Thanks Grant for covering a comparison that will not be covered by those mainstream youtuber. At the same time, you are ACTUALLY mentioning what is the chipset that you are reviewing. Double Thumbs up
You do the best camera comparisons, thank you from UK 🇬🇧 I have 6 Pro and no issues I love it, best camera in my opinion, and an amazing phone! 👍🏻🙂🇬🇧❤️ PS The 4X zoom on 6 Pro is amazing, who needs a macro mode, glad you featured that!
The most robust reviews I have seen so far. Keep up the low light dog portraits and main shots. Please also maintain all the dog shots. So that we can see the shutter speeds ❤️. Please also maintain the viewfinder clicks of the phones 😊😊😊. Keep up the good work brother. You deserve more
The outdoor video sequence at 0:37 the S22 blew out the sky and added a touch of the dreaded Samsung neon tinge to the left sky, always a pblm w Samsung in certain conditions. And I liked the Pixel sharpness and detail on a few of the stills, but it did go back and forth for me. Overall I'd take the pixel, but I could see others preferring the Samsung.
I'm not sure why he compared 60fps video vs 30fps video though, as generally 30fps video is higher quality at the expense of less fluidity. For a true comparison he should have set them the same.
Looks like he had it backwards look at the background blur of the pixel 6 pro the pixel doesn't have auto focus on the front camera also at the start look at the position of the phones the pixel is on the left and galaxy on the right but it's labeled opposite on the screen
Either way people get upset. I've done it at the same resolutions and frame rate, then people complain that I'm using the highest on each. Can't please everyone.
Definitely not backwards. The video of me recording at the beginning has the Pixel on YOUR left, but it's on MY right. Either way, it doesn't matter, video is labeled correctly.
It's amazing how much just lowering the exposure improves stabilization and sharpness in night video on Android smartphones. Samsung must stop with its 108 mp sensor, this 50 mp on the standard S22 is much better at night .
Thank you! Could you please let us see 100% crop of the low light photos in your reviews? That way we can see how much detail is kept in low light scenarios.
love your videos always accompanied by the show, I wish you could help me which smartphone to choose between the oneplus 9 Pro or mi 11 ultra or vivo x70 pro plus or iqooo 9 pro thank you very much
I like your review on both smartphone. I love Google pixel 6 pro, every pitchers looks standard and video stability handling are much better more than ❤❤😅😅 I m happy
Both good cameras but I see the pixel 6 winning. The shots are almost identical but the pixel does much better on the 20x optical and also a lot of the shots look a lot more natural than the s22.
Hey, Grant. Why does it say 4x digital on some of the flower shots when these are exactly the optical zoom capabilities of the two phones? I'm confused.
Because it's a one tap selection on the camera interface, so why not? It got the shot. Also, I'd rather not zoom further for macro shots like that anyway.
Overall pixel is great just not for portraits. The colors are too saturated and image is too sharp. Is there no beauty filter in pixel pro 6 to soften the skin texture?
I wonder if 1 phone will win in every department- camera wise. I know they are all trying. 😆❤️ I think I should have waited to upgrade my phone until next year. I have the S22 but I think next years will be even better. I'm loving the S22 however.
It's bit confused, google used to have one of the best potrait with pixel 1-3, that only have 1 single rear camera But now with new sensor, they need to create another "recipe"
Wow really surprised how good (if not better) that pixel 6 pro was compared to the S22 especially as its half the price. The s22 has better night video shots but using the pixel seems okay using manual change of exposure.
In pixel 6 as a pro grade is to much sharpness, which actually destroying natural look of image, and big minus to pixel 6 for weak RAW photos, only 8Mb vs Samsung RAWs 24 to 35 Mb which has better dynamic range and far more information in image usefully in postprocesing
Pretty neck and neck. The S22's wide is better, P6 wins on most other areas. Adjusting the exposure on the P6 is acceptable to get better lowlight video. I just wish there were a way to reduce the sharpening for portrait shots on the P6 series. I've noticed that using night mode for portraits sometimes improves the shot so I know it's possible for Google to do better with the sharpening of people's faces.
The only time i see the advantage of having larger sensor was at the lady bug photo, where Pixel 6 pro have strongel bokeh, but elsewhere they are so close together in their quality, and s22 has a better exposure than the so called glorious s22 ultra..... I think i will miss the true 12mp large sensor like imx555k... The cheaper GM2 on budget phone exibit wrong colour when taking photo of a tree at long distance (say example 20 feet), i see a lot of colour display between the leafes as if behind that tree was a big colourful poster....
Guys, watch out! S22 takes terrible photos! I don't know how you can achieve the quality shown here. But if you just take a photo by hand, you will never achieve this quality. Only in good light are they “ok”, but as soon as you shoot indoors, the pictures are blurry and out of focus. I am very disappointed.
Thanks Grant for covering a comparison that will not be covered by those mainstream youtuber. At the same time, you are ACTUALLY mentioning what is the chipset that you are reviewing. Double Thumbs up
I'm a happy pixel 6 pro user here 😊
Both were pretty close. I think I liked colors and the selfie audio better on the Samsung, but I like the Pixel overall.
close...lol
I still love my Pixel 6 Pro in all photography modes, except portrait mode which still needs improvements
@Mayank Joshi I do exactly the same, instead of portrait mode use 4x optical
0:36 notice the difference in dynamic range, the samsungs video is blown out. i was not expecting the pixel to be better here...impressed

@@GrantLikesTech no arguments here just my observation great video watch all you videos
The pixel 6 is better with de updates
The p6p is better in almost every situation, except when you took that zoomed phot of the moon. The Pixel really impressed there.
Portrait mode on Pixel 6 is fine until you use the 2X zoom..it wrecks the quality and edge detection.
It's amazing how much just lowering the exposure improves stabilization and sharpness in night video on Android smartphones.

Me too

I have the s22 plus and I'm amazed with the way it takes pictures
Both are equally good :D
Very true. I feel the S22 did better than most would expect.
love your videos always accompanied by the show, I wish you could help me which smartphone to choose between the oneplus 9 Pro or mi 11 ultra or vivo x70 pro plus or iqooo 9 pro thank you very much
What a great video. I like the camera app capturing
I love both systems but I have to go with Pixel 6 Pro here.
I like your review on both smartphone.
I love Google pixel 6 pro, every pitchers looks standard and video stability handling are much better more than ❤❤😅😅
I m happy
watch the video at 4K guys if u want a clean vision . and it helps u to decide .
The pixel's rear portrait mode is playing pin the blur on the background while wearing a blindfold.
PIXEL 6 PRO the best smartphone
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
Both good cameras but I see the pixel 6 winning. The shots are almost identical but the pixel does much better on the 20x optical and also a lot of the shots look a lot more natural than the s22.
How did you use 20x optical zoom in video mode?? I don't see any options there😢 i am getting only 7x maximum zoom
Hey, Grant. Why does it say 4x digital on some of the flower shots when these are exactly the optical zoom capabilities of the two phones? I'm confused.
Because at that range it's too close and defaults to digital zoom from the main sensor.
@@GrantLikesTech I get that, but why not do 3x or 4x on both in that case, since it's presumably all digital anyway? Or 5x?
Because it's a one tap selection on the camera interface, so why not? It got the shot. Also, I'd rather not zoom further for macro shots like that anyway.
I really like your camera comparison
Thanks
pixel 6 pro is definitely waaay better ....
Is this after updating the pixel to march update?
Portland, JAMAICA in The Building !!!!!!!!!!!
What is best lgv50 or lg v50s?
Still using my galaxy s10e and pixel 3 😉 🥰✌️
Nice vídeo! Keep it up
Thanks!

Actually i have pixel 4 and my gf have iPhone xs. Deserve the change to Pixel 6 pro? (ONLY thinking about video with front camera in low light)
I wouldn't upgrade just for the front camera.
Great vid thankue
You're welcome
Can you do Motorola Edge 30 pro review
Hi Grants, Thanks for all the comparisons. Is it possible to add a comment on each picture which one is the most close to the real colors? Thanks.
Pixel usually provides real colors
It's bit confused, google used to have one of the best potrait with pixel 1-3, that only have 1 single rear camera
But now with new sensor, they need to create another "recipe"
Im Happy , User S22 Here .
Deberías hacer las fotos en otros lugares ya
The s22 looks better than the s22 ultra you did vs pixel 6 pro
Why did the pixel look way better in the first video but then the Samsung looked way better in most of the others
Pixel 6 pro!!
Wow really surprised how good (if not better) that pixel 6 pro was compared to the S22 especially as its half the price. The s22 has better night video shots but using the pixel seems okay using manual change of exposure.
FYI, this is the standard S22 (not the Ultra). 😉
@@GrantLikesTech Oops, my fault for assuming so corrected. Still really impressed how good the Pixel 6 pics are though....cheers
Happy to see your "unpaid model" didnt age and still so professional 😂😂
😅
Pixel 🔥🔥

It is Samsung S22 ultra od ordinary S22?
I will always choose pixel 6pro overall
Damn pixel 6 pro camera does a real good job
audio seems better on the samsung... sorta important
Samsung s22 vs samsung s21 fe?
S22 wins comfortably here
Samsung’s post processing puts it above the iPhone 13 Pro as well
Samsung better overall just missing that periscope zoom
Nice compared
Thanks 🙂

@@GrantLikesTech corrected above. Glad to see the P6 compared to something in its price range. Thanks Grant!
Galaxy is on fire 🔥 😍
Pixel users, just don’t use portrait mode ever. Fake bokeh looks tacky anyway.
S22 or Vivo X70 pro for camera
Vivo is better just turn of seen optimizer will give u true to life colors
noooooooooo
s22 ultra kille vivo x 70 pro plus in camera...vivo makes you face toooooo bright
I'd personally take the X70 Pro+ since I think the video is actually better and it also take great photos. Low light it's probably still unmatched.
Always pixel 🥰✌️
#TeamPixel
On the video stabilization example I would go with the S22.

galaxy 🔥🔥
The Pixel overshapens, A LOT and it's not small either. Prefer the S22
I agree and this is quite noticeable but I prefer this to my eyes than the smoother S22
@@lisacoverdale6742 the s22 had detail in each pic and it wasn't an oversharpened mess.
To each their own for sure. Some seem to like the "sharpness" of the Pixel, some don't.
