To be honest I've spend i think hundred of hours on UA-cam just watching tutorials and i think these videos made by Chris are soo helpful I learned so much by these amazing tips that no one talks about but are very important. To be honest i get easily bored on watching lengthy tutorial but idk somehow i was so into this video that it seemed like it was a 5min video.. please chris keeping doing videos like this especially the 7 tips video was totally worth watching
Man, The timing on this one. I was just trying to do exactly this and your video dropped. Thanks a lot Chris. These tutorials means a lot! ❤🔥
Haha happy to help man!!!
This has to be the best tutorial on stacks I’ve seen on UA-cam. You explain everything so clearly. Thank you so so much man!! Can’t wait to produce tomorrow!
Not to mention I had no idea about that 2nd fundamental on the basses. I would always cut them at around 100 hz 😅 again, thank you for these videos!
Thank you John! I appreciate it man, really try to give as much value as I possibly can 🫶
that Skybreak pack is so unreal. great video
It’s so good!
Amazing tutorial, it feels nice to knowthat i have been going the right direction when it comes to mixing and layering but also learning more tips from you. Thanks alot it really helps.
Thanks buddy! Happy these tips are helping you on your way! 🫶
I have easily spent many thousands of hours on UA-cam watching music production related content over the years, and it's safe to say this is probably one of the best videos I've came across in that time! Really useful information with logical explanations at a reasonable pace with zero bullshit. I know I'll be coming back to this as a reference over and over again many more times in the future! Thanks again man, I really appreciate this info, seriously. Best believe I hit the subscribe button AND the like button with the QUICKNESS!!! (..and you should too--whoever you are reading this!..)
Oh, and yeah...that background music was kicking my ass too, straight fucked my brain up forreal- shit was actually throwing me off something fierce! So much in fact, that by ~25min in I actually had to pause the video to check to see how much longer I was going to have to endure it for but thank god the video was basically over so perfect timing in all honesty! LMFAO🤣I'm dead-ass serious too unfortunately lol! I wish I was just talking shit to poke fun for shits and giggles but I actually got pwned so jokes on me I guess hahahahaa 😆😆😂😂😁😁😉😉✌🏼✌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👍🏼👍🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼 Anyways, keep this stuff comin' bruh I'll be the first to click 💯🔥
Hahaha thanks sm dude, I appreciate the feedback, will keep the BG music super low or even off for future vids!
One of the best tutorials ive seen. Thanks for this keep sharing great content !
Damn 🥹 that seriously means a lot 🫶
Super useful the way you show the layering process from bottom to top. Really neat
Man, this vid is a gamechanger! I've been making drops from the top bottom for 1.5 years. Definitely will try this method. Question, how do YOU layer snares and kicks. You don't overlap transients do you?
Solid tutorial. More like this would be incredible
Thanks buddy, more coming soon!
Hey, tutorials are great. love how you go into explaining your decisions and how to apply them in general. I do get a little thrown off by the background music playing while you are talking. checked twice to see if i had any other audio playing.
Noted! I appreciate the feedback!! Happy you like the tutorial tho 🙏
some very good points
Happy to help!!
Learnt something about EQing mid basses,,,thanks Chris🔥🔥🔥
Happy to help!
❤❤❤ Hands Down Best Tutorial Ever 🎉🎉🎉
fantastic vid. simple yet so affective
Glad you found it helpful man 🙌
good tutorial, keep it up
Thanks man 🫶
Thanks a lot man❤🔥
You're welcome 😊
great explanation!
Ayyy appreciate the feedback!
Thanks for the hard work! QuickQuestion: What is the shaperbox track? Is it an audio track that recieves signals from other tracks just like the SideChain Bus? Rather than using a audio track, Why don't you put it on an audio effect bus?
Love it, so usefull thanks
bro sick❤🔥
Thanks homie 🫶
8:05 Oh honey... honey honey honey...
Lets gooo!!!!
🙌
cool
Thank you for the tutorial, I'm new here and I'm learning a lot, been a sub to the other 2 channels though for some time now, Compressing the drums together is not necessary?
Thanks for the sub! I don’t tend to compress my drums, I try to just get the best source samples and do as little work as possible, lazy 😂 I try to keep it simples!
Appreciate it Man honestly@@soundhorizonacademy
“Let me use this bass loop so we can do the drums”…. Homie! The bass loop is the part I need help making more than drums! I’m not that far in so hopefully we get to that but im not out here starting with pre built bass loops, that’s what I need to work on making!!
Edit: Never mind
Lmao yeah dude the bass loop was just for context to build the drums before starting the rest of the drop, hope this was helpful tho buddy 🙌
@@soundhorizonacademy it was, I added an edit. But still can we make a bass loop like that first one too?
What a coincidence I was making a melodic drop in Eminor lol
Hahaha what timing 😂
