There’s not much to say about Don Andrés Iniesta that hasn’t already been said. The man is a living legend, and a joy to behold. Showing age is just a number, Andrés is at 33 still one of the finest players in the world, making a fool of the opponents and creating chances for his teammates on a consistent basis. His legs are getting tired and he’s struggling to go injury free for more than a month, but when he’s fit he makes Barca tick. May his career continue for a long time, and don’t ever take him for granted.

William Boyle yea they just have different styles Iniesta is better in terms of knowing where people are, Messi is has the best vision.
Even at the age of 33 his playing style is the same of him when he was in his 20s. He is a living legend and there isn't much to say about him. Just watch and the words will come to you! You think he is 33, he won't be at his best, but even at the AGE OF 33 this man had better peformances than some of the best players in the world. Don Andres Iniesta, a idol of mine and many others, it will hurt US AS FANS and Barcelona as a team after he retires!
Not only that, some say Denis and Alena are able to replace him, but lets me honest, this man is irreplaceable.
Its not hard to see that he is better than Zidane. Zizou was more marketable sure and had moments of magic. But The Don is just a better all round footballer. Unbelievable elegance. Like he is gliding. Hope he drops a masterclass at the BernaLeo as he always does. Awesome work man 👍😈

Pa Sa Iniesta has won much more with Barça and Spain than ZZ with RM and France, without him Spain wouldn't have won 2 eurocup and a world cup in a row. ZZ scored more goals, however as a player Iniesta is more skillfull at least for me.
You can appreciate both...2 completely different styles. Iniesta is my favorite player...ever...period (yes, over Messi, but favorite doesn't mean "better") That doesn't mean Zidane wasn't right up there with Iniesta...just 2 differing styles. Both are legends & among my top 5 to ever play midfield.

Nothing else but positive things to say about Don Andrés. Even if he was out for a week three times this season, he has been performing constantly well and generally seems to become better and better this season, the last performances were really good. He also played way more matches at this time of the season than he did last season, Valverde and him seem to be right to not risk anything and prevent bigger injuries such as the ones from last season by subbing him off or letting him rest one match. We'll need that usual world class performance against Real this week though, really hope he'll show them idiots who the best midfielder is.

He's the hub that every play goes through. Many times he doesn't get assist because he was the one to get the ball up the field and the pass that got Barca into position for the goal. Many times his is the 2nd to last pass. He's the engine that made their offense run. I'm gonna miss him.
