Thanks for the question. No damage that I could see. I believe the pot is made of steel, and the lens does not get hot enough to burn through the steel pot. I does burn through copper, aluminum, zinc, nickel, and brass, which have lower melting points than steel.
@@mdj.6179 I think the issue would be if you can distribute the heat evenly. Maybe by not having the clay in the focal point. But putting it further away to prevent one single point from overheating. Just a guess.
That hotdog would probably be better in that boiling water. Haha
How much temperature does it emit? How long did it take to boil that water?
Joe will it be worth to build solar ray to generate electricity for household, in Asia we sun all day
How would that generate electricity? I dont think you should ask if that would be worth it, I think you should ask how to generate electricity.
I suppose a steam engine or turbine could be used to spin a generator
Before solar death ray got his mighty name
Could you explain how the lid works again?
So thats just the screen from a old projector tv?
yes, difficult to find the focus point and you can damage your eyes
could be use for camping?
Yes it can
Maybe a smaler version
Cool. Any damage to the pot?
