Morning Colin / grandad 😂 nice ride out mate, cracking afternoon yesterday, we got out in the camper for the day walking the dog, going for a ride today though, still procrastinating over getting another bike mainly because as soon as I get out on the classic all the reasons I tell myself why I need to change go out the window, couple of mates have said don’t get rid of your 350 you will regret it, perhaps I already have all the bike I need, 50 years 8 months n several days of looking 🤣 to be honest mate we ride the same, on the same sort of roads, is there really a need for something els ! OF COURSE THERE IS 😂 as soon as you walk in the dealership 🤣🤣🤣🤣 enjoy your visit with your new granddaughter mate catch yer later …. Pete 🇫🇷
1st, congrats on your new granddaughter. I found your channel while trying to find good content of the Himalayan. I then found I enjoy watching all your content. While the Himalayan is my favorite bike in my 50 yrs. of riding, to grow your channel, I understand your need to choose a bike that people are interested in learning more about. A tough choice with all that Royal Enfield has to offer.
Morning Dan and thank you, I love my Himalayan it's a bike that for me is one of a kind, I love royal Enfield bikes, I suppose it reminds me of my much younger days, I must admit I'm struggling to decide, but there's no rush, thank you for watching, take care....... Colin 😊
Firstly Colin. Congratulations 🎉❤🎉. It’s your video, so you do what you think is best. I do like the odd picture of yourself,as riding. But, I can’t speak, as I got no idea, as how to transfer the video from the camera, to edit etc. So, I will remain basic, and just use my phone😂. Oh we got blue skies, but workmen are working on the driveway so, tuff, I won’t be going out😂😂😂. I spotted a very low mileage MT 07 Yamaha, it’s been lowered, so Wee Mark, will drive the 2 hours to sit on it, to see how it feels. It’s got a few extras, but it’s basically a 22 model, on a 23 plate. 240 miles only. But it’s priced at £500 less than a new one😮. Anyway, best wishes, and best wishes to your new family member😊
Morning Mark, thank you, she's beautiful, must take after her grandad 😄, the Yamaha certainly seems worth a visit, good to hear the garden work is going well, looking forward to seeing the progress, I think I might just use the front camera, ......Colin ☺️
That stop sign is very strange , I reckon a rich farmer got it done 🤔 brown envelope time 🫢 great to see finally some good weather down your way .Himalayan is purring along nicely 👌
Hi Harry, I bet you're right, a back hander if I ever saw one, yes at last although be it a touch late we have the ☀️, I love the Himalayan, it's a pleasure to ride, thanks for watching.......... Colin ☺️
Congratulations to you on the birth of your new granddaughter. You don't get frost on the inside of windows anymore unless you still have single glazing and no form of central heating. I like the forward facing vlogs. The rearward may be of interest if you were off roading or travelling with a partner. 6:08
Thank you, I remember those cold nights and mornings back in the 60s when I was a kid, definitely no double glazing or Central heating in those days, thanks for your input on the camera, makes sense, thank you, ....... Colin ☺️
Yeah Paraffin heater in the hall warming the rooms upstairs and later the solid fuel back boiler and radiators. Hard times, good times. Really enjoyed that trip and the left mirror gave all the rear view needed, no offence!!
No offence taken 😂 it's great to get your views, we still use paraffin heaters here in France, a touch more modern 😂, but to be fair the winters aren't that bad, ........ Colin ☺️
Morning Colin your summing up of buying a new bike was spot on especially the first few months of ownership of a RE comes with mixed emotions, but as time passes I love the way my classic performs, it’s only the top speed that I feel is wanting, so I start looking and wondering what else can I have, then I go out on the classic and the speed thing is not a issue, which means I procrastinate which is something in respect of bikes I never did, “liked it buy it”used to be a rule thumb that’s how you end up with a garage full of bikes n scooters. Have I possibly found all the bike I need in the 350 classic 😳 after 50 years 8 month and a few days of trying 😂😂😂😂 your rides and mine are the same with the occasional longer trip do I need something faster ! Have I grown up at last ? 🤣. Snap so did I, all our family holidays were in Cornwall polzeath being one of our fav destinations, we would all pile in our commer van and dad would drive all night from London, good days, Sarah and I both remember pulling the net curtain off the frost on the inside of the window 🤣 a simpler time and fun time. …. Pete🇫🇷
Morning Pete, I'm in full agreement of everything you say, we seem to have a lot in common as we've passed through our lives, I spent so many great summers in Cornwall especially 1976, what a roaster, your classic is a real eye catcher, and you have the camper, enjoy life to it's full, but never stop the dreams 🥰, ....... Colin ☺️
