    I’m amazed that you don’t attempt to pull against the trailer to make sure you are in fact locked securely before completing your hookup? In addition, their stacked this way so as not to exceed the legal height limit!

  • @missourioutlawonthemove9441
    @missourioutlawonthemove9441 3 роки тому +7

    It's to keep the height down, lower landing gear on 2 trailer levels it out. Should have something under feet so it doesn't scratch trailer floor and it also helps it from walking.

    That was so cool. Love seeing this different stuff that I’d never gotten to see before.

    The reason why they stagger the trailers with the landing gears down is not because it will be going up Hill is because they can't be over height

    WHAT A WAIT OF TIME AND MONEY!! I've stacked an unstacked trailers just like that many times, using an equipment ramp, all by myself!! No forks lifts, No extra drivers, No extra helpers!! I could pull in, stack 3 trailers, strap them down, an be out of the yard in an hour!! All in the know how!!

      SD. Your missing their point; YT is all about drama. If you videoed your way, whoed watch? What would be even neeter, is a truckstop cowboy with his chain drive wallet, his ten gallon hat and don’t forget the belt buckle, always driving with the jake brake on. Boy!!id 💰 pay to see that 😂 lol

    I use to work in the yard at a trucking company and I would throw chains on the top trailer and tie it down before lifting it up on the transport trailer. 4cross chains pre trailer. Then three straps over both trailers and those aren’t going anywhere. Easier then climbing up on the third trailer and doing it plus it’s much safer !! You can have as much over hang in the front of Trailer as you want just make sure you can turn without hitting the cab. It’s the back over hang and sides you have to worry about ! I am surprised they don’t have a fork lift that can handle two trailers at once.

    Stacking them opposite to each other is also more stable and you Possition the landing gear to lower where a cross frame is on the bottom trailer. So you don't damage decks. Cross chain and haul. We would stack trailers from pipe stringing in Northern Canada for 50 years. Part of real world hauling

    What's up with all the Coronado cabs on the ground in the background and what about the 3 black matching Century's parked at the entrance to the trailer yard?
    Possible video ideas:
    A tour of the facility/yard(s)
    Videos on used trucks/trailers that are for sale.

    At my work we use dual 5T overheads to stack empties going between branches..... that means somebody gets to climb up to hook/unhook the chains. even though the trainers are stable at rest, its still creepy feeling.

    There is a way easier way to stack flatbed trailers. We had outside loading dock where we back a trailer into dock. Then back a trailer on to that trailer, now you have a 2 stack. Pull them out of dock and back your 3rd trailer into dock. Then back your 2 stack onto 3rd trailer in dock. Simple and safer than lifting trailers by forklifts.

    Another set of death traps on there way.
    I honestly can not believe you put i Beams tubes ect on a trailer with no head board.
    Accident or an emergency stop and the loads in the cab with you, or is that why you have 140 inch sleeper pods and stretch frame tractor units so it stops before the driver.

    if y'all build a simple ramp, this could be done without forklifts. back one trailer to the ramp. Back one onto the ramp push it on the first one, then pull that one on the ramp and back it on the 3rd trailer. Voila! no forklifts needed.
