Night light experience in Munich | Das Kunstareal verbindet

Due to the continuous lockdown in Germany, Munich city (Landeshauptstadt München) arranged impressive light and video installations for visitors to wander from Königsplatz to the Pinakotheken. The area is illuminated with its eighteen museums and exhibition spaces. Visitors can thus experience the spatial totality of the Kunstareal. At the same time, the unique combination of art, culture and knowledge at this location is staged by light and video installations. This creative approach offers a nice walk for visitors to see the art pieces outdoor without entering the museums.
The light action was realised with the Munich video artist Betty Mü, the agency WE ARE VIDEO, guest artists and the Department of Culture/ Technology - in cooperation with the Kunstareal Munich.
