The pressure from media got to him. At Juve and Madrid he was world class. Game against Stoke was amazing. Especially his 4th goal. The control on the ball was so special. Also the crosses from Azpilicueta are out of this world.
I think as Chelsea fans we are being humbled by these new owners, they are teaching us a valuable lesson that we have to be patient for good things to happen. Looking back to the crop of players we have had compared to what we have now ill say we were spoiled but its time we come off our high horse and learn to appreciate more than just turn on our players as we did Morata.
LFC fan here, I thought he was quality, had it all, heading, finishing either feet, his performance against Stoke was amazing, his 2nd I think was Henry/esque! Get the ball, power past the defender with pace and slot it home.
He was such a good player, but then after Arsenal vs Chelsea... y'know... at least hes doing good at atletico madrid now and he is away from being treated badly by the Chelsea fans.
@@PirateRadioDude I don't know wtf happened, when he returned he was slower he got really uncoordinated he couldn't keep his balance at all was always on the floor nevermind missing chances his overall play drastically declined
Not as big of a flop as many claim. He just needed a bit more time and support from the fans and slack from the media; people should've known that we weren't getting a ready-made Didier or Diego but rather a more functional striker with good runs, assists, a decent amount of goals, good pressing, and someone that could've played in a 2. If Chelsea kept him with the current breed of players, we really would've played some lovely stuff. Saying that, I think it's critical we find a way to play with Lukaku and/or Werner, or even Havertz instead of going out and signing yet another striker that will likely go through the same process; I hate to say it as a Chelsea fan but our fans are the main reason why Chelsea haven't been as sustainable as City or United, all be it we've won a lot - I think we really could've been a dominant force by now if we had more stability.
he is a player with a talent to become one of the best cf in the world ,,but the most important thing he lacks is confidence ,self belief, critics should not make him perform poor
@@apabendajadihariini4108 you realize he has 16 goals waived off by VAR, right? but when he's not getting goals, he's still contributing by outrunning defenders, exploiting their holes before assisting Mount, Havertz, Ziyech, or Lukaku. Werner's more important to Chelsea than Morata ever was.
The funny thing is he was doing better than both Salah and Lukaku for a period of time, then something in him just broke and he just couldn't score after that.
Morata's actually VERY effective if he lessened trying to be too cute with the ball. Notice that a lot of his goals are just on mere wit, just wanting to put the ball on the net. No need to make a curling shot or dribble past the goal keeper, just find the opening
Man this guy only plays 1 year for each club like in 2016 he was in Juventus than the next year Real Madrid and than Chelsea after 2018 he played for Atletico and now he is back at Juv lol.
Man he wasn't even that bad, he missed a lot of chances but he could have become very clinical with me confidence, big shame his we ruined his confidence

he still misses sitters in juve
@@pranav288 he's still a Great striker
@@pranav288 every striker does
Since that 2-2 game against arsenal, Morata hasn’t been the same.
He is a pure no. 9, so many headers
No striker today can do heading like he did in Chelsea. But, so bad, no one appreciated him in Chelsea but Conte, the coach that time.
He wasnt even that bad his first season, I don't know what went wrong...
Vanja Lonac he lost confidence because of how Chelsea fans treated him
Yeah he lacked a lot confidence
Then when he goes to other team athleti he playing like his first year
No more heads
During his first 15 games he was really good but after that he was poor.
His header so deadly in the air
I'm a United fan but I love Morata he's such a satisfying player to watch
U are either trolling or simply stupid

I loved him at first and then he got injured against Manchester City and I never saw that Morata again
Same bro, he started the game so well too. After he got injured, he was never the same player again.

morata and azpilicueta is a great combination!

Morata treatment is now reminding me of Kepa treatment Chelsea fans are ruining good players :(
Look at him now at Juventus. He is so so good.
So sad he went to the team that is not fit with him, he should go to man utd, and lukaku should go to Chelsea, these should change their team
He scores headers
If we had a team full of morata and azpi, we could’ve won the league 😂😂😂

idk if yall remember this but hes not the same morata since he injured against man city...we lost 1-0 in that game...
What a shame because he started very well.

Arsenal could do with a player like Morata
Am I the only one who kind of felt bad for him in that Juve game?
Morata reminds me a lot of Higuain. Great for A rated clubs, okay for A+ clubs.
The most header for chelsea striker of all time?
Thames W yeah! But can’t score with his feet
