Concepcion should check out H.O.W. interview with George. The portrayal of events in the show is not necessarily historians missing things. It's just a different story
The Tyrion comparison is not far off at all. Book Tyrion gets much darker. He kills his father. He wants to kill his sister. In the end he hates his entire family and joins the faction of their enemies.
I think Rhaenyra has Daemons ball. It’s black and they’re both playing with it in the episode they’re in the small council and have a ball. It would make sense thematically. They look super alike if it’s not the same exact one.
I think Daemon already knows about the prophecy. He already feels betrayed by his brother not confiding in him. "Dreams didn't make us kings. Dragons did." Daemon
Did anyone actually screen what they shot? Or did they just shoot it and send it off? This episode is sooo dark you can't even tell who is who or wtf is happening. Sadness
I think he did video stuff back in the Binge Mode days. Because I remember him being hella handsome. Binge Mode is pretty great if you haven't listened to it!
i think "wants power" isn't a very interesting motivation for Larys. Most people are saying he's just another littlefinger. which seems kinda like bad writing? sooo. i'm guessing there is more. a) One might note that the show started in Harrenhal. Which is where Larys grew up. was born back then? b) lots of people speculate Larys might have hung out on the god's eye island, communicating with children of the forest and/or weirwood trees. because it's right next to Harrenhal. So maybe there is a chance Larys is working with/for children of the forest. Maybe eager to take down the latest westeros invaders since the andals, the targaryens.
I have a crazy theory, stemming from episode four where Daemon is in the Godswood, standing beneath the heart tree with his eyes closed looking like he’s listening to something that he is in communication with Bloodraven.
While true that Bloodraven is not born yet, it does seem that time is non linear and fluid once in the weirwood network, so I don't think these things are in conflict...
By naming Rhaenyra heir, Viserys Has shown he doesn’t really give a shit about Westerosi tradition, Regardless of their parentage, those “strong” boys are Aemma’s grandkids, and all this loose talk will likely lead to their death, and keeping them alive is worth any number of tongues.

Great episode as always!
I've only heard his voice before on the official podcast and expected someone less handsome for some reason

don't think bloodraven is born yet. (wiki says : he was born in 175. HOTD is around 120 right now?)
