    Journey maps can help you and your team visualize what your end users are thinking, feeling, and doing, to build empathy which will help inform how to improve an experience. This session will help you understand how to create a journey map of your own.
    To kick off this design thinking workshop, we'll split into teams and exercise empathetic listening skills. Then we will learn how to role-play scenarios that will help inform our map, while others observe and listen to the dialog while recording key elements of the interaction. This will start the foundation of a blueprint. Then together we'll gather around a journey mapping board using sticky notes and sharpies to transfer the understanding from the blueprint to a current-state hypothesis map. We'll further evolve the current-state journey map based on "customer" input; prioritizing pain points within the journey.
    At the conclusion, each team will share out their current state journey map and new ideas, plus potential solutions that teams discovered during the process.

    Marc Macaluso is a strategic minded business executive with experiences in B2B as a Manager at Emerson Electric and a Director at Regal Beloit; multi-billion dollar, international, industrial organizations where Marc honed his Digital Transformation and Customer Experience knowledge. Marc currently is the CMO for NKY Speech & Language Services, a healthcare company.
