Faith Enjoys Drive Thru, Weekend Moments and Training Never Stops

- Here’s a few moments from our Saturday here at the farm together. Faith goes into the vet to get her stitches out and the very much enjoys drive through afterwards.
It’s raining everyday at the moment but there’s spots of sunshine and the dogs don’t mind at all. They still love their bush runs and time inside with the kids and Kitty.
Rosco and Nevaeh are practicing their drops in the kitchen. Nevaeh especially is working on her calm state inside. She’s doing very well. She’s also meeting and learning about Kitty Rose. Aunty Sam was a little nervous. I know I shouldn’t be, it’s what all the training for months is about. Training to be a highly responsive dog so that no matter what the situation the dog can receive information to understand what is acceptable and what is not acceptable. But I’ve got nerves of … marshmallows 🙈
Then there’s Chance, he gets so excited being off lead in amongst the pack. This next stage for him is everything he’s been waiting and working for.
Like everyone before him, he can only be integrated off lead under supervision. This is a stage in itself. Constant guidance the whole time. You might remember a video when Shadow was at this point and how we spoke about how it can be a bit stressful for us because you simply cannot relax. It’s why the dogs like Chance at this point, are not yet included in time when we spend with the kids or when Luke is preoccupied with any other job.
I’ve included a moment where Chance pursues Matilda and disengages instantly on command. This is what months of our style of training creates. Now it’s hours upon hours of this kind of guidance. Repeatedly allowing them to make decisions and correcting them until they finally no longer make the wrong choice. Every single dog rehabbed has gone through this stage of training. Shadow, Rosco, Nevaeh etc. It’s why their reliability on responsiveness before being let off lead has to be 1000%.
Hoping this makes sense. I just wanted to explain it in case we hadn’t talked about it. This kind of performance from Chance is to be commended.
Wolfie has been going on some short trips into town with Dad on the bus to get milk etc sometimes. Wolf is a little obsessed with the bus right now.
Billie the Frenchie has made friends with Kitty Rose. Billie is having the time of her life on holidays atm. She’s on a very long holiday, almost a couple of months. She’s settled right in. She’s loving inside play time almost as much as outside play time with all these mates she’s making. - Домашні улюбленці та дикі тварини
It's amazing that this is the same dog that had to be carried at the start due to fears. So grateful to you Luke for helping her learn to relax and enjoy life.
All I have to say is Thank you, Luke, for giving Faith your undivided love, attention, and the forever home she deserves. 💘
Faith has come so far! Her eyes are not as wide and terrified like when she first came to the farm. SO happy she is able to experience love, affection and safety…❤

Love watching Faith waiting for chicken, licking her chops, and accepting full-on cuddles from Luke. You have worked a miracle for this lovely girl.

This video really shows how far she has come. To see her resting comfortably in the other video with Hope on the beds side by side. Then the video after that where on the beds Hope is licking and reassuring and loving on Faith is wonderful. This one shows the biggest changes to me. ♥️♥️
Seeing Tank and Chopper, I’m really surprised no one has come for them. They’re such loving, beautiful boys. Hope they get a great home soon.❤️

The constant love and protection that flows from Fredo and wraps his family in warmth is a perfect reflection of Luke. Their souls are intertwined completely.
I've never cried as much with gratitude as when Luke accepted Fredo's heart offer and Sam stood by that decision. His bowtie signals that adoption day in every video since.
Watching Faith in the car, looking around at what is going in, looking with interest rather than fear, just about made my heart explode. I do believe that in the car with Luke is her favourite place now.
Luke is so thoughtful in giving Faith as many happy days as possible. So happy to see how much she is letting Luke in❤️🇬🇧
She is a beautiful dog. Glad to see she finally can trust people. So sorry she is sick. God bless her and give her strength and peace❤️
Sweet Faith has gone from fearing humans to leaning in for a cuddle from Uncle Luke and not showing any fear of the people at the restaurant. She then did not hesitate to try and get out of the car by herself. She new she was at home. Good girl Faith!!

Unbelievable how Faith is now and how Luke is loving on her. Heartwarming considering how she and Hope were before. So happy Faith will be spending the rest of her days being loved .

I can see Faith getting closer and close to you Luke. I think she's very grateful for all your kindness and love. Previous humans have let her down which is obviously why she has very little eye contact with people, but she's so at home with Hope and the other dogs, and lot less nervous. I love seeing her tail wag.

Omg the fact that she was standing on Lukes legs and having him cuddle her and she did it of her own accord is just amazing. This is the same dog that had to be carried off the bus and was too scared to even get food off of a human. This proves that hard work and lots and lots of love and compassion and a dog like this can trust you. Maybe not totally but she knows you wont hurt her. And for her to feel safe when she doesnt have much time left is just amazing and so lovely.
Also im so proud of Chance too. He is doing so well and the hard work is paying off.

Faith is taking everything in, it's all so new.
loved to see how Uncle Luke took his time in comforting Faith and getting her to relax after she had been to the vet. So many would have just upped and driven off.

Faith is enjoying the one on one with Uncle Luke, the hugs, the pets and the calming voice with which he speaks to her. Chance is just so happy to be included in the Pack and is responding so well to Luke's commands. Wolfie enjoying his Daddy-Son time especially in the moving vehicles, so excited. Kitty Rose has brought out the pup in so many of the Pack and it's so nice to see them relaxed and playing with her. 🐾💞🐾💞

Yes she does. It is breaking my heart. But am thankful that she living her best life now. She is loved and respected for the sweetie she is.

She is looking so comfortable with Luke in the car at the ´magic chicken window´ I would want to move too fast and hug and love on her. It would most likely scare her. I know the meds have calmed her down some but Luke and Sam’s patience with her has moved mountains in her being so comfortable and trusting. I’m really excited to see Hope’s journey and how much she progresses too. I now understand when
Luke said about blame and shame for the breakers that threw them away after they were no longer profitable. Their lives have changed so much and come so far. I’m sure there will be others thrown away at some point too. Luke and Sam have worked miracles for Faith and Hope. What perfect names that Adam picked out for them.

Faith looks like a different dog - new collar, a sparkle in her eyes and no longer fearful just watchful. She seems to be really enjoying Luke's one on one attention and I hope she's able to translate that feeling to when she's in amongst everything at The Farm.

It was nice to see Faith feeling a little calmer about things. Especially something as new and unfamiliar as the "magic chicken window". Seeing her so worried/scared all the time made my heart hurt. WE knew she had nothing to be concerned about, but she didn't. I'm glad she's finally enjoying life a little.
Such a beautiful gorgeous dog faith has grown into, thanks to all the love & tenderness Uncle Luke & Auntie Sam have given her, she isn't the shy timid girl that first came into the farm. So beautiful to see.
The love the Evans family have shown Faith has worked miracles. She has come on leaps and bounds. We adopted a male abused dalmatian and it was heartbreaking during that first year. He eventually became happy and very loving around humans as he trusted us completely to protect him. However he was never confident and suffered terribly with anxiety. We had him for just over 8 years and I think he had the happiest life possible. Just makes you so angry that people can be so cruel. All he ever wanted was to give and receive love.
Faith is such a precious little soul ‘Thank you’ for giving her the love & care that she needs & deserves what she’s going through right now bless her 🥺💕🙏🏼

Me too, Sharon. Didn't even make it 4 minutes in. That beautiful face, and her eyes so much more relaxed. With her paw on Luke's lap, and her head relaxed against him, I just lost it. To know she finally knows love and affection is just everything. I could have watched this part all day, which I guess sounds strange since it made me cry but Faith's supporters will understand. I love you, dear Faith!

Roscoe is so jealous when Nevaeh gets pets from Uncle Luke! Kinda funny, actually. Faith got a great reward for being a good girl at the vet, and you could see how relaxed she was with Luke. Another great video---I learn a few training tips every time I watch Luke working with the dogs.
The notes included with this video are important, Luke builds a relationship with each dog, each dog integrates into the family and is treated with respect and earns trust, always provided with reassurance and affection. Harmony and credit to all those at the Farm.
It is so bitter-sweet to see Faith seeking, and offering affection, knowing it will be such a short time that she'll know it. But know it she will, and even for a short time, she is loved. ♥️🐾
Nevaeh is like "I'm going to lie here on the kitchen floor until somebody RUBS MY BELLY!" 🤣

Faith is such a beautiful dog! Her new collar looks so nice on her. I bet it feels good to have the stitches out from her armpit. She was so cute at the drive through, smelling the air and eagerly waiting for the chicken to appear. It was good to see her be able to enjoy some affection, too. How precious she was when she nearly fell asleep, and later on when Uncle Luke said her name and she wagged her tail. She is so loved and she knows it. ❤️💕🥰

If the prior 'responsible breeder' had noticed Faith's growth initially then she would still have a bright future. This precious girl's life has been unnecessarily and greatly shortened through this irresponsible breeders disgraceful lack of care. Luke and Sam, thank you for being the loving, caring, responsible Humans where Faith can live out her life being loved, pain free in the best ever Doggie home. 💓
