I may have missed it but how far away is freeway access?

It depends on where you are…part of Lake Forest borders the 5 Freeway. The are close to the mountains has access to the 241 Toll Road. To get to the 5 from this area, Foothill Ranch and Portola Hills, it would take about 20-25 minutes.

What is the average square footage for those single homes averaging 1.29 million?

That will depend on different factors. It will vary based on where it is within the community and what sort of upgrades have been done.

you video actually stated "the cons and pros" of lake forest and is misleading... Traffic a non-issue, especially if you are commuting north in the morning and south in the early afternoon. Wildfires are also a non-issue for the most of Lake Forest unless you live in the forest community with the eucalyptus trees. You mention foothill ranch which is not lake forest. Public transportation is also a non-issue, if you don't like the buses, you can UBER. Lastly affordability... actually Lake Forest is more affordable than its surrounding cities. Lower tax rate and no Mello-Roos. Lasty quick access to freeways 241, 133, and 5.

@firedwg1 Thanks for reaching out! I am sorry that you found this video "misleading". The intent of my videos is to provide someone who may be thinking of moving to the area pros and cons based on my opinion. Just because I say that I think traffic is a con, does not mean it would be a negative to the viewer. It is something for them to think about and if it is an issue for them, they may not want to live in that area. The same applies to all the other cons and, for that matter, the Pros as well.
The 241 & 133 are toll roads and that is why I consider it a Con. A lot of people do not like toll roads. The 5 is easily accessible from certain areas of Lake Forest, but if you are in the Foothill Ranch or Portola Hills communities, it can take you a bit of time to get there.
Although wildfires do not happen very often, there have been a couple of them close by in recent years.
You mention in your comment that Foothill Ranch is not Lake Forest. You may not realize this, but Foothill Ranch was annexed into Lake Forest in 2000 so has actually been part of the city for going on 24 years now. Portola Hills was also annexed into Lake Forest in 2000.
Again thanks for watching the video and taking time to comment!

Actually Foothill Ranch is part of Lake Forest as of 2000. Wildfires arent an issue unless you have a home on the very edge of the city facing the mountains. Another Pro is the low crime rate. I have lived in Lake Forest for 43 years and thankfully the city is pretty safe.
