie myself and really enjoyed the Star Trek Experience @ the Hilton in Vegas back when that existed. Had a real nice thanksgiving dinner there one year with a few borg and klingons walking around interacting with the guests. Would have loved to see that extended to a more complete experience like the starcruiser, but that's obviously never going to happen.
We went when the starcruiser first opened, I got to completely nerd out, but my wife was NOT thrilled. The price at that time was very prohibitive to alot of families but I got to live inside of my dream movie franchise for 2 plus days, so I'm really not complaining. Great video as usual Adam, I hope you guys enjoy the experience.

The thing about the Starcruiser is that you really have to take every opportunity to attend events and attractions and get yourself immersed in it all, otherwise I don’t think it’s worth it.

I think it looks like great fun if you're a fan. It was priced too high though I've seen people pay more for some concert tickets for performances that last maybe 3 hours. Of course, it depends on the performer & seat. And for some performers it might be your only chance to see them for years. If they brought the price on this by half, I think it would work... and honestly, prices probably would have come down after a year or so with this. I think whether you think it's worth it depends on your interests. I'm more of a Trekkie... but I like Star Wars, too. I couldn't pay that price for 2 days...but I would go for a lower amount perhaps... especially if they do celeb cruises.
@Marty's 4x4 OH yeah... especially some of the big ones from the past that you know might not be around again. Have I paid that much for a concert? Nope. But I definitely know people that have for front row or even just very close up at a special concert. I've only been down front for one big artist and he never sells the front 3 rows. He has his people wander the venue before the show and pick people... especially those in the nosebleed seats and gives them wristbands for the front rows. It was AWESOME. I love artists like that.

Great vlog but, I'm sorry; this is one of Disney bad investment, they want you to spend thousands in a confined themed closed in motel with no spa or pool and eat bento boxed food that they actually have outside of galaxy edge and on top of that, there's no simulation like you can feel the "space ship" move or hit some sort of asteroid, you can spend less money on a cruise where you can eat, drink and swim and move around when and what ever you want. This has got to be the most overpriced gag I've ever seen a place such as Disney. This is just my opinion but to each it's own.
Daphne looked so pretty. The two of you look so relaxed. I’ll probably never make it there so it was fun to go along and experience all that Disney has to offer. You two always do a great job. Fun times.

Desperate Disney gives many rooms away to “influencers” since they can’t sell out rooms. Didn’t hear these guys explicitly say they paid, so Disney probably gave it to them for free to shill.
They should ban people filming inside, it must be so annoying to have UA-camrs filming everything with their phones and cameras the entire time when you have paid $6,000 for this. Thats why I will never go as it is not immersive when people are wearing street clothes and filming everything.

I think it looks like great fun if you're a fan. It was priced too high though I've seen people pay more for some concert tickets for performances that last maybe 3 hours. Of course, it depends on the performer & seat. And for some performers it might be your only chance to see them for years. If they brought the price on this by half, I think it would work... and honestly, prices probably would have come down after a year or so with this. I think whether you think it's worth it depends on your interests. I'm more of a Trekkie... but I like Star Wars, too. I couldn't pay that price for 2 days...but I would go for a lower amount perhaps... especially if they do celeb cruises.
@Marty's 4x4 OH yeah... especially some of the big ones from the past that you know might not be around again. Have I paid that much for a concert? Nope. But I definitely know people that have for front row or even just very close up at a special concert. I've only been down front for one big artist and he never sells the front 3 rows. He has his people wander the venue before the show and pick people... especially those in the nosebleed seats and gives them wristbands for the front rows. It was AWESOME. I love artists like that.
I’m betting that this entire experiment will be completely shut down and written off by Disney in the next two years if not sooner. Sorry, it looks ridiculous for what you have to pay. Plus the food looks like you picked it up at Roy Roger’s!!!

All the others had me feeling lackluster about the experience, but you two made it look so much more fun and exciting. I actually want to go now. Great vlog but, I'm sorry; this is one of Disney bad investment, they want you to spend thousands in a confined themed closed in motel with no spa or pool and eat bento boxed food that they actually have outside of galaxy edge and on top of that, there's no simulation like you can feel the "space ship" move or hit some sort of asteroid, you can spend less money on a cruise where you can eat, drink and swim and move around when and what ever you want. This has got to be the most overpriced gag I've ever seen a place such as Disney. This is just my opinion but to each it's own.

Desperate Disney gives many rooms away to “influencers” since they can’t sell out rooms. Didn’t hear these guys explicitly say they paid, so Disney probably gave it to them for free to shill.

They should ban people filming inside, it must be so annoying to have UA-camrs filming everything with their phones and cameras the entire time when you have paid $6,000 for this. Thats why I will never go as it is not immersive when people are wearing street clothes and filming everything.
