Great video. So much to learn. 😅 Godbless,🙏👑⚔️💪🕊️
I love that there is no dislike
I love how this follows the NREMT practical point for point. Scene safe BSI...
Thanks for this! I'm taking an EMT B class and this is perfect!
This appeared in my feed the morning before my trauma OSCE (student paramedic over in the UK)
Awesome, thanks.
Thanks. Good and quick review. Never hurts to hear this stuff over and over, so it becomes part of your "mental muscle memory."
I think this helps. I watched emergency back in the day.A little ringers lactate solves a lot.
Ever since I started watching your videos my anxiety for when I go get my first responder and EMT has died downed, thank you so much man

Thanks!
Thanks again for another outstanding video. It's really helping me through my basic EMT course and helping me get ready for National Registry.
Would you mind making a video on distraction injuries?
Another great video
Dude. This is a great assessment video . Thanks :)
Great video
Thanks
Perform is misspelled. Smiles!
Check radial pulse in the un injured arm. Or if no radial pulse in one arm, try the other. Re chest penetrations, check the back for an exit wound. Doesn't the FA attendant always maintain control of the head when moving the patient in order to maintain C Spine?2 dislikes as of 20 Nov 2019 but I'm not one of them.
this is the bomb
Thanks!
Just watching this excellent video years later and wondering - do you still use ABCDE of if you’ve switched to MARCHE? Also I’ve heard some now use DCAP-BTLS-TIC (adding Tenderness, Instability, & Crepitus).
MARCHE
DCAPBTLS! Awesome video!
Yes sir
Thanks for these lessons. You're a great instructor. After just a few of your videos I feel confident that I could perform all of the MARCH treatments ( if I don't faint). Is the Red Cross course a good one or is there something better?
What would it sound like through the stethoscope if they had a nemolthorox
Lets say this person was in a car wreck. What would you do from the moment you decided to pull over and help as first on scene, up until this video started? How to stay calm, where to place your vehicle etc.
Block the scene, call 911, keep people from doing stupid shit, keep the victim still. Big thing with wrecks is people wanting to help and making things up to help, resulting in them pulling people out of vehicles (without checking for spinal injuries), damaging property needlesley, etc. Keep the victim still, and help calm them, and then move on to this. And only do what your state allows, and never do anything you have no trained to do (watching a video isn't training, take this all and practice in real life on a real person until you are proficient).
I like it!
SkinnyMedic The people trying to help bit I always try to push into people's heads since every time I've come across an accident or dealt with a bike wreck it's been a massive issue. I've seen everything from people flipping cars, trying to rip helmets off people without undoing the strap AND when they had a neck injury, to people throwing broken metal and glass into traffic.
Hey Great Video it was a nice refresher for me. I have a simple question, with a hip fracture leg twists out or in same question for femur fracture besides screaming in severe pain?
Yes you could have shorten and rotation of the leg in the effective side
CABCD do the basics well and you won't go far wrong
Can I use posterior tibial pulse instead of using dorsalis pedis?
Yes. Tibial is typically preferred since it's easier to get to (especially if they're wearing shoes), easier to find, and the dorsalis pedis is very easy to occlude giving a false-positive when checking.
MotoNurse Thank you for answering!!
Do paramedics get much training on how to remove a handgun that might be worn on the injured person and be in the way? I worry if I were hurt and someone with little to no experience would try to remove my gun and accidently shoot me. Just wondering?
no training on removing guns from patients
Most EMS would leave it up to the police department
EMS also includes police officers.... The officers first clear the scene safe. In the event during an assessment and a firearm is found, the emt will notify the officer to disarm the patient. Hope this answers your question.
I hope UA-cam is doing something about the demonization of videos. Are a lot your videos getting demonetized?
I hope they get fixed too! Yes about half of my videos are not advertiser friendly! Also they have now put my videos under review for the first 72 hours it is posted! So ads for the first 3 days!
He was wearing the same outfit 4 weeks ago?
I need to get Bob a clothes sponsor haha!
So they do this in public in real life situation? I thought paramedics don't have look at the butt or the other part unless it was injured. Which is embarrassing having them look at your butt in public.
So if the patient did pee or poop on them self. What do the paramedics do for that?
Every time I read about trauma assessment. I thought that meant strip the patient naked. Do paramedics strip patient naked in public? If so, why? Don't you guys worry about the privacy. You know how's the public is interested about that. Don't you mostly perform a trauma strip in the back of an ambulance than in the public?
DCAPBTLS lol
