@4:00 Set OP01-OP05 have pencils on the original, OP06 onward - PRB they dropped it. So PRB reprints do not have the pencil. Pulled Katakuri in PRB and it does not have the pencil mark compared to my originals. TCG Player also updated some of the images so you can actually see the pencil vs non pencil

Deck might be too overtuned if they gave it a 1-drop searcher. My money's on a searcher event or location, and I'm wishlisting an on-trait 9 or 10 drop.

1:05:33 A more efficient way of do this i think It would be droping Kid, attacking with Foxy with 1 don, ability, u get 2 don from both kids and attack with Capote with those 2, playing with kid dons is key hehe

Love playing leader locked decks and Foxy just barely has enough to build a 50 card deck. The Foxy archetype is missing 1c searcher as you said and a second 2k counter. Think they could make a decent Robin art for eother role

EB-01 was arguably my best set. Manga Chopper 1st box first pack lol Bon Clay from all 4 opened boxes. Tons of Alts and playables. No complaints here 👌🏾

There is a slight difference on the right side of OP01 and OP02 cards there is a pencil emblem above the artist name on the original and it's missing on the reprints.

I love the EB01 set. It got some much hate when it released, but the cards appear to be very playable and the hitrate is great!! Congrats on the Laboon man, one of my favorites

Thanks for the vids guys. Might wanna touch on finger pistols for people that want to play Blackbeard. It's a 4 of in all blackbeard lists and is a rare from eb01 so it could be 5-6 dollar rare like Edward weevil before too long.

Might wanna talk about Finger Pistol next market watch. Teach is maybe the best deck in the East right now. All Black Beard decks run 4 finger pistol and its a rare from EB01 so it could go to 5-6 bucks like edward weevil.

I have never played but looking at the game and the mechanics and the cards, it's VERY clear that life card triggers are really overpowered and yellow has by far the most powerful and most consistant life triggers and it shows in the big tournaments as pretty much all the top decks are yellow. Honestly, I think the life trigger mechanic might be so badly imbalanced at this point, it might quickly kill the game before it gets off the ground.

You can tell these guys are passionate about yugioh because they spend half the video arguing on the tier. I think personally yugioh as a game sucks and is overly powercrepted but I would not deny its popularity. I still have some of the og prints for nostalgic reasons.... anything after 5ds/sychros is 🗑️ Tf thought pendulums was a good idea lol

i think bandai doing this is good for the tcg. Cards should not be super expensive unless its alt arts. Having price affordable allows more people to get into the hobby which can help bandai with selling products.

Yeah I hope we have more regional events to incentivize the competitive scene. I plan on playing mostly locals for 8.5 and 09, but by the time OP10 comes around, I'd like to go to at least 1 regional just to see what it's like.

Tbh, i hate anime card games because it lacks in development because there's limit over the original designs. I bet if Bandai will make a card called Hans, a pirate that appeared at episode 8 for like 2 seconds. And as a person who actually saw the Austin Powers card game, this usually ends in making the same character over and over again ( i mean... Digimon is having this. Something something wargreymon).
