    Worked for me. I soaked 4 napkin strips in water and laid them around the rim of the pot. Made sure the hat was touching the napkin all the way around. Hit it with the blow dryer on hot right afterwards.
    Thank you Ricky.

    Thanks a lot man, I have a rare San Antonio Spurs hat in all black with grey OG logo, can't find it anywhere since they switched up and I was gonna sell it lol, I used this method and went from a 7 3/4 to 7 5/8 and threw my hat in the dryer for 15 min and now it fits snug without no damage to the structure of the hat.

    I just tried this, instead of the stuffing techniques or throwing the hat in the oven. And honestly, I guess it worked. I put the hat on, and since the brim was mailable from the steam I decided to curve it. Once the hat cooled down the brim was perfectly curved, and the hat did have some shrink to it.. I don’t know how long it will last, but it fits good for now. And I wonder, would using a steamer under the cap have the same effect?

    • @rickynickyaccountingservices
      @rickynickyaccountingservices  3 роки тому +7

      You could probably use a steamer to do the same but that sounds like it would take longer. The shrink method this way always works for me. Hats stay at the size I shrunk them too as well.

    Use same size sauce pan so edges of hat can sit on napkin on edges. Also keep eye on napkin underneath if you got to much flame action coming round the sides of pan or windy. Otherwise this is easily far superior to any hat shrinking technique out there. Cheers for the info dude.

    Olá Ricky, seu canal apareceu por sujestão do youtube, eu comprei um 59fifty LA Dodgers Azul World Séries, na primeira compra fiz o pedido ensima do meu núero 7 1/2, veio muito apertado, pedi para trocar por um número maior 7 5/8, veio muito grande, mas com a técnica que você ensinou eu acabei de fazer e deu super certo, Eu uso óculos então a cada minuto e fui tirando o cap da panela e medindo na cabeça, agora ficou super confortavel, e da para usar com óculos não aperta as orelhas e ficou bem alinhado a cabeça.
    Receba um abraço do Brasil.
