Jeff Kehoe and I co-wrote and recorded both Railroad Drag and Dog Catcher back in around 1963. Jeff is one of the finest drummers I have ever performed with. Thanks for all the interest in the Jaguars! Jim Ruchti
We wrote this in my basement, recorded it in Chicago as the B-side of another song when we were 16 at Sound Studios Inc. but never got more than 100 sales. NOW it's a UA-cam hit!
Jim's in a nursing home now but getting better, and our song "Railroad Drag" will live on! GUARANTEED.
Jim is doing well & so am I. We are the Jaguars.
"I remember everything on that horrible date...I pulled out in time, but he stayed there too late."
What a second-life our song from 50 years ago has had, albeit on UA-cam.

It's our one & only hit...covered by other bands, etc. We wrote this at 16 !!!
Time passes on, our music remains...isn't that worthwhile?
Hope you liked it...we were just 16 years old when we wrote this, and it still stands up!
GREAT ROCKER
I co-wrote it,,,
Going to see my ol' friend, now in assisted living, out in DeKalb, IL and I'll let you know what that meeting was like...ok?
Am so glad I got to visit with Jim, and was like 40 years just melted away, old times well remembered!
Well, Jim didn't make it! Lost him to complications from COVID on Sept. 1, and sadness now!
is it true there is only one origina lcopy of this record anywhere? it's a true classic
