By the way, I noticed your mixing bowl moves around quite a bit on the mixer, to stop that from happening, just push the back of the bowl down and it snaps into place and holds everything sturdy.

This is also my favorite pie. The only thing this video needed was some bloopers at the end or perhaps an entire video of bloopers. Joanna you laugh is contagious.
I am so thankful for this video! I must have an older version of the recipe because it says to fold in the chocolate mixture (I assumed to the cream mixture because it was in the same paragraph as the cream mixture) not to the butter mixture like she demonstrates here. It also leaves out mixing it for 5 minutes then adding it to the cream mixture. Possibly common sense for some but for this “green” gal, I clearly needed help lol.. needless to say, my pie turned out soupy. Still tasted amazing and ended up making another. Second time around went MUCH better. So thank you for making this vid and helping out this very new French Silk baker ❤️😁

PSA: I just made it and it is SUPER easy! only thing that was "difficult" was stirring the eggs with sugar because I didn't know where my thermometer was so I had to eye ball it but it was still AMAZING!
