Literally have a draft tonight and was trying to come up with the perfect strategy picking at the last spot in a 10 teamer. I’m going RB RB….appreciate ya 🤙🏼!!
In home leauges especially on espn if you don’t take RBs early you’re not getting n the top 15-20. On Yahoo if you don’t get your RBs set by round 4 you’re hurting, people reaching on RBs and top receivers like Deebo,Kupp and Nico gone by pick 29 or 30.
Would love to see how you'd go about drafting from the 8th spot in a 14 team half ppr home league. 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, Flex, Defense, Kicker. Even if you did a 14 team mock from a different position it'd be fun to see how it all shakes out
i had 8th pick in my 14 team half ppr with 2 flex. went jefferson-pacheco-metcalf-higgins-kincaid-worthy through 6 rounds. Then hit RB hard and went double late round Qb. I like it but we'll see.
@@joeytrees I'm thinking of doing something similar when I draft this weekend. A little nervous Chase will fall to me and I won't know if it's value or a bad pick if he doesn't play
Adam in a 10 team league would you go RB RB then Deebo/Nico n 3rd then 4th Smith 5th Higgins 6th Rice then take a TE & QB? Like Ferguson as my favorite TE and Daniels & Purdy or Goff at QB? Thank you Adam for great advice, I’m picking at 8 n 10 teamer.
Incredible review! Heard the pod a couple days ago with fear on hype around JT and Barkley… out of the 9 spot in half ppr 12 team I am leaning to 2 RBs to start. Getting to lots of JT and Kyren/Achane. Sound strategy in your opinion?
Got the 1.04 in my home league ESPN draft this weekend. For some reason Tyreek Hill’s big board ranking is 5 so he may likely fall to me at 4. After doing a couple mocks, like you said, I prefer my team structure when I take Breece or Bijan at 1.04 avoiding the dead zone entirely. Is taking one of those RB’s over Hill bad process or is this something you guys are okay with?
Would this strategy be okay for a full PPR league that gives 100 yard bonuses on ground and air? Also the QB gets bonus points for 300 yards should I prioritize pocket passers?
I'm going back and forth on this myself. I have pick 3, feel like it's too great a risk to go WR in a league where RBs are still overvalued. I'll be dealing with the dregs by the time it comes back around to me. So I'm leaning toward grabbing Breece at 3 and feasting on WRs in Rounds 3-5.
At which point do you lean RB over WR? I have the third pick so very likely have CeeDee/Tyreek available but not sure if Breece would be a reach over those two with my first pick.
i think breece would be fine there. it all depends on youre league mates and how they typically draft. if its a RB heavy league, go breece/bijan. if its WR heaby go ceedee or tyreek
Couple mentions of Jaylen Warren. Are you not afraid of his hamstring injury? He was one of my top targets all offseason, but I have a bad taste from buying the injury dip on Kupp last year, so Warren scares me now.
The guy who hasn't surpassed 13.3 PPR points per game in his career is better than guys in his range with recent 15+ points per game seasons like White, Mixon, Conner, Kamara, Jacobs and Jones? I sense biased over projecting.
@@TheTcepnt He's easily more talented than white, and has more juice left int he tank than all of those other players given the fact that he's only 23. Situationally, Mixon/Conner/Kamara and Jacobs look to be in similar spots from a production perspetive and all have concerns. Fading Aaron Jones is easy with Darnold under center and what's shaping up to be a lost season in MN already. Mixon is past the RB cliff and in a completely new offense - which rarely bodes well for the year of a swap. There's a chance white outright loses his handle on the touches to Irving who's looked great. Conner is one of the highest odds of injury of any RB based on his history and the spreadsheet bro analytics, Kamara is dust between the tackles and plays for a bottom five team only valuable in PPR formats. Jacobs has been run into the ground the last two seasons and was a huge letdown last year which was entirely expected - also with a new team. (Albeit if I were to bet on any of those four it would be Jacobs on opportunity alone with Dillion and Lloyd already banged up on a really good offense.) I'm not saying draft KW in the early third, but if he drops to the 4th as your RB 2 or even if you have three elite WRs in front of him you could be looking at a backend RB1 at a steep discount. Seattle's O-line was one of the most injury ravaged all year last year and he was still productive. They addressed it in the offseason and the new OC has specifically touted KW's ability as a possible three down guy. And Charb was very mediocre last season as a change of pace guy. Again - don't need to draft him hella early, but in the 4th or 5th he's a steal and would be a very strong bet to return value over these other less efficient and less explosive players. KW projects to have higher volume this year whereas many of those guys project to lose volume for various reasons.
Was on the fence about drafting Amon or Breece at 5 in a 12 man PPR and you helped me choose Breece. I think Amon might be slightly better but the difference is almost negligible and I found myself having to take guys like White and Jacobs in mocks like you said. So I was thinking Breece round 1, Drake London round 2, Josh Allen round 3 and then I can wait for value on RB's instead of being stuck in the deadzone. Thanks for the advice!
adam can you guys please do some strategy videos on superflex?
yes please !!!
Great content! ETR plus you and Silva are amazing. Thanks for the video! I appreciate it and the both of you and your team.
thanks for watching!

you're welcome!
i appreciate this video. thank you for sharing some info on drafting this year
Always killer content Adam. 🔥
My league switched to 6pt throwing TD's and it really switches up the QB playing field
Well produced video

Great video, great voice!
TY!
Thanks Adam. Does the thought process change on pocket passers with 6pt tds?
Nice video my boy! Got my like and subscribe 🙌
yes please!

My draft was.... Uh.... Interesting. Ended up with Burrow in the NINTH?! Couldn't believe it. 9.6

how do u feel about etn ? in a 12 team espn ppr league ?
@establishtherun Are you worried at all about Christian Kirk's snap share in 11 personnel?
So what are you doing when you grab Lamb or Hill at pick 2 or 3. Most the time on the backend those RB's are gone. Thats in full ppr and half.

How does the dead zone apply to a 14 man league ?

they said he should be fine
It’s a hamstring, def some risk no matter what coaches/beats say
What if it’s a 5 or 6 point passing league
No way I'm drafting Kelce so early seeing as how he's dealing with such a public and "brutal" break up 😉
The Ken Walker disrespect is real. He’s in a tier above the other dead zone guys.
You may be right! Lucky for you, you’ll likely get him at a discount.

I’m conflicted. I like the talent but I’m worried about the O-line. He’s a guy I’d pick if he falls a bit.
@@zaherbermy thoughts exactly 😏

Yeah but in that "let's see" at the end... How do you feel about how Team 11 drafted!? 🤠🧐
Team 3 smoked you in the early half in that mock lol - I wouldve went Olave in round 2
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
wtf... i didn't know adam does eyeliner
you must not know ball
lol
Dude took CJ and Burrow b2b in my league. What a waste
I really didn't like that draft...
