Destene & Brandon, Do you know what would look dope, if you guys painted just the bottom floor of the Firepit a high glossy pitch black, & then paint every other step going down into it high glossy pitch black. Now that would really set off the GLOW of the fire pit and the bright gray surrounding it while sitting there enjoying It with guest. Then get some dark forest green, sun yellow, scarlet Red and brown pillows to give a outdoorsy vibe. That would give off such a relaxing atmosphere inside the firepit!!!
I love love love it. Y’all can be backyard consultant designers now. Suggestion: Please make sure when Ocean becomes a toddler that you find precautions to ensure that she can’t exit that door from the house to the pool and even be able to access it. I have heard some horror stories. Get her swimming lessons early.
Destene & Brandon, I'd like to give you guys a heads up about anchoring to the wall any furniture y'all have with drawers that pull out. They can very easily fall forward to tumble onto baby Pom-pom, that is why it might be a good idea to order some furniture anchors now & secure everything so future accidents can't happen also to get those plastic plugs now that go into electric outlets around the house to prevent Ocean(when she starts to crawl)from sticking anything inside & getting a electrical shock. Babies and children in general are extremely curious about all things, especially nooks & crannies, 🥰

Beautiful transformation… Like you guys I just purchased a home a year ago and I started on the inside. That’s almost complete now so… I’m in the process of getting my backyard renovated and installing a pool. That won’t be complete until next spring. People have no clue how much goes into a pool installation. The good thing is that they handle everything including securing the permits without any problems for me. I made sure that we went over everything down to the penny of what it would cost me but thankfully, the company includes all of the materials and equipment needed in the cost. So, no hidden fees or surprises.. I do love that it’s all by my design regarding the finishing touches and again, everything is included. So, if you’re quoted a price of $75k? That includes everything no matter what you choose for your surrounding tile’s, grout, lighting, etc. You can pick whatever you like and there’s no extra expense beyond the quoted price. I liked that but, I was so overwhelmed by all of the options available. It’s going to be my oasis when I’m done. My goodness it’s a process though and definitely not for the faint of heart. I love the gazebo so, I may go to the website to see about that. 😊
