It'll cost Indiana a lot to keep him after what he's done there this season. I don't know if they'll be willing to pay or be able to afford what it will cost to keep him there.

Also, what program that's gonna be looking for a new coach is a better destination right now, when he's already looking at a Big Ten that looks like it might be in a downswing for a couple of years? If OSU fires Ryan Day, I might worry about that. But I'm not worried about the dregs of the SEC snatching him up right now.

The people we ran met all through Indiana were always kind and courteous to us. Although kinda too flat for my tastes (as I am a hillbilly from TN) Indiana was very pretty. There is still a lot of season left to go, but right now there is only 1 PAC-12 team in the top 25. Granted, they’re #1, but still-I have a feeling most former PAC-12 schools will regret breaking up the conference long term (except maybe Oregon).

Not for 60 minutes. IU ran it at will to close that last 6 minutes. That was plenty of time to come back if they weren't too gassed, but they were. IU won the larger battle of attrition and the game with it.
It would be a nice return home for WVU. But, I don’t see Cignetti leaving this job, with its conference stability and resources, for the Big XII. I say this despite my respect for the culture and program at WVU. Morgantown would be a fun place to do great things.

Ponds just did his job and his eyes were up. It looked like he was very briefly surprised that the ball was right there to me. It wasn't a surprise that Ponds was since they disguise and send DBs with the best of them on a top ranked defense that deserves the ranking. On his second INT that was just outplaying the receiver and again he turned at the right time and that is eyes up with technique. People put in position to make big plays make big plays. Every last one of them make heads up plays all over the field or they just prevent the look from developing to start with. Even if it is legal to sign steal, I would say people being in the right position when they should be there in the schematic are why plays are made. You have to actually coach football for what I'm saying to make sense.
