I was in a chill mood, so I typed Trance in the search bar. Saw the results, rather unsatisfactory. So then I added "step". This became the first trancestep song I ever heard. And my god I fucking love it.
used to blast out this song while playing MW2... and ive come back to say that this song is still amazing and that kick is fucking devastating! (in the good way)
Thank you everyone for the positive comments. It's really good to know that music that I want to hear, therefore produced, is enjoyed by other people too. Respect to all the producers out ther trying to do something a little different! And of course massive respect to all the listeners out there. PS I'm currently creating a free CD album. Once it's completed I will send a digital copy to anyone that would like one. Just send me a message and I'll send it over to you.
@poakable Erm not to burst your bubble but, Trancestep is a sub-genre of DnB and Trance. Although it does share some elements with dubstep obviously, but unrelated.
To all the comments about this not being Trance Step, I would just like to point out that it's actually the title of the track, not the sub-genre that I felt it needed placing into. 'Trance Step' was just what it was called as it was being made (the working title). The only reason that the name stuck was because it was put on here by a friend before I named it and then I never saw the point in changing it.
Not sure, the track's a few years old now. I'd probably been actually making music that I enjoyed for about 3 years when I'd made this one. It's just a hobby though, I don't get as much time to produce as I would like. Wife and Son see to that :-D
Don't go with the masses and dislike a music because it is too mainstream. I have been listening to dubstep since 2000 and I have noticed it has become too mainstream and usually from artists like Skrillex who bought it into the American music scene which is about money. Artists like zookie monsta, rusko, shekel, p so many are still producing great dubstep
@SystemErrorRecords Yeah, what he said. Personally, I don't even like dubstep, but this track proper kills it. Nice job, mate. For what it's worth, I record under the name Silver Lining... which, as I found out several years into the deal, is also the name of some prog-rock band from the 90s that jams hard about elven fantasylands. 0__o -John
@AudioTerroristColdH I apologise if I have offended you in any way. The fact is, This track isn't supposed to be "Trance Step". That was a working title that just kind of stuck. It' the name of the song, not the genre it is supposed to fit in. I have n bad feelings for you, and genuinly wish you success in everything you do, I've followed you're 'hariii' link and seen you playing live, you have talent. I like what you do. But to say I sound pathetic for stating my position is a little childish.
Dude.. i did the exact same fucking thing. Dubstep is too mainstream and played now. and I always loved old school electronica all 27 years of my life. I hear trance all the time so i wanted to switch it up a bit.. so i put "step" after the end of "trance" .. im glad I did.. cause that opened a door thats been shut to me until now.
@littleritchie How do you know they haven't been brought to court or sued? I'm not saying you don't have a point, or that you're wrong. I'm just saying searching for something isn't hard proof.

nice work...needs a bassline half step break to set it off!
that was, as in the below comments, very good. how long had you been making music since you composed this piece?
@bbugger Since when is pitch a speed?
good shiz mate.

@bbugger I think it's amazing, perhaps he's purposefully not sticking to conventions?

this is pretty cool. needs to be heavyer on the wobble bass though. thats basicly all i like about dubstep.

Anyone who thinks Dubstep is mainstream ought to listen to Youngsta on Rinse.fm
I believe this trancestep was invented because dubstep sucked alone, but had some good ideas to it, applied with trance it rocks!
disagree with you on his best but he is awesome The Truth will always be my favorite of his
this is nice shit!!
