Why, I’m related to Franciscans and they are the ones who truly live the gospel. They welcome everyone, gay, straight, black or white and treat them with nothing less than love and respect. They believe in common sense, they listen to science, they care about the planet. They don’t judge or spew hateful trash out of their mouths like this character or like some far right conservative clergy who lean on ideology and not faith. A Franciscan pope would do us some good. We humans have made the Catholic church so complicated with all these rules like who can marry who and so on and it doesn’t have to be that way.
