The sound of hitting the keys will be heard and the sound from your headphones can also be heard if its loud enough. If you are in a quiet room with another person, he/she can hear the piano even if you have headphones.

Perfectly fine. All that it making your jack bigger =). And you should be able use headphones with mic also. The mic just would not work but headphones would.

Sir I tried get aux input through my keyboard into my headphones (i inserted my aux into the port and then connected my headphones in tht usual output jack). The sound isnt coming proper. I too have yamaha psre453. Could you please check whether its a fault of the Keyboard or the model?

Brother I bought Sony mdr 7506 & connected it to my Roland xps 10 keyboard using the 6.35 mm trs connector that I got along with the headphone…. BUT I can hear sound only through left side of headphone…. But when I connect in 3.5 mm AUX port of my keyboard I can hear sound through both the sides of headphone….. why is that???😢😢😢

Check your piano settings if there is a separate volume adjustment for headphone output,also make sure the headphone converter jack is a stereo jack and not mono.

How many different we will get in sound quality and output between earphone and headphone in keyboard?
If I'm understanding your comment correctly, then it just depends on how much different in sound quality your earphones and headphones are. I don't think the piano will change the sound quality/output between the two. Hope this makes sense.

actually 😊 it comes in 2 size only ,one is 3.5 mm ,which is used in portable and mini devices like smartphone ,walkman and ipods.2nd is 6,3 mm which is mostly used in larger devices like mixer ,amplifiers ,and keyboards etc.
there is no existence of 6.5 mm jack .

I don't get it. It seems to me that I need 3.5 to 6.35, since the plug on my Yamaha digital keyboard is definitely larger than my headphone's head. So, I need something to make it wider, not the opposite.
