By far one of the best, current renditions of such an iconic masterpiece by the Zombies. Their version is an outstanding masterpiece of its own.
Seeing the sunlight through the pines, and hitting these psychedelic clothes, while listening to this masterpiece is mesmerizing.

I was only thirteen when the Zombies released this song. It's nice to see the classics being given new life for a younger generation to hear while us older folks get to reminisce. Awesome dress as well. Definitely era appropriate.

As a 61yr old guy with older siblings,
I was raised on music from the late 50's through the mid 90's, but
when I first heard singing Radiohead's "Creep" with Post Modern Jukebox, it knocked my socks off, then blew me away!
Her voice is so amazing no matter what she sings.

Even a casual listener can recognize Haley's unique style. She's pitch-perfect (a rarity these days), and she has control over the nuances in interpreting a lyric - even live. She has power when needed, and yet her laid back jazzy-bluesy tone is sublime. There are tons of good vocalists that lack in other areas, but Haley can do anything.

@TrustNone35 Well depends on the definition of superstar really, i think she is because she has the talent, if you mean by fans like for example Metallica making a concert for 1.5M people, then ofc she is not and no one now is, but comparing to young musicians of now i think she is in the same level, probably the lack of original music is what keeps her not very attractive to new fans, times also are shit for musicians now, for some reason rock the best of music that was king from 50-90 is now basically gone from the front page and now you only see pop and face tattoo rapers basically, so i guess people get what they want, good for her to not go that way just to get views.
I enjoy Haley as much as the next person. IT's not undeniable that she has a great voice. BUT SHE IS NOT A SUPERSTAR and I can tell you why.

They don't write their own songs. They sing other people's songs. Because being a singer isn't just being good at the notes, you have to be a composer of things that come out of your mouth. It's more personal that way. You can hear it when someone sings someone's rendition of the song compared to someone who owns the song. It's never like the original. Why? Because that song is someone else's experience and emotions and the authenticity touches the heart of those who listens. Music is a tool that bonds people that have never met who related to a pain or pleasure of their own experiences.
So TLDR: She isn't a superstar because she's a vocalist, and not a songwriter.
Started the 1st grade in Idyllwild in 1945. Came down from Alaska with grandmother just before end of war. Idyllwild looks great and so does this group!
This was recorded not long after The Cranston Fire, which was started near Idyllwild. Below the main banner you can almost make out a sign that says, "Thank you first responders."
I hope nobody minds me saying this is one of the sexiest versions of this song I have ever had the pleasure to see and hear.. I feel like I time warped to the 60's!
I met those two up in Idyllwild. Even hung with them for a bit of an afternoon. Both are super chill and quik to smile. Great time
