Another wonderful post. Sometimes we pray for a lottery win or a job that pays lots and lots of money but I believe Jesus provides us what we need. We still need to strive because it's in the striving that we do our best work to help others as well as ourselves.

Your stories are just the way He is! Providing just enough just in time. I remember when I was a baby Believer I just loved reading His word and I'd be talking to Him about something and I could just hold the bible in my hand and let it just fall open and low and behold there would be the answer to exactly what I had asked about. But as my learning increased I'd let the bible fall open and it would be something not even closely related and I'd say "this makes NO sense" and I'd hear Him say but what have I already taught you about this? I'd remember myself what I'd learned and go to that place and there would be the answer to what I'd asked. It was His way to encourage me and to reinforce that I was learning His word through studying with Him daily and teaching me to be strong in His word. I really enjoy listening to your journey!

Thank you, Melody. Isn't that just the way we are with our kids too? "What did I already tell you? Then DO it! I love you!" Lol

Hi Bonnie. While we were in Gloucester, I did not work outside the home. I stayed home and pinched pennies and raised my children. I did some babysitting. I volunteered at our church, running a coffeehouse, Pioneer Girls, Sunday School, Women's Bible Study, etc. In my next video I will tell how something special happened to allow me to earn a little money from home while Mick was in college. Years later, After we moved to Maryland, I took legal and medical terminology and transcription courses, plus basic computer courses at our local community college, and started working from home as a legal and medical transcriptionist. I did that for 10 years, the last year in the hospital as the lead transcriptionist, doling out the work to the home transcriptionists, taking calls from the docs, flagging STAT reports, correcting errors, etc. I enjoyed that very much. I am now retired.

You had me tearing up multiple times with this video! Your stories are such a testimony to God’s work. I appreciate that you present these things with complete humility, in awe of God’s amazing provision, always right on His time. Even though those sound like very challenging times, I bet it delights your heart to reflect on how obviously He supplied all your needs, all the simplest needs. Thank you for encouraging me to reflect again on God’s provision in my own life!

oh this made me cry. but happy tears on how good God is. thank you for reminding me about the beauty of the Lord. Since it is written that the Lord is the same yesterday, today and forever. that he still answers prayers. I know he does and an on time God. Especially Wynn I let things go and have faith knowing he will. He's told me numerous times that even though you can't see me doesn't mean that he's not working. thank you Lord and gramma for paying the video.

Love hearing your life journey. Growing up my parents always stressed the importance of making wise choices. Sadly, these days we hear so many people who make poor choices say 'the Lord will provide'. Have made some mistakes and thankfully learned from the mistakes and not repeated them. We only had one child because that is all we could legally, morally and ethically afford, because he had medical issues from day one. By the way medical doctors are obligated by law to tell a woman of the alternatives per unplanned pregnancies. The fact the doctor patted your knee and said he was glad to hear you would continue the pregnancy suggests to me, that he was a good man.

Thank you, Beth. Yes, being called to live by faith is not the same as being irresponsible and going out on a limb assuming "the Lord will provide." It's a delicate relationship and sometimes we are called to step out boldly for a season, trusting "If God Calls Us To It, He Will Bring Us Through It. " By the world's standards, we made poor choices, but Mick would never have gone to college or become a teacher if we only did what made sense on paper. Seeking Wisdom is always a good thing, especially if we remember not to seek the counsel of the unGodly and we acknowledge God's ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. That being said, I also believe that even if we make unwise choices, the Lord will not forsake us. He may allow us to learn some hard lessons, but He will keep His hand on us to bring us back if we trust Him. We were not perfect parents and our kids weren't perfect kids. But we can now identify with the struggles of other parents and have empathy and encourage them. May you and yours be blessed, Beth.

Thank you for this latest edition! It's comforting to hear others' accounts of our Lord's provision. In spite of us, He lovingly cares for us. What a great Father, Saviour, & Friend!

You are welcome, Renee. I agree, "in spite of us" he cares.

I agree with another comment here, it is comforting to hear people talk about how the Lord provide many of His children in need. But I do feel the need to point out, providing is not necessary the same as actually give money or food or something like that.
I think the Lord provide to make it possible to become the person He wants you to be. And to live the life He wants you to live. That actually can mean NOT to give food or money or any ‘stuff’ you need to continue the status quo. If He wants you to change something it can be a signal for you if your current situation is really not sustainable.
So to the brothers and sisters who are really in need for financial of practical help. And who see examples like this video where the Lord does provide this types of need. And who perhaps wonder ‘does the Lord not love me? He don’t provide in my situation’.
For you I tried to explain this other side of provision of the Lord too. Yes the Lord will provide also in your situation, but He can do that by not give what you want. And by doing so make you move on to a different situation.

Good word, Deterugweg! While these early videos tell about the wonderful ways the Lord provided our needs while we were stepping out in faith, we also went through some very hard times later in our faith "Journey" when it was hard to see Him moving in our lives. Very deep hard situations that grieved us and challenged our faith in serious ways, almost to the point of dispair. I'll share as much as i can of those in the future vids, but I need to be sensitive to other family members when I relay those stories, so please pray for me to find the right words to convey that part of our Journey. Thank you for your insightful comment!

your witness has very much touched me. I thank you for sharing such intimate details of your life. as I said in a previous post, while our lives are very different, there are these strands woven from your life to mine that are quite similar. one thing that struck me was the doctor telling you that you had options regarding your pregnancy. I had a family member that made the same suggestion to me when I found out I was pregnant with my first child. it broke my heart and our relationship, and that is one of the things I have to this day struggled with forgiving.. Anyway, because of your faith story, and my longing for a solid relationship with Christ, i just rededicated my life to Him.. i am so happy to hear your wonderful love stories, both the vertical and horizontal ones between you and your husband, and between you and God . and they truly are among the most beautiful ones I've ever heard. praise His holy name.

I AM praising His Holy Name for YOU, lovejesus andusa! God bless you for letting me know my videos have had some impact on helping another. I feel very vunerable sometimes from putting these things out there, but knowing they help others is all the confirmation I need to be brave. May our Heavenly Father continue to bless you and yours!
