Scott Shiflett kicks ass on bass. A true musician's musician. Dude's the Geddy Lee of punk rock, he makes the bass sing :) If you like punk music and want to hear some great musicianship, these cats are top-notch--and they do it in a musical genre not normally known for such things.

I've been going to concerts religiously for over 10 years, I've seen face to face more times then I remember. Their passion and energy when they play their songs are truly a step above the rest. This makes me so happy to watch I can truly tell they are still having a great time. I cannot wait for music to return so I can see them again. Great job guys. I love face to face.
New album rocks guys i find i go back and listen too it ALOT been with you guys since the early 90s theres alot of familiar riffs and melodys similar too older albums which is awesome but sounds original and new all at the same time,very happy and proud of you guys for releasing another steller album.
No offense to Goldfinger, who put out a couple quality remote live songs early in the quarantine, but this is just better. Timing, sound, vocals, tempo, all at peak performance. Would expect nothing less from a band of this quality. Oh and Mr Shiflett is one of the best bassists on the planet.
Also the editing and transitions of the GF vids get a little annoying after a while. There are only so many times one can see one picture drop into the other with a rumbly bounce.
hehehehehe that's what's cool about F2F, everyone always gives their bassist credit, instead of just gushing over their popularity, or bragging about how they "got laid while this was playing" or some such rubbish. They've brought a new level of artistic excellence to an art form not normally known for it. I'm much too old to fanboy over them, but they're truly one of a kind, and I'll be fucked if they haven't spent their lives setting a brand new standard for musicianship in the world of melodic punk rock. Making good music takes a lot of talent, heart, and humanity--but these cats are a notch above.
