- You might remember Paige, a young girl who contacted us and shared a picture of her dressed up for a school Halloween party as a zombie Miss Violet.
Well Paige’s mum contacted us again with some lovely photos of Paige’s recent 16th birthday party. We were really touched when we saw the pictures. You see, Paige loves the dogs at the farm, especially Miss Violet, but all of them and the videos make her smile each day and the fact that these doggies like Chance are getting training and a second chance Paige most especially loves that. Paige made these beautiful posters about all the dogs at the farm and what we do here to inspire her friends and family for her birthday party as well as a box for them to contribute towards the farm instead of giving her presents. For Luke and I, this is truly special.
Ever since I heard I haven’t stopped thinking about what Paige did and the photos of the posters and the box. What a truly remarkable young person.
It’s hard to know what to say in thanks to someone doing something like this. Because Paige gets so much joy out of the videos, we thought we would do something a little different to say happy birthday Paige and of course thank you.
So a little fun in the trampoline Dru so kindly gave us and a whole lot of balls … which were gifted to us also for the puppies. Thank you, thank you.
There were a few surprises, none more than Joey, who LOVED the experience. Leaping up in the air with all the balls flying.
We then did some mail/package opening and the gifts were so very thoughtful and touching. So much effort had been put into who each of us are here at the farm, human or dog. It is amazing and we are so thankful. We are so fortunate to have such a supportive community surrounding us. It is not just gifts of course, we talk about the people who comment and watch our videos who give us words of encouragement everyday. It gives us so much positive energy that we pass on to the dogs in everything we do here at the farm and we are so grateful for that. Thank you everyone. - Домашні улюбленці та дикі тварини
Thank you to the very kind soul who bought the wireless microphone… such a great gift. And from someone who struggles hearing Luke when the wind or background noise picks up, I am very grateful to you. Thank you.
It may be that I'm overtired - I've worked till silly o'clock all week, but I was quite choked listening to all the lovely notes and letters today. If you ever need to renew your faith in human kindness, take a UA-cam dose of the Farm. It's not just the awesome Sam and Luke, but also the wonderful YT Farm Community. I salute you one and all.

My daughter and I live in northern Nova Scotia and like many we wait for a video from "The Farm". We don't just love the dogs and the people: we love people who are interested in spiders and snakes and birds. And we like the feeling of being in Australia too. As we enter our deep freeze time, we love to see the green grass and sunny days and the beach and driving through Sydney. And our 2023 calendar has arrived thanks to my daughter!

I’ve only been watching a week or two and I just have to say that y’all are the highlight of my days. I look so forward to watching you and your beautiful family and those wonderful dogs and cats. God bless you and your family!😊
When I was in the hospital last month, apparently I was really bad off, 4 days of the 9 I have no memory of. But once I started feeling better, the first thing I watch of the outside world was your videos. I had missed several so I'd be laying there curled up in the bed, with this big goofy smile on my face. A nurse or a technician (to take blood, vital signs etc) would come in and ask why I was smiling... And I told everyone I could about this channel. And yes it made my day/my stay.... So thank you so much....

@@sq5 most definitely!!!! Thank you!!! I had respiratory viral infection, pneumonia, and Mississippi cat scratch Fever..... In other words I got my butt kicked lol.... But doing better especially breathing than prior to getting sick... And it came on so fast too.... I'm not one who gets sick, but when I do, I make sure to do it all at once lol....

@@sq5 yea that's what I said about myself as well..... Apparently my oxygen was down to 80 for several days, the days I don't have any memory of.... I went in very early Sunday morning, remember about 4 or 5 things after that I remembered calling my husband on Tuesday (we live in different states), then freaking out about my dog who was at home by himself. And that's it. Wasn't till Wednesday that I kind of came out of it and started getting better, after I got help for my dog I was willing to fight to live, but prior I just kept thinking he was going to die, so there was no point.... But it took me till the following Wednesday to be strong enough to go home, with help, my youngest son flew in to be with me for the next two weeks. So yeah I got gobsmacked with everything all at once.... Lol... But once I regained my strength I have felt fantastic... Better than prior to getting ill.... They took good care of me at the hospital, and my son, who is 19, did a fantastic job once we were home... I'm so freaking proud of him... Only time in 50 years I've been hospitalized like that.... Don't want to repeat that again... And like someone else said, this channel is the best prescription....
It's so true when people say they feel part of the Evans Family.... I live in Sydney and have started observing the weather differently. Last week when we got that cold snap, I automatically thought of Luke in the pool freezing while doing hydrotherapy with Tilly and Lilly. I got up the other day and we had gale force winds.... And automatically thought of how it would effect goings on at The Farm and how it will be hard to record a video with wind blasting the microphone. And when I wake up to perfect sunny skies.... I know the dogs will be having an extra good time....
I'm on the other side of the world and have added Sydney to my weather app and i check it daily before going to bed to see what kind of day they are having at the Farm 😁

I live in Indiana in US and I, too, monitor the weather for the farm. I have also taken to finding Australian news casts on You Tube. You are great ambassadors for Australia. The world has grown smaller because of the Evans Farm.
And when it's windy Luke is fretting about more leaves in the pool before the pool party...
@@PolishedMagdalena I did the same when rains wouldn't stop and The Farm was cut off and then Luke and Sam lost power and were running out of food for the doggies.

So many things to comment upon. I’m glad that Neal will see everyone on Thursday, and the shelter dogs can still come on Friday. Sam, to be called a Steel Magnolia is the highest praise a southerner from the USA can give. Wear that title proudly! She is a woman with a spine of steel, as feisty as can be, a mama bear for her young, she stands up for what is right and has a heart of gold. She will do anything for anyone, won’t stand for any sass, all while she exudes grace, beauty, and poise (and a nice set of pearls if she is from the Deep South, meaning Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky or Tennessee!)
You are correct!! I’m from the Mississippi Delta and I can tell you the title of “Steel Magnolia” is indeed high praise!!

Bandit kept pawing at the box at the end. He knew there were doggy bones and squeaky pigs in it. He is so smart and so loved ❤

I’d love to know a bit more about Dylan. He really seems like a great kid and works hard on the farm and from what I can see he is your only employee now
Dylan is not our only employee but he is very committed to his job which is behind the scenes and we appreciate that commitment to his job very much. Hoping you and others take this the way it is intended. Not everyone involved in the farm is comfortable on camera or sharing information about themselves. Being on camera is not always positive for staff members from experience. I could give examples and I assure you, if I did share what they were and how those people felt about it you would feel more understanding but explaining it and pointing those times out would not be right or necessary. I understand it sounds cryptic possibly. But we’re not a TV show where everyone has applied for a job on camera and on a reality tv show. They’re doing a job that is not involved with the dogs per se and are getting paid for that accordingly. I’m not sure how else to say it so people might understand we’re trying to protect our staff and do the right thing. It’s why we asked if Jason would like to start his own UA-cam channel as he doesn’t mind sharing but he has the ability to manage it himself. This is not just directed at yourself Sharon a few people ask and I thought I’d reply with a little more information for those that might have wondered.

@Sharon McKellar I don't know much about Dylan except that he is clearly a hard and conscientious worker and loves dogs! It seems that he is responsible for a lot of the physical upkeep of the grounds, and I have a lot of respect for the great job he does.I hope he is proud of his work, because it is not always easy. We live on only 5 acres, whereas The Farm is 32 acres, and it is often a challenge for us. So kudos to Dylan!

I have to admit that I was losing faith in there being any deceit people left in the world, but this channel has shown me there is still hope. I don’t have a favorite doggy, because they’re all my favorite’s, however Hope has a piece of my heart for being through so much. I love that Luke doesn’t rush opening gifts. It’s nice he takes the time to read the letters and show the gifts, but I always think - Mom would put the toys away for a rainy day. Luke throws them right into the pool. Dog treats last 45 seconds. People treats sampled on the spot. Instant gratification! I just enjoy hearing you two laugh.❤
It’s hard to see Bandit so disabled in his old age. I remember when he used to run full out on a motorbike run or chasing the lure. I hope he’s not in too much pain…..☹️☹️☹️☹️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
