Nothing makes your hair stand on end like the sound of blown V8's...these guys have the best seat in the house, with the right hand on the throttle, controlling 5,000 hp...what a ride...
It never ceases to amaze me to watch them start these multi engine machines. Just fire up one and then engage whatever clutch it is. Definitely not the one on the transmission.
for one thing, nitromethane is NOT allowed in tractor pulling, however the engines are the same as the dragsters. they can run on alcohol or methanol for fuel and some engines are about 2,500-3,000 hp apiece depending on how they're built.

I've thought about shit like that to! How about an unlimited tractor with tube chassis, probably Tim Engler built with 4 to 6 diesel super stock motors like the pulling trucks are doing now days! Or super stock alcohol!

this tractor is a beast even in the heavier classes with the 5-6 engine tractors! very good running tractor!!

Seems like there use to be a gal who ran to the end of the track after the tractor was hooked to the sled. She was as fun to watch as the tractor.
My 1943 Farmall A wasn't quite that bad, but it never, ever, failed to start on one crank by hand.

i saw the funny farmall last night, he has 4 engines this year is in unlimeted mod this year he has the motors facing outwards now it looks sick
cross boxes and crowerglides my boys , thats how they hook it all together! kinda like a gocart with a centrifugal clutch
