If the game continues the grow to 5 years, I can see the op01 non alt arts go up in value because of nostalgia. Personally, I think OP01 should cease production after the summer because of PRB01.
It's our base set. They'll definitely see some nostalgia gains. Another reason they could go up is if draft or sealed tournaments become more consistent in tournament play.
It’s nice to see singles drop for play. Sealed dropped but the floor is very thin. Will recover in 4-6 weeks quite a bit. Mihawk celebration pack promo is about at buy out status.
I love the show and love the cards and the art and have amassed a pretty awesome collection, and while I love the cards I’m also scared to death of getting rugged, disappointing to see general UA-cam community complain about prices, then now restock comes and we’re shitting on the game
@@erikostberg7457 to me it comes down to how much you personally value having the cards compared to how much you value the negative aspect of buying something and seeing the price fall. I'm a huge fan of the manga too and i'm honestly kindof hyped that prices are falling, it's more opportunity to pick up items i didn't get the chance to. I see no reason to worry as of now, competitive scene is doing really good (prizing wise) and reprints + reprint sets will allow more players to join at the price of some cards price falling.
It's very likely. Especially the manga and alts. Demand for this tcg has been growing exponentially quarter after quarter and is showing no sign is slowing down. With the level of marketing going into one piece as a whole, this game has so much room for growth and will be taking up more and more of the big 3s market share. It's wild to be in something like this so early.
It really hurts watching my Alt Law Leader and Zoro Alt from OP01 I recenely pulled go down every week :( I'm mainly collector and I wanted to grade them. At this rate it's not even worth grading it.
Honestly they will still be great to grade stuff like that will always have value. Any leader from set 1 will be good maybe not worth a crazy price but great to get graded and have as a collection piece.
@@RayQ101 I pulled them myself and I grow attached to them. It's not about money, I'd never sell them. But at the same time it hurts because I thought I have something rare and limited. Reprints are really bad.

Yea sealed is always gonna recover well
Is it reasonable to project that as the game grows and player base grows these early set cards will only appreciate?

Shoulda dumped when reprint rumors hit front page.

@@ant_989 It’s a Bandai game, expectations were they’d reprint heavily. Only the tourney winner promos and serialized cards are worth anything.
