As someone who works in a hospital (Biomedical Scientist i.e. all those blood samples, pee samples etc... get sent straight to me), January is the longest month of the year as the beginning is an utter nightmare. That and July.
The number of parties which have accidents and illicit substances in them makes my day a whole lot longer... and summer festivals are the same!

January as many said, is also 31 days but thats to begin the year, so its expected to be long (What seems, not what is) On the other hand, March is right after February , the only month with 29 days. Lastly, because March is the 3rd month, knowing there are 31 days (also three) is actually a very good time to get things done, imho.
