I appreciate your channel. Just got a Hunter controller installed, now I can fine-tune settings. Thanks.
Great How To! This was very helpful in getting me to program my unit. Everything worked great until the set time for watering started but, no water flowed. My system set-up(thankfully I quickly deducted) needed to to be set in the RUN Bypass Sensor setting instead of the RUN setting. Thank you very much for this great "How To."
Thank you for making this process user friendly. You've boosted my learning curve.

Awesome video thank you!! Question: can you share a video (or give a quick explanation) of how to winterize your sprinkler system?

Thanks, I'm glad the video helped.
hi - great video...very helpful, has saved me getting my yard irrigation sorted. I have 2 questions: 1. I have 5 stations on Program A. Station 5 will not turn off once it's come on in its sequence (have to manually stop it). I replaced the solenoid/valve, but that hasn't helped. Any ideas? 2. I know there's an "off" setting, but i can't figure out how to turn something off using the commands. Right now my program C is "OFF"... how would i be able to turn Off program B. Thank you.
The OFF setting keeps all the stations and programs from watering. To keep program B from watering turn off the start time(s) or have all the run times for the stations at zero. Since you've changed the solenoid on station 5 which is the most common problem, you may have small rocks or debris inside the valve that's keeping it from shutting off when the program finishes.
THANKS A LOT! THIS VIDEO SPARED ME A GREAT HEADACKE! ONE QUESTION: I HAVE THE SRC (NOT PLUS) CONTROLER. ITS PROGRAMMING DATE ENDS AT 2010. IS THERE A WAY TO PROLONG IT?
Probably not. If you turn the dial to Setting Date & Time and can't run the year past 2010 you'll just have to make do or upgrade to a different timer.
this was very helpful -thanks so much. i do have a timer problem. i have flowerbeds and lawn as a single zone, but when i finish that zone, and either manually or through the timer it goes to another zone, my lawn heads go down, but my flowerbeds keep sprinklering (!) - can you help?
Let me know if when the zone shuts off the lawn heads are seeping water. If they are the sprinkler valve isn't shutting completely off.
Thank you for the great video! I set my Hunter SRC to only run one program (A) which activates 5 stations to start running at 4:30 am on MWF mornings. This morning, my one of my stations was still running at 7:45am! What did I do wrong? All other programs (B and C) are programmed to off
Unless you have multiple start times on program A, I would guess your problem is in the sprinkler valve for the station that won't shut off.
Great video! Is there any way to set this machine to water once every two weeks? And can each zone set for the seperate valve, i just wired the new valve to the machine but it didn’t work. It always the old valve that goes off. Really appreciate your answer thanks!
No. You would need to water at least one day in the week. You have 3 programs so if you only have 3 sprinkler valves you could use one program for each valve. If you have more than 3 valves you would need to have multiple valves on one of the programs.
Hello, great instructional video! One question if you might know the answer, when I program A (my morning), B (my afternoon), and C (my evening) then move the selector to run, all programs should run throughout the day, correct? Or am I missing something?
Yes. Make sure you have days turned on for each program, station run times for each program, and start times for each program.
Thanks for the info! I programmed my system to have two start times (morning and evening - Mon-Sun) on program A for all of my zones except 2, due to new sod in the front yard. I programmed the backyard to run on even days on program B. I am having an issue where my system will run a couple of the programs correctly but then reset to the start times to 12:00 for all programs. Do you have any idea what would cause this issue?
This is from the manual: The SRC Plus has non-volatile memory which retains all program information in the event of a power outage. Your timer shouldn't have reset. I would reprogram and if it keeps resetting you may have a bad timer.
Thanks for this great video!! I’m curious though, my system just keeps cycling through program and then does it all over again...I set program to start at 5:30am and it’s still going at 9am even though I have the 9 sprinklers to go 8 mins each, therefore it should be complete by 6:42am...Any thoughts on what’s going on here? TIA
Remember one start time will water all the stations on a program in sequence. You don't need a separate start time for each station. I would check your programs for multiple start times.
Thank you so much!
Glad it helped!
@@Iscaper Seriously, I don't know what I would have done without your video. My husband died 3 months ago and I had no idea how to work the sprinkler system. A friend turned the water on for me (we live in Montana so every Winter the water to the sprinklers has to be turned off and blown out), and my daughter tried to help me program the sprinkler but she was getting it all wrong. So your video helped. Now, on a funny note......I'm sure my husband already had it programed if we would have just left it alone once we turned the water on. But what happened was my daughters friend from church came over (first) to turn on the water and I have no idea what he did but the sprinklers wouldn't come on which is why I was trying to re-set it. Turns out he had no idea what he was doing and hadn't turned the water on. Thankfully my friend knew how to turn the water on......AND.....your video thoroughly explained how to set it. So thank you for helping this clueless 64 year old widow 😊
@@janiethecraftprincess Thanks Janie for the feedback. After blowing the sprinkler system out in the fall simply turn the timer off. If the battery is good it should save the programs for the next spring when you turn the water back on.
@@Iscaper Thank you
Is there a way to set to only run program b. Just layer sod and want to water twice a day over the Labor Day wknd when I am out of town.
Yes. Just turn off the start times on the other programs.
Great video! I am new to sprinkler systems. When I try to run a station manually, often a totally different zone will initially come & run for a minute or so, then go off and the correct zone will come on. Any idea what my problem might be?
Sounds like a glitch in the timer. If you select Manual - Single Station, only that station should water.
Thank you for your video. I have one question my 1 station is not working. Probably I did something wrong
It may be a problem with the sprinkler valve.
great really appreciate the help thank you
Thank you
Welcome!
I enjoyed the video , my question is this.............. I have six zones , all are either rotors or sprays. To cut down on water run off and allow more time for the water to soak in what would be the best way to program my system for more than one start time for a zone. Example , zone 1 runs 12 minutes , I would like for it to water for 6 minutes and then stay off for maybe 20 minutes and then come back on and water 6 more minutes. I would like to do something similar for my other zones. Any help would be appreciated.
+467fhp
Easiest way is to do what you want would be on one program. For example, use program A and have the first start time at 5am. Have all the stations/zones 1-6 water 6 minutes. Set a 2nd start time for program A at 6am. Remember you need to add all the station run times together, which in this case would be 36 minutes, and have the 2nd start time start later than the combined run times of the stations/zones (36 minutes). Start times can't overlap. So your 2nd start time needs to be 5:37am or later. I used 6am for the 2nd start time so the water would have time to soak in. You could also do one start time in the early morning and the 2nd start time in the evening.
+iScaper1 Thanks very much I will give it a try.
Great instructions, one thing that I have a problem is changing the PM to AM in the watering time. Could you send me information on doing this, I would like to start at 7AM not 7PM
Use the Plus or Minus button to change the start time to 7am. Watch the small arrow in the display where AM/PM are displayed. This info is from the manual:
1. Turn the dial to the SET PROGRAM START TIMES position.
2. The factory preset is set on program A. If necessary, you can select program B or C by
pressing the PRG button.
3. Use the Plus or Minus button to change the start time. (The start times advance in 15 minute increments.)
Hold either button down for 1 second to change times rapidly.
thank you

Thanks for watching.
Your video is very informing but do you have to go to run every time you’re done with one dial setting
No, you can go from start times to station run times to set water days without turning the dial to run. Just turn the dial to run when you're done programming.
thnak you so much
Thanks for watching.
Hi. I have the same water sprinkler unit. My problem is I did set program a and b zone ton4 in 30 mi cutes each. As I was figuring out if either the settings will.eun automatically otherwise not. How donI know what is program a and b wirings are? I just can't furue it out. Eveeytime I run it ot doest swith zones it stops and doesn't switch zones. Ty
You need a start time for program A and a different start time for program B. The start times can't overlap or one program won't water. Unless you have specific water needs I would put all of your stations watering on program A.
I need too set the hunter src plus
How to use the odd and even? And if there not highlighted or on the the arrow on the days will water on those days?
This is from the manual:
1. Press the Next button until the arrow cursor is above either EVEN or ODD on the display.
2. Press the Plus button to select or the Minus button to cancel either Odd Days or Even Days. The previous selected days of the week will revert to active if Odd Days or Even Days is cancelled.
If you program everything and then leave it on run it should run automatically right? How do you ensure you don’t have anything programmed on B or C? This is the first time I am trying to do this by myself without a professional! Thank you!
If everything is programmed correctly the timer will water the valves in sequence. If you eliminate the start times on programs B & C, nothing will water off those programs.
Thank you. I have a question on programming this unit. I have 5 zones. 4 are spray heads and one is a drip zone with additional lines running off of it to multiple hanging baskets and pots. How do I program the drip line (my 5th zone) to run twice per day so that my baskets do not dry out in the heat? I tried using program A, starting at 5:15 am to water the grass and drip line. When I tried to program A #2 at a different time to just water the 5th zone by itself, I was unable to do so. Is deleting zone 5 from schedule A and putting the drip line on schedule B to run at 5am and 2pm the correct way to program this to get the results that I am looking for?
garden girl
Yes. If you put two start times on program A, all the stations (zones) on program A will water twice a day. Putting station 5 on program B with two start times is the way to go. Be sure to adjust the station run time for station 5 on program A to zero so that it doesn't water on program A also.
iScaper1 Thank you for the help ! : )

You're welcome!
Hello...I have this controller, although it is just a six station one. Programming was somewhat easy and it worked fine. Recently, we have come to a roadblock and don't know why it happened. When the programming hits the time to water, the display shows as if it is running and watering, but the system doesn't activate the water flow. Could it be a wire situation?
Yes, it could be the timer wire to the sprinkler valve or the sprinkler valve. Here's a video link that might help: ua-cam.com/video/dSSyMnLA4Yw/v-deo.html
System works great with one exception it continues to cycle through the stations so I have to manually turn it off which defeats the purpose of having an automated system what am I doing wrong please advise thank you
Sounds like you may have multiple start times on one or more of your programs. If you only want to water once a day you should only have one start time for that program.
I follow every step but some how it don't start how I setup. I setup at odd days program A at 4:30pm and 8:30pm is 8:35pm right now but my sprinkler is not going off? Am I missing something here? Please let me know if there a step I forgot to do. I follow all the step slowly already
One start time will water all stations in sequence on that program. Check if you can water the stations manually. If that works double check your programming.
Is it better to water daily for say 10 minutes/station or to water twice a week for 35 minutes/station? Is the answer the same whether you are watering a lawn with a sprinkler head or watering a flower bed with drip irrigation?
As a general rule it is better to water longer and less frequently unless you have a soil type or a lot of slope on the property where the water will run off.
Thanks.
Thanks, would like to see a more simple for just one program, start tiime, run time days. Kind of too many options for my purpose.
What if I don't want to run the manual all stations and just set my sprinkler to 4:00 a.m. the next day, do I still need to run all of my stations 1st manually?
No, you could run that station manually at 4am if you're going to be up that early, but I would program in a start time for that station if you want to water it regularly at 4am.
appreciate the video a lot. the only thing confusing me still is the "set watering start times" and "set station run times". i don't know which zones are connected where, but i do know that i want to water everything for 1 hour duration, starting at 3am, and ending no later than 6 am every 4 days.
do i just set programs A-1, B-1, C-1 to start at 3 am? and leave the rest to "off"? and set station run times A-1, B-1, C-1 all to 60?
Looks like you want to water 3 zones/stations, is that correct? I would put them all on program A. Set your start time at 3am on program A and the station run time to 60 minutes for each station. Remember one start time will water all the stations on that program in sequence, so your watering will start at 3am and end at 6am. It looks like this timer doesn't have a skip day feature so the every 4 days you want to water won't work, you'll have to pick 2 days of the week to water like Sunday and Thursday.
so i checked my system, i have 8 zones in total
front lawn - zones 1 (cone sprinkler for plants), 3 (side walk grass), 2, 8
side lawn - zones 4, 7
back yard - zones 5, 6
it doesn't look like it's possible to run them all in one day between 3-6 am, so i guess i have to stagger them between 3 days? that seems really confusing to setup, any help would be much appreciated
Put zones 1-3 on program A, zones 4-6 on program B, and zones 7 & 8 on program C. Set the start time on each program for 3am. Yes you'll need to water on different days or this won't work because you'll have overlapping start times. For example: Sunday & Wednesday for program A, Monday & Thursday for program B, and Tuesday & Friday for program C.
Hi, Thank you for the video. Is there a way to manually let all stations run together? We have a sand horse paddock that we want to water before starting the horse trainings. I now configured a program where (out of 4 sprinklers) the two opposite sprinklers run for 15 minutes, and then the other two (opposite) sprinklers run for again 15 minutes. Which takes me 30 minutes. Could I have them all 4 running together? Thank you. Herman/Belgium
The way to have 2 zones/stations water together is to connect two station wires on the same terminal at the timer. For example: you could take the station 2 timer wire and connect it to station 1 with the station 1 wire. Stations 1 & 2 would water together. This gets tricky because you may not have the flow necessary to run both stations together and performance for all four heads suffers. You could try it and if the performance for all 4 heads isn't acceptable you could reconnect the station 2 wire where it was.
Thank you - sounded promising, since the flow should be ok. I did what you suggested, but the screen showed ERROR, when I tested the new configuration. Any idea why? After splitting them again in 2x2, it worked like before.
Hmm. It's a pretty common practice here in the US to run 2 sprinkler valves from one terminal on the timer. It might be worth it on your end to talk to an electrician or someone from a sprinkler supply dealer to see if this is even possible to do in Europe, where your power supplies are different that here in the US.
Is there a way to delete a station? I have 7 zones in my yard, but somehow I have an 8-9th zone on my controller. I have set the run times for these for 0 minutes but I would like to delete them completely. Any help would be appreciated.
You have effectively deleted those stations with the station run times set to zero. The timer will skip past those stations on any watering.
Bought a home (resale) I don’t know what “a,b,c” is(are) I assume one is grass ,the other is flower beds, etc. how do I find out ?
Turn the dial to "Set Station Run Times" and see what stations are on program A by pushing the Next button. Push the Program button to go to program B and repeat previous steps, then push program button to go to program C and repeat steps again. This will tell you which stations are on which programs. Normally grass/lawn stations are on program A because they have similar watering needs, and drip stations/flower beds are on programs B or C.
How do I remove multiple start times on my Hunter SRC residential older unit.
With the dial set to the SET PROGRAM START TIMES position, push the Plus or Minus button until you reach 12:00 AM (Midnight). From here push the Minus button once to reach the OFF position.
How do you open the panel to replace the battery? I am having trouble getting it open...
Watch the video at 0:17. Try to pull out a bit on the tab when opening the cover.
My dial on the controller is malfunctioning. It's very sensitive how do I fix this?
My Hunter EC-600 controller display OFF. I tried manual but still shows "OFF" in display.
I followed all of your instruction still having problem...i set the hour as yours instead of watering at 5:15am,it started watering at 8:15am.....still don't know how to get it to water at 5:15am...i live in texas...please I would be happy if you tell me the exact hour to put it...i used yours which was 10:25 and still not working for me...help me please....thanks you for the video
Check that the clock on the timer is set correctly.
How does my system know which station are on what program; As I scroll through start times and run times I never see zones 5,6,& 7?
Look in upper left of display to see what program you're on. Push program button until program A is displayed. Turn dial to Set Program Start Times to check start times for program A. Use Next button to scroll through start times. Remember you only need one start time to water all zones/stations in sequence on a program. Turn dial to Set Station Run Times. Use Next button to check run times for all zones/stations on program A. Turn dial to Set Day To Water. Use plus or minus button to turn days on and off.
I understand the 'run times' - the display allows for 9 zones; I have 7. What I don't understand is which of my 7 zones is 1,2,3, and 4 on each of programs A,B, and C when setting the 'start times'?
+Sharon Gabbs Here's another way to put it..... How does my Hunter SRC know which zones are to be assigned to a particular program?
+Sharon Gabbs
The timer doesn't know, you have to assign a start time, a station run time, and days to water for each program. It's easiest to start out using Program A, then if you need additional or special watering for zones/stations, move them to program B or C. It's a good idea to write down which areas of the yard each station/zone waters.
Unless I missed it, it is not clear to me how to set the timer for different watering times for each day. Thank you.
So when I put it on run, it just goes back to the clock? Does this mean my hunter SRC is bad and I need a new controller?
No. It should go back to the clock unless you're manually starting valves.
Hi!!
How do we know which program works with a dripstation?
Any of the programs will work with a drip zone. I usually put grass zones on program A and drip zones on program B, C, or D.
How can I watered all station at once in the morning. Please advise
You can't water all the stations at once. Each start time will water all stations on the program in sequence.
What’s a drip circuits? And how do you know where they are?
Drip circuits are low volume low pressure watering. They are good for trees, shrubs, planter areas, and gardens. There is usually a pressure reducer and filter down stream from the sprinkler valve. Drip lines are usually installed on the surface of the ground for easy access.
How do you tell what program your on? When I’m on the run position there is no a, b or c
Dacoda 82 Upper left corner on my display shows program
I see I had this problem 7 years ago. 1,2,5,6 are lawn sprinklers; 3 & 7 are soakers; 4 is never used. Program A will be 1,2 but where is 5 & 6. Program B will be soakers but where is zone 7 - 5,6,7 never display. Am I complicating this???
Make sure stations you want to water have run times. I would put stations 1,2,5, & 6 on program A and stations 3 & 7 on program B. Remember to zero out run times for stations 3, 4 & 7 on program A, and zero out run times for stations 1,2,4,5, & 6 on program B.
I have programmed programmed six stations on program 'A". Program 'B' and 'C' are OFF. When program 'A' runs it cycle it does not shut off it simply goes back to program 'A'. I want it to stop. Any suggestions?
You only need one start time on program A to water the six stations. One start time will water the six stations in sequence. I would check that you only have one start time on program A.
I have program A set to start at 5:30 am it comes on and runs through all zones but it starts over again with zone one and runs through all zones again? Any thoughts?
Check that you don't have multiple start times. Remember you only need one start time for all the zones on program A.
@@Iscaper I have the same problem but i only have one start time but it continues to cycle again
@@layleharmon5954 If you're on program A make sure you only have one start time for the program. Also check programs B & C and make sure they don't have start times on them.
We have only program A with run times. All other programs are off. System begins to cycle through program A a second time it completed the cycles once. How do I prevent this?
Check program A to see if you have multiple start times.
Does anyone know why my Hunter SRC Plus waters on days it's not programmed for?
Make sure there aren't start times on other programs.
I can manually turn the valve on at the solenoid and my system runs. When I try and manually run a station at the box, I hear a noise from the back pressure valve, the sprinklers attempt to turn on for a split second and then turn off (box then quickly switches back to current time). I can’t get a good reading at the controller with my multimeter when I try this. What am I missing?
If you're on program A make sure the station in question has time on the "Station Run Time", or when you turn the dial to Manual - Single Station that you add time there for the station in question before turning the dial to Auto.
iScaper1 I set have it set to 12 minutes.
Can you water the other stations manually? If yes, I wonder if you have a short on the station in question that's kicking your timer off. Try disconnecting the wires at the valve and do either a voltage test or continuity test with you multi-meter.
@@deerhunt799 i know this is a 3 year old comment, but how did you fix this? I'm currently stuck with this same issue
@@SteveGerben69 the control box ended up being the issue. I had to replace it.
I see 8 cords plugged in...doesn’t that mean there are 8 zones/stations/sprinkler heads?
I have six stations and when I do a manual check of each one, only station 6 works. Can you help?
Did you put time on the stations you want to manually water? This is the info from the manual:
Manually Run a Single Station
1. Turn dial to the MANUAL SINGLE STATION position.
2. Station run time will flash in the display. Use the Next button to move to the next station. You may use the Plus or Minus button to select the amount of time for a station to water.
3. Turn the dial clockwise to the RUN position to run the station (only the designated station will water, then the controller will return to automatic mode with no change in the previously set program).
@@Iscaper Thank you for responding!! I will try this today.
For some reason, I can't get one of my stations to stop running. Please help.
Sounds like a sprinkler valve that won't close. Check the valve for rocks or debris.
my hunter ec keeps on repeating the spray times every thirty minutes ,what did i do wrong
Looks like the timer has 3 programs: A, B, & C, and 4 start times for each program. If you're using program A, check that you only have one start time for that program unless you want to water multiple times during the day. Remember the program will water each station (sprinkler valve) with time on it in sequence, you don't need a start time for each station (sprinkler valve). I would also check that programs B & C don't have start times on them.
Hello can someone tell me the app that would help me control my sprinkler on my phone?
Rain Bird has a few wifi timers you can control with the Rain Bird app on your smartphone.
Well done and thank you for the wonderful video. Quick question - If I manually start by turning the knot to "RUN" and hold the right arrow button for two seconds, the system works as required and cycles through all 9 stations. My question - will the system stop watering after all stations are complete and the cycle is finished? Or, do I have to manually turn the dial to "OFF" to stop another cycle from starting. I started a manual watering last night and a full cycle is three hours...I think it watered the lawn three times and didn't automatically stop. Any insights?
The timer should revert to program watering after watering a manual cycle. You don't need to turn the dial OFF. I would check if you have additional start times on the program you're using. Remember you only need one start time to water all stations in sequence on a program as long as you have Run Times on the stations. I hope this helps.
How do you turn off programs b and c
Just make sure there are no start times on those programs.
My Hunter SRC always splashing Lo AC however I change any new batteries. Can anyone help me, please?
You might want to test the output from transformer.
iScaper1 Thank you so much!
How do you turn off system B AND C?
Easiest way is to turn off start times for those programs.
Is been very hard tu clean o clear the memory
How to close the B? I don't know which one can turn it off, I just want to use A
Eliminate the start times for program B:
Go to program B and with the dial set to the SET PROGRAM START TIMES position, push the Plus or Minus button until you reach 12:00 AM (Midnight). From here push the Minus button once to reach the OFF position. Press the Forward button to check if there are additional start times on program B.
@@Iscaper thank you
I have the same timer
My sprinklers keep going on through three or four cycles until I turn them off manually do you know what the problem is?
Check the program to see if you have multiple start times.
Yes.I do. I thought I had to put a new time in for every section. For example 6 o'clock, 605, 610, 615
I hope this solves my problem. thank you so much I appreciate your reply
Jenny Cabral
One start time will water all the stations on that program in sequence.
how to reset program to off?
Easiest way is to turn start times to OFF on the program. You can also set station run times in the program to zero and/or turn the watering days OFF. Either one of these steps will keep the program from watering.
I'm getting errors on every station...
sprinklers start briefly and then stop...
any ideas????
This if from the troubleshooting section in the manual:
Problem: The display reads “ERR”.
Causes: Electrical noise is entering the system. Check the SmartPort® wiring harness. Solutions: If the wires were extended then they will need to be replaced with shielded cable. Contact your local distributor for information on shielded cable.
If there is a number before the ERR like 2 ERR, then there is a fault with the wire leading
to that station.
I know you did this video 5 years ago but I'm hoping this message gets to you. How can I program it to water twice a day?

2. The factory preset is set on program A. If necessary, you can select program B or C by
pressing the PRG button.

I’m confused about everything how come when I start my system it only waters the front yard but not the back yard
If you are on program A check that each station you want to water has a run time. Here's the instructions from the manual:
Setting Station Run Times (Length of Watering for Each Area)
1. Turn the dial to the SET STATION RUN TIMES position.

4. Press the Next button to advance to the next station.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each station.
6. You can set station run times anywhere from 0 to 99 minutes.
7. You can move between programs while staying on the same station. However, it is recommended that one program is completed before going on to the next program.
iScaper1 thank you I’ll reply if I have anymore troubles
@@mr_blackbeans123 Good luck.
How do you set just for EVEN days?
This information is from the manual:
1. Turn the dial to SET DAYS TO WATER.
2. The display will show the last program selected (A, B, or C). You can switch to another program by pressing the PRG button.
3. The controller will display currently programmed active day schedule information. This dial position provides different watering options: choose to water on specific days of the week, or choose to water only on odd days or even days. Each program can operate using only one type of water day option.
Selecting Odd or Even Days:
This feature will use a numbered day of the month for watering instead of specific days of the week (Odd days 1st, 3rd, 5th, etc.; Even days 2nd, 4th, 6th, etc.)
1. Press the Next button until the arrow cursor is above either EVEN or ODD on the display.
2. Press the Plus button to select or the Minus button to cancel either Odd Days or Even Days. The previous selected days of the week will revert to active if Odd Days or Even Days is cancelled.
3. Turn the dial to Run.
@@Iscaper Thank you very much for the clear & detailed instructions. I think I did exactly what you described here and set the indicator to EVEN. I have the sprinkler set to start at 3 AM and actually stayed up to see if it would go on, but it didn't. So I need to double check if I forgot something or did something wrong. Hopefully I'll get it right this time. 👍🏻
@@MrVegiita Make sure you have a start time programmed in and station run times for the valves. I would try a start time during the day to test it on an even day then you wouldn't have to stay up all night to check it. When you confirm it's working you can change your start time to 3am.
@@Iscaper ok, will do that. Thank you.
My run button reads off. How do I fix it?
Hmm, maybe try wiggling the dial back and forth to see if the time will display.
how to delete the programs not needed?
On the program you DON'T want to water the easiest way is to:
1. With the dial set to the SET PROGRAM START TIMES position, push the Plus or Minus button until you reach 12:00 AM (Midnight). From here push the Minus button once to reach the OFF position. Do this step on all Start Times. You can also:
2. Set all Station Run Times to zero on the program.
3. Turn OFF all Water Days on the program.
my display says no ac. what does that mean?
No power to the timer. I would check that the outlet supplying the timer has power and if it does I would check the power output of the transformer.
I can’t even open the bottom compartment door 😞
Everytime I try to press pm it says off
Are you trying to program the clock or a start time? If it's the clock:

2. The current year will be flashing in the display: Use the + or - button to set the year. After setting the correct year, push the Next button to proceed to setting the month.

- button to set the month. Push the Next button to proceed to setting the day.
4. The day will be flashing: Use the + or - button to set the day of the month. (The day of the week is automatically indicated by an arrow in the bottom of display
pointing to the day.) Push the Next button to proceed to setting the time.
5. The time will be displayed, and an arrow will be flashing on AM. Press the + or - buttons to select AM, PM, or 24 HR. Press the Next button to proceed to setting the hours.
6. Hours will be flashing. Press the + or - button to change the hour shown on the display. Press the Next button to proceed to setting the minutes.
7. Minutes will be flashing. Use the + or - button to change the minutes shown on
the display. The date, day and time have now been set and the dial may be returned to the RUN position.
If you're setting Program Start Times:
Setting Program Start Times
1. Turn the dial to the SET PROGRAM START TIMES position.
2. The factory preset is set on program A. If necessary, you can select program B or C by pressing the PRG button.
3. Use the + or - button to change the start time. (The start times advance in 15 minute increments.) Hold either button down for 1 second to change times rapidly.
4. Press the Next button to select the next start time, or press PRG for the next program.
I don't quite understand the different programs...A, B and C
Programs on a timer are to accommodate different watering needs in your yard. For example: program A for the lawn zones, program B for the drip zones, and program C for a garden area. If you only have lawn zones you could put all of them on program A and not use the other programs.
@@Iscaper Thank you so much!
SRC...old news. Install and Evolution from Toro...
Hello,
I have followed all these step but when I manually turn on (like done in the video at the end) all stations I do not see water coming out of the sprinklers? However on the machine the running number is decreasing as well as going thru the different stations. How do I fix this? Please help, thank you
When you manually water all stations the timer doesn't water all the stations at once. You don't have the flow to do that. The timer will manually water each station on the program in sequence then return to program watering. I hope this makes sense.
