Lucky you, you got to fly on a *737* *Max* *8* , on Air Canada! Or 737-8(M) as written on the Safety Information Card. Funny, on Southwest, the safety card actually says “ 737 MAX 8 “. They’re really nice planes, nice interior, and a little more roomy and comfortable than the old 737s.
I could tell from your cockpit shot that it was the nose and engine of a 737, I just couldnt tell which 737 model.
Yup, LAX has four runways - 6L, 6R, 7L, 7R (or 24R, 24L, 25R, 25L in opposite direction). You guys took off from Runway 6R.
I like airplanes too, Chef! Love flying in/out of LAX.

If you got time, go to Bellevue, Washington. 2.25 hours south of Vancouver. My 2nd home.

While you’re in town should try Taishoken (inventor of the Tsukemen “dipping” ramen), Phnom Penh for the best (cambodian) chicken wings and Beef Luc Lac in town and/or Floata for an authentic dimsum experience downtown
Oh and ingat lang sa mga homeless, unfortunately medyo marami sila around town and better safe than sorry.

@@chefjpanglo too many to mention. All the shiu mai are delicious, shrimp dumpling is a must. Did you try the sticky rice?
Just to clarify, I was at the Richmond branch.
Another place you should go to (in GVA) is Neptune seafood restaurant. It's not that far from where you were.
Lastly, it's a lot cheaper to eat out in Richmond B.C. compared to the ones in Seattle. However if you want to try sim sum in Metro Seattle you must go to Din Tai Fung.I usually go the one in Bellevue, WA.
