- Today we are looking at the beautiful $150 Timex Marlin Chronograph Panda tw2w10300, A new model launched by the brand with roots from their heritage marlin creations of the 60's.

Another fantastic Timex they will... timex up. For those not following the American company, to timex something up means creating a fantastic watch you can't buy because of poor stock management.
But if you are patient it will eventually come back in stock and you'll get it on sale.

Timex was my first watch when I was about 6 years old. I felt like an adult, having it on my wrist. I'm so glad to see the brand really working it in the past couple of years!

The acrylic crystal and the domed shape, the 3, 9, and 12 font with a solid bracelet really make this a Timex 💎.

This watch looks amazing! I prefer lume on my watches but this watch looks so good that I can make an exception. Those numerals are very well designed and really add to the vintage aesthetic. I totally agree with you about the date complication but at least they kept it subtle so as not to draw much attention. Beautiful watch! Very well done 🥃

I have the “Q” chrono Timex (which is one of my favorite looking watches)..I also have the Timex Marlin “mod” (which I adore)..both those watches are comfortable, great looking watches..I saw this one and am glad you did a review of it, very nice looking, except for the date window which I can’t see anyway, but for under $200, sign me up, this one is a keeper! Great job Timex!

Excellent review! I love the the watches you review. This timex is so vintage inspired. I'm stuck now when trying to decide on a racing chronograph. I'm still leaning heavily towards the Q timex Chronograph, but this new Marlin is really having me second guess things.

Wow that is a gorgeous piece. Thanks for the review, I recently purchased a tiffany blue Citizen Tsuyosa and I'm debating sending it back for this. If I love the Citizen and keep it, I may still go for this. I have yet to add a chronograph to my collection!
What a fantastic video with great detail and beautiful shots of the watch.
Timex once again proves it’s the best of the best when it comes to fashion watches. There’s nothing wrong with that. Great value and they know what customers want. I’d snap this up in a heartbeat. And I’m always hesitant about non-mechanical watch purchases!

Thanks for the review. I had the Timex Q chrono and returned it because it got condensation under the glass after being outside in cold weather for a short time. But I missed it so I was looking at getting another one but then saw this.

I think that Timex just keeps coming out with fantastic watch after fantastic watch. This Marlin being no exception to that, glad you compared it to the Hamilton as I do think it is an awesome value comparison to that watch.

As per usual you find a fresh non-hype piece to share! Superb review and presentation shots.
This Marlin reminds me of an Orient Neo 70s Chrono in terms of pure value for money, although that one can't be found at retail anymore sadly. I love the vintage vibes, the fonts, crystal and case shape on this one! If Timex was readily available in Eastern Europe, this one would be a definitive buy for me.
It's more like old Heuer Carrera on budget, the glass, the dial, the button

It's got my attention. In fact the whole Marlin line does. I like watches but my funds are somewhat limited. I've paid up to $450 for a watch but that was a bit of a stretch for me. $150 is more my speed. Love the "vintage" look of the new run of Marlins.

Its s lovely watch and i would recommend it. The mid century look is really good, the silver and the numbers are perfect. Had mine for about a month now and it's been a good addition. The only thing I'd get rid of is the strap, its too inflexible. Looking at replacements at the moment

Is this same movement as the previous chronograph that the first pull of the crown only change the hour and date but not minute hand?

this is my first chrono, things beautiful. Almost blinds me in the sun haha
I ordered one on the black leather band and while I loved it, I felt it was missing something. Swapped in a stainless steel Milanese bracelet and it takes the watch to a whole other level, and matches the retro aesthetic perfectly. Fantastic watch for the money, and a new favorite in my personal lineup.

The wearing experience you describe is similar to a Meca-Quartz, and I like Meca-Quartz watches.
I recently picked one up on the bracelet. Got a good discount online from Timex UK. I agree that it’s a really good looking watch and also that it wears a little smaller that its dimensions suggest. I’d say more like a 37/38mm.
I am new to watches and loving this one, thinking of getting it, I am wondering if its possible to take out the bracelet sometimes and put in a leather strap?

This timex marlin chronograph IS fantastic it looks like a tag Heuer Carrera too a beautifull homage
I order mine on ocarat which IS french website during the sales for 130 euros but infortunately i have to wait april to be delivered to update thé watch i will order a leather rally straps but very good quality and a deployement clasp . What do you think ? Where do you but your denim strap ? It fits perfectly with this watch

This is Seiko Mecaquartz, because Epson is owned by Seiko and it is obvious that this is one of their VK models as its chrono second hand snaps instantly back when you reset it.

Question: the leather strap shown at 00:25 second mark is black and I really like it however the links in the description show brown leather straps. Can you please tell me if the black shown in your video is the other side of the brown straps or if the store just no longer carriers the black color option

This is another home run for the brand. The price even in Canada is good. But damn the bracelet version is gone. 😢 I’m trying not to take this personal.

- For that I would agree to pay 300-350 eur
Think I still prefer the Q chrono, but this is very nice. I did notice sloppy uneven paint on the indices.
for me 220 eur :((( sadly. finally!! i was waiting for a good chrono the orient was good looking watch but i didnt like the bezel and this has the vintage feel especially with the bracelet option looks stunning
