So I love working, as I work painting, and a few years back I realized I was a workaholic that didn't enjoy time "off" as I felt I was "loosing my time"
This are the things I ask myself over and over again, to check in with myself, to never forget why I do what I do, to keep on falling in love with nature and love, it's funny how actually re-connecting with both our inner and outer worlds really makes us vibe in the right way, and we end up attracting more of all the good stuff to out lives, which includes working with alignment to our truest selves.

I recently started walking behind my house. It's basically a forest that I have never appreciated for the 3 years I've been here until recently. I saw a flock of beautiful birds fly right over my head for what seemed like minutes without stopping, I saw this insanely vivid cluster of neon orange mushrooms, and what looks like large ferns growing at the base of trees. I also scared a few deer that I normally see in my backyard but it was all so beautiful. I would have missed all of it had I not started walking in my little forest 💓 im SO grateful I get to experience nature right outside my door.

I recently woke up and I was happy to answer most of those with yesterday or today. My lifestyle changed recently but even so I'm still noticing the small things that make me happy, for example birds chirping. Yesterday while I was at work I saw a huge stork flying from the city towards the nearby hills and even though I know my boss wouldn't be happy to see me standing there staring at a stork I did just that. I wouldn't trade that magnificent, magical moment just to get my work done faster. Another thing I love doin recently is before sleep I make a cup of tea and go read in bed and since I am physically exhausted from work sitting on my bed and looking at my legs resting feels amazing. It makes me realize how grateful I am for having them so I take some time to let those feelings run trough me before reading.

7 months into covid 19...my family has been at home together, 24 7, the whole time...i often lose hope. I grieve for all the things, the time, the affection, the touching the PEOPLE so many others have lost...i haven't felt safe for 7 months, nor has my little girl. But this has given me a window into so.ething like Grace. Thank YOU so much, this will be my daily reminder to look and feel beyond this catastrophe.
I am feeling so lost, I put too much pressure on myself as an artist to be creative every second of every day... But I needed this reminder, that I deserve time to rest and just have gratitude for my small piece of this wonderful world. This brought me to tears, a cleansing cry I needed desperately... I've been acting in negative patterns of thinking and living at the same time that I blame myself for them and feel all this guilt in a moment when actually, a lot of good stuff is happening to me. It's so important for all those, myself included, who have their energy drained by everything around, to remember that we have to disconnect to connect. Thank you so much.
