This can be challenging or easy, depends on the baby.
Sometimes goat moms choose not to take care of their babies so we need to step in and help out. We will bottle feed them from 1 to 2 months before they are ready to eat on their own. #goatbabbies

How many ml of milk do you give once &how frequently for 1 say old
They have small tummy's, so they will let you know when they have had enough milk.
Most important is the baby gets moms milk within the first day. Mom's milk has the necessary things that helps the baby with establishing a strong immune system.
Hi, I have a newborn baby goat but her momma doesn’t want to feed her. What am I able to give her as a replacer? What do I have to buy to give her the right nutrients?
Baby needs mama's milk the first 24-48 hours. After that, then whole milk from grocery wormed up works for us. Again without mama goat milk during the first 24 to 48 , chances are NOT good for survival. Good luck.

I know it’s been a long time since this video is out...I just got a 1 week year old goat and I can’t seem to find any milk replacer for him.....what shall I do?
Is the goat a baby? ("1 week year old " ?). If you can not get goat milk from who every you got the goat from, then "Whole" cow's milk will work. Be ware of formula goat milk, we do not recommend it. Depending on where you live, some heath food stores may have goat milk (for baby goats). We have used cow "whole" milk for years with success. The big problem for baby goats is in the first 48 hours is drinking mama goats milk for all the good stuff it has for the baby. Good luck. Thanks for your question.
John McIver thanks for the reply and sorry for getting you confused the goat is only 1 week old and I can’t seem to find milk for goats in any pet store that’s why I kept searching and asking everywhere...
John McIver so I should only use whole cow’s milk from the local store? Without adding anything to it?
@@maeventheraven Yes. Go to your normal grocery store and pickup a some whole milk. Warm up the milk in the bottle you are using before feeding to baby. Most baby's will let you know when they have had enough milk. Suggest going to my UA-cam site and looking thru my other baby goat videos. Remember, warm not HOT. And don't forget to look thru the comments and answers here in "Comments" for some more help and ideas.

I tried that. ONCE. I found out it's a real good way to drown baby goats. The best thing I learned for these was to tube feed correctly.
I agree. You can not use a calf size nipple to feed a goat. Nipples all have different size holes. For example you can no use goat nipple to feed baby kittens. Thanks for watching.

Baby might have selenium deficiency. Poor thing it wants the milk but needs selenium to thrive.
Thanks for the comment. However, our goats here get shots twice a year to stop any possible deficiency. This baby was either one of multiple babies when born (more than 3 babies) for mama goat to deal with or mama goat just rejected baby. Thanks for watching.

Milk goat and try using a small bottle to feed. Baby needs mama;s milk within the first 36 hours to get important ingredients. After 48 hour, life expectancy goes down fast. We even freeze any extra mom goats 1st
day colostrum, it is true life saving milk.
