Great to see another DBV vlog pop up. Sorry to hear about the scam. I disagree with the down votes and the comments about it only being a small amount of money. Any rip off is wrong. I would guess the best way to be successful at stealing would be to steal a little from many people, not a lot from a couple. The fact that your vlog started by noting you guys always pay for your accommodations, no freebies, demonstrates how important every expenditure is to you. So, I agree, even a scam for a relatively small amount of money still hurts. On a lighter note, love your generousity, showing the building, reflecting on your personal chef, showcasing the bar, restaurant and the neighborhood. You both always capture the feel of a place, not just the highlights. Appreciate you both.
DDIII3 really glad to hear this comment!!! I completely agree with you, it’s about the person actually ripping you off and feeling okay about it, not the amount of money we lost. Anyways, yes this place was gorgeous!! We loved it there and it felt like home 😊 Hope you have a great week!

that’s a real bummer when that happened to you, i know the feeling. but as you were saying this is happening in most part of asia unfortunately & india you’d find more so, it’s a real shame! i’ve stopped nearly 6 months travelling around india, i could give you a list full on how to avoid been scammed over there. you just need to be more vigilant if in doubt. ask the local advices ie staffs at the hotel or someone you may know, it’ll give you a rough guide of their charges/prices. but don’t let that put you both off, there are many genuinely kind people & great things of je ne sais quoi. india is one of the kind, expect the unexpected. i truely love it! enjoy your vlog always, safe travels.

Great to see the RAW video, you two! I've been busy getting ready for my trip happening in two weeks, and was working for a couple of months so I need to catch up on some of your previous videos. Now you have me wondering about dental work! I have been looking in to implants, I need two, and I found a place near Bui Vien St in Saigon that did them for cheaper than anywhere else I have been to. Looks like I might have to rethink that, and check into India. Vietnam does an implant for about $1,400 last time I was there...and I am going to look into it again on this upcoming trip. If you are getting three root canals and three crowns for a grand, maybe I better look into India! Thanks for that bit of information. It's sad about the scams that we all run into. I have gotten scammed a couple of times, one was an elaborate scam about playing blackjack on a cruise ship from a couple of Filipinos in Bangkok. One of them claimed to be a dealer on a ship off the shore of Phuket, and was retiring...long story short, my wife was calling me from the US, talked to them on the phone while I was at their house in her dialect and told me I was getting scammed, which I had already presumed anyway. It was just as you said, one of the Filipinos came up to me the day before and asked me where I was from, blah blah blah, found out I was married to a Filipina and then wanted to know if I would come over and meet his family. Sad how you can't just take a lot of people at their word.
Jay Dollarhide so exited to hear about your upcoming trip!!! Really looking forward to hearing about it. And yes it’s sad that people from any country can be out to get you. I would expect it from Filipinos!

I did take your advice and am going to Malaysia to check out Kuala Lumpur for a week. I am going to head to Batu Caves, I just hope I don't get bit by a monkey, lol. I am going to hit up some of the other places you two went, too.
So many upmarket areas in Delhi, Sunder Nagar or Golf Links or Jorbagh, Shanti Niketan, Chankayapuri are great upmarket areas which are still central. South Delhi has great areas like GK, Defence Colony, Hauz Khas, Pancheel Park & Pancheel Enclave, Vasant Vihar etc which have great local markets and restaurants. You then have your farmhouse areas like Rajokri, Asola, Westend Greens etc which are further out but very quiet & green. Then you have the satelite cities like Gurgaon, Noida and Greater Noida etc. DELHI has everything

I pay 399 rupees for 1.5gb 4G data per day for 1 month in my phone and I pay 800 rupees for 120mbps unlimited data each month for my broadband, data is this much cheap in India. 20usd is too much for data in India. I'm an Indian and every people you are talking with is not a scammer. Because of your purpose of travelling you need to deal with those people, if you have a local guy with you then you will never be scammed. Peoples like taxi drivers or travel agencies or hotel managers will try to take extra money from you, and it is not exclusive to white people, same happens with our own Indian people too. Suppose you are from another part of India and you don't know the local language of the area you are travelling (As you know India is a diverse country with tons of local languages) , there is a possibility you got scammed. It is not like a big real shitty scam or something like that but local businessmen will try to charge you extra for everything. And never be scared in India if you think your'e being followed, you turn around and make yourself looks very much confident, no one gonna do anything to you, it works, just make yourself look that you know everything around you. But be careful from few spoiled rich kid in delhi, they are the one who do dirty things if given opportunity, because they know that their dads are some powerful man ( may be politician ) and save them if they do some worst possible things.
I would say the scam things are more common only in few major cities, the experience would be much different in rest of the places..but you guys looks beautiful together, great chemistry. Much love!
The localities that you show in GK, etc are present in all major cities of India. I have myself done dental care both in the US and UK, and as long as you have insurance, the co-pay always works out to what you pay overall in India. I don't think that is not affordable with your 'western' income.
U make a perfect couple...I love ur channel..I m so sorry for all the troubles..I will suggest u going to ATM and while traveling on autorickshaw just be aware becoz most of scammers are there...now u have Sims(data) I think it will save you from a lots of trouble..and try to user OLA/uber while traveling..
16:40 That's how it is. Just like in Bangkok, the best way to get help maybe just asking random white collar/student on the street. They might not be the tourism expert but they will give you a honest help.

DDIII3 really glad to hear this comment!!! I completely agree with you, it’s about the person actually ripping you off and feeling okay about it, not the amount of money we lost. Because it wasn’t that much. We are just upset when people look at us as an opportunity because we try to always be kind and we would never take advantage of anyone!
Anyways, yes this place was gorgeous!! We loved it there and it felt like home 😊 Hope you have a great week!
Thanks man! Not really worried about the scam. It was only a few bucks. It’s just sad that this type of thing happens so often on this side of the world. You really don’t know who to trust. But we thought sharing the story would maybe help others who visit. Either way, it was still a great visit and we enjoyed our time at the AirB&B 😊
@@DeathByVlog please google everytime before you pay to an unauthorized person ,even indians like us get scammed ourselves ,google will save you always
The dislike was for generalising things... Like Saying everyone who walks up to you has a bad intention or saying everyone looks at White people as walking ATM.. That's not true at all...
There is a lot of difference in being kind and stupid... Not asking for the receipt is not kindness it's stupidity(under normal circumstances)... Not checking for the prices online was ignorance.
@@staciasleight3369 you can register complaint on 12118 and drop a mail at 121@in.airtel.Com...
When I switched from Vodafone to Airtel the plan that was promised was not activated by the executive who sold the SIM and on visiting the Airtel store they said such plan does not exist... It took me around a month and constant follow-ups to get things in place..
When you pay high money ask for the bill. If they don't provide a bill. It's a scam. As simple as that.
How can we proud to be an indian with these type of people.
How much do you pay for that place? Not sure if you mentioned it.
She mentioned and said $60 for full house + personal cook /day
But you can find a good apartment in that area for $20-$30 /day
And hotel room in main area around $15....
@@hemasingh8033 cool thanks. I missed that!
Please visit Kerala❤! God's own country🌴. The place were nature s melted with soil
Kerala is sooo beautiful!
@@SallyAndEd yes it s
Wah Kerala country h?? Illiteratracy on peak..
that’s a real bummer when that happened to you, i know the feeling. but as you were saying this is happening in most part of asia unfortunately & india you’d find more so, it’s a real shame!
i’ve stopped nearly 6 months travelling around india, i could give you a list full on how to avoid been scammed over there. you just need to be more vigilant if in doubt. ask the local advices ie staffs at the hotel or someone you may know, it’ll give you a rough guide of their charges/prices.
but don’t let that put you both off, there are many genuinely kind people & great things of je ne sais quoi. india is one of the kind, expect the unexpected. i truely love it!
enjoy your vlog always, safe travels.
You got scammed it's only 3$ for 1.5 gb data daily plan with free calling for a month.. For 1400 you Coulwget the same plan for 1 year
I think you guys are the only excursionist who shows us the ravishing and exquisite sites of Delhi
Thank You...really loved your vlogs
You chose to buy handicrafts, leather bags, rugs instead of buying cheap quality products
One tip - Always ask for receipt before paying to "anyone".
DBV fans from Banglore. Help these guys out. Get that airtel guy to pay for his deed.
watching this in lock down, thank you for visiting my country. you both are so humble and kind
Sorry for what you guys going through.. but the video was awesome.. do more raw.. cheers..
Udul Kanchana Jayasinghe glad you liked the raw vlogs!!! We think it’s a good way for you guys to get to “hang out” with us a little bit more 😊 That’s okay about the SIM, it’s not a lot of money but just unfortunate that someone saw us as a walking opportunity
Thanks! It wasn’t a big deal. But it’s sad that people take advantage of others like that. Especially tourists visiting the country which helps boost the economy. And don’t worry, more videos and RAW vlogs coming 👍🏻
Really glad to see this comment. I am becoming big fan of you guys since I suddenly see Sri lanka video. You guys rock.
@@staciasleight3369, thanks...yes it's going to be fun! Four months in SE Asia, but I wish I was like you and Ryan, living over there...but that will happen soon enough! I am going to be trying to make plenty of time to watch your videos on India as I would like to get there in the next couple of years. I did take your advice and am going to Malaysia to check out Kuala Lumpur for a week. I am going to head to Batu Caves, I just hope I don't get bit by a monkey, lol. I am going to hit up some of the other places you two went, too.
Proof: Ask them to check the CCTV footage of that particular day in that particular Airtel Gallery... You should get your hard earned money back....
Advice: Always ask any person from public in india before purchasing anything.
Finally I got to see you guys again ...yay....and I must say you guys had a wonderful time at Arman the green (beautiful place). And and I m really for the scam but I m sure your video will help other tourists
Hey girl!! 😊 yes, that’s exactly why we wanted to share this. So hopefully it will help some other travelers like our Bangkok video has 👍🏻
Did you pay the crook inside the store or outside. All stores are under surveillance so it can be proven easily
Greetings!Heading to India in November ....I was reading about Trabug, a service that rents you a 4G cell phone - really reasonably priced, delivered to you, drop off almost anywhere...Have you heard anything about this?Kinda concerned about finding a SIM card and being connected gi9ven the fact that I plan on using airbnb and Uber for my 2 week tour.Just curious - Jeff from Montana
damn... its a shame scammers like those exists.... be careful guys but please dont be judgemental...not everyone tat comes up to u n be nice is a scammer.. i wud invite u home for dinner if i cud bt tat dsnt mean i want ur money😅😅 jus saying😊❤
You can get 1 year data in 20 dollars in India ..
It supposed to be like guests are like God's in our India's culture as we learned in primary schools. But because of some desperate people i feel ashamed. And one more thing to Tasha is please "do not" go out alone at night. And stay blessed guys.
Why you guys were living in such dense place ..couldn't you find hotel in canaut place ?
i saw your Sri Lankan series; hope you gonna come again to do another video about more locations. Luv from SL.
I am from Bangalore and I myself have been scammed by airtel a lot of times. Now I have switched to jio which has better network, data at cheaper prices than airtel
always ask for invoice or notification on your mobile.
Visit ladakh or himachal

Thanks for being a part of the DBVfam for so long. We really appreciate you! Maybe one day we will grow bigger. But for now it’s just fun making videos and chatting with all you guys 😊❤️👍🏻
Did they allow you to fly a drone in India? I heard they dont allow foreigners to bring a drone with them.
U guy's are so understanding...The best blogger I found..
Great video sorry to hear you guys got scammed! as tourist you try to experience the culture and enjoy meeting other people but in that process you run the risk of getting ripped off it's sad but true, americans are seen as dollars walking around ready to be plucked.
Really sorry to hear about the scam. You should definitely contact Airtel and get that person fired because usually we Indians are not like that, we believe the guest is a god and also happy to know that you guys had pretty good times in India 😊
Was waiting for the video 👏you both are awesome 🤘
Report for sure, they needs to be punished. Dont leave them, its my humble request 🙌🏻
I like these 2 for once no dramas and the good truth.
Great to see you guys again but a pity about the scam news .Just back today from my travels in Asia ,so need to catch up with your recent videos . Interesting info on the dental charges , so thanks for that . Have fun and stay safe .
Its depend on which state u go in india
Hi guys, sorry to hear you were scammed....happens a lot everywhere in the world. Happy though to see you're having a great time! Stacia looking as beautiful as ever 😍 love to see how happy she was after those cocktails 🍹😂 You guys stay safe and take care of each other! ❤
I saw your other vlogs being scammed from other countries you've visited? And you've been places in the Philippines, did you experienced any of the same incident?
It's unfortunate that u got scammed I personally don't like Airtel but as an Indian I feel bad for you...& I suggest you to take action against this scammers & don't let them go easily..plz do email or call at customer service of Airtel & explain the entire situation & next time whenever you are paying for any service & if u r doughtful about it do consult 2-3 times with local people before, most Indians are very helpful & friendly & won't scam I wish u get your money back & the Airtel guy gets fired from job.. have a safe journey..😍
You should definitely go to Goa and Palolem beach. I recommend the bar with accommodation on the beach Big Fish, the food is delicious.
Your blogs are nicely made and interesting to watch !!
*YOU TWO ARE LEARNING FAST.* FEEL FREE TO TRAVEL WITH US, we are fun but careful. We know you have been there, but we go mostly to the Philippines....twice a year. Be there again July. Thumbs up and been sub'd 4 awhile. :) Love your vids.
so where you stayed includes breakfast lunch n tea? if so then that cheap and what a beautiful place to stay
What happened to your issue with Airtel? Any update? I'd suggest you to contact them on Twitter if they haven't responded already.
Thank you so much for sharing the information about AIRBNB. My friends from America are visiting India in December and I shared the same information with them.
Superb video quality superb audio superb presentor gained new subscriber keep it up guys ❤👌
Have you guys been to Sri Lanka?
I am really sorry about Airtel trouble in Banglore, its ALWAYS good to shop around and being little more cautious isn't a bad idea. I myself just back to India from Vancouver after 20 some years but I am an India have lots of friends around.
Oh could you please tell me little bit about dentist you visit in Delhi ?
Indians were scammed by Airtel and Idea for the last whole decade... Till the baap jio made its entrance...😍😍
Hi there, hello! What's up? Where are you guys from?
Please download Airtel app.
You can browse through all the unlimited plans which is listed in a single tab. Take a screenshot while sending an email.
RS.199 is the cost for 1.5 GB data per day with 28 days validity + additional for sim cost.
I bought a new sim recently for my relative. First recharge comes around RS.297 with 28 days of validity. First recharge is always different from regular recharges. Just fyi.
Thanks for the info! We did download the app AFTER we got the sim. Next time we know what to do 😊
Jio is cheap than Airtel
You just got a subscriber..Thanks for revealing everything as what it is here.. Love from bangalore ❤️
These guys are so awesome. They are happy people spreading happiness. Thank you guys!
Guys - so close yet so far ! missed seeing you this time. Great Vlog ✋👊😛
So sorry it didn’t work out man! Next time for sure 😊👍🏻
You should put in an official complaint with Airtel. Can you identify where exactly in Bangalore the Airtel outlet was located?
white americans in india needs to be a TV show
🤣🤣😂
Atlst there is some one who is showing the real sign of India.. It's not all about the money, try to ask local people for right price☺☺
Damn. Really sorry guys! Hope you come once again India. Cheers!
I am sorry to hear about your bad scam experience and it is shameful to know that because of such negative people, India is not able to be a happy place for tourists. All I could say is whenever you are in Delhi or Bangalore, u can reach out to me and I will be happy to show you around to help you be safe of such miscreants. Sorry to both of you😟
Ah, no man. Sorry to hear this guys. India really is becoming known for scamming! So bad. We want to go there but really not keen to constantly be looking out for things like this🤨
Abol Tabol sounds like a good idea. It still sucks that you need to be on such alert all the time.
@@RhettandClaire India is Huuuge. You just don't have go around over crowded places like Old Delhi, you will find all type of people their and if believe everyone blindly then surely you will get scammed not just in India but anywhere in the world.
Come south guys, catch your plane to Bangalore, you will not regret
buddy when you come just get a permanent internet connection and just google everyting before you pay for it eg taxi fare, hotel fare etc there is a standard rate its gonna be fun
Have you ever heard a phrase which says "Many men many minds"..... and I guess you know the population of India..... anyways can give more details if you are interested... And don't worry "No charges" am not a guide or something related to. Contact me on instagram " gentle_mental_" ...... Bon Voyage. . . . . . ☺
Very sorry to hear about your bad experience!!
sorry to hear you got scammed, but nice to see you back again
Awesome video. Thanks for spreading the awareness guys!
Hope u had a great time in India except this one bad scam experience u faced? I love ur channel. God bless. Cheers
you both are great vloggers. subscribed
16:40 That's how it is. Just like in Bangkok, the best way to get help maybe just asking random white collar/student on the street.
They might not be the tourism expert but they will give you a honest help.
Did u get scam in Cambodia??
When are you coming to Singapore? We're nice and gentle. I'll give you a free day tour!
I think the tariff for people who are not a citizen of India is different some tax issue like that but still don't know whether it costs that high.
Sorry to hear that, it will cost only USD 3.5 to purchase a SIM in India with data(1.5GB per day ) and call.
It was m'y Birthday Today and Thanks guys, i'm going to celebrate there Tonight.
Also, you do get people who try to scam you a lot and ï really really apologize for your scamming expérience. Hope thé rest of your trip is pleasant and scam free. Cheerio
FYI: your vlog on mobile phone has ads as usual at beginning. However if I watch it on smart TV ( mine is Samsung) I never see any ads. Btw, we always watch it on TV.

Yeah, only pre-roll or mid-roll ads play on TV. But I don’t have those enabled 😊
