Yes because your old Peterbildts and Kenworths are 2 stroke, and have depending on the modells, V8s of the same size as Scania, or V12s that are even bigger

cuz it large v8 engine with different firing order that make it sound really different
American trucks have cat engines and mainly Cummins. They stopped making two stroke diesels years ago.
