I think they are underestimating the Fed,this fed would not have cut rates just like that they are still data driven, they have looked at history and decided, but basically there is a lot of stuff going on this is not a standard cycle. And there is an oil supply glut, this will bring down fuel prices for next 9 months or keep them stable. Inflation will trend down slowly, I'm fairly certain the Inflation was caused by excessive economic easing of the pandemic and the war and turning the economy back on after the pandemic died down. The main issue right now wealth disparity that's a real real problem that policy makers need to address

The way he rates the health a consumer is laughable out of touch. Having to rely on credit cards, paying way more eating out, shopping at Walmart. How on any earth is any of that sign of a healthy consumer?

Unless we get some productivity miracle, it's hard to see how the consumer remains strong without inflation reaccelerating.
