They actually had a whole teacher of a dance school to help for the choreography of the dance, in the manga the dance was one panel long and wasn't even a full page and they extended it to more than one minute, madhouse is really putting all on this adaptation.
Unless they used AI, that whole dance sequence was rotoscoped. Meaning, they had a pair of professional dancers in pingpong suits dancing around, and then redrew each frame. Its one of the easiest method of animation in terms creativity n skill, but at the same time one of the most time consuming method. We already know the studio was going all in for Freiren, now we know that literally meant everything in the show, even smthing as simple as Fern n Stark dancing. Amazing.
@@arsyadidris6349 given the absurdly smooth motion of Fern's dress, I'm inclined to believe that they rotoscoped dancers in actual outfits. It was unbelievably good.

First of all, I don't understand English. Therefore, I apologize if the English is strange. Sein and Frieren were active in the first half. If it wasn't for the priest named Sein, Frieren's friends and the villagers would be in danger. The flashback scenes of Heiter in between were also nice. I liked that Heiter believed Frieren because he didn't know what Frieren was thinking. It's easy to see how Frieren was trusted by his colleagues. The BGM of Frieren's battle scene is nice. The second half was mainly about Stark and Fern. The scene where Stark kneels down and takes Fern's hand is similar to Himmel's proposal in episode 14, which was nice. It's unfortunate that Fern said hurtful things to Stark after that, but isn't the reason why Fern was bothered by the fact that she held Stark's hand was because she liked him?I thought so. I'm glad that Lord Orden wasn't like Stark's father. In the dance scene, Fern's face seemed stiff at first, but I thought it was good that she gradually loosened up. I think the animators put a lot of effort into the dance part and made the animation better. It was moving extremely smoothly. The dance scenes do not use any CG, and are all hand-drawn. Also, the similarities between Lord Orden and his son, Stark and Eisen are sad, but they had memories that overlapped with each other. Also, you have included sad stories between the gags. After all, what sticks out the most to me is the 14th episode where Himmel puts a ring on Frieren's left ring finger. The only thing is that it was ranked 1st in the original episode popularity poll. However, it is both a beautiful episode and a sad one. Even though Himmel loved Frieren, Frieren didn't realize that he was loved while Himmel was alive. This is the difference between races. There was a difference in lifespan and mental growth between humans and elves. Humans have shorter lifespans and faster mental growth. Elves, on the other hand, have long lifespans and slow mental growth. Even though Frieren is an elf who lived for over 1,000 years, he was still mentally a child. Therefore, Himmel understood this and did not say ``Let's marry me'' or ``I love you'' when proposing, but remained silent. It's sad when you realize that. Of course, as I said at the beginning, it's a beautiful episode.
Like I said before Stark has much in common with Himmel! Fern was surprised that Stark took the lead and she realised that she likes it 🤭 The dance was all hand-drawn and that's such a surprise because other animes would use cgi for that scene. Mad House really showing that they are one of the best and have come a long way since hunter x hunter! I'm so glad that they picked this serie to adapt! 😊
I'm glad this season we have Frieren to warm our hearths, you know because JJK seem to be trying to give us all depression, seriously I never saw you pause a video for a whole minute until you saw Nobara's death
I think this dance scene was beautifully done by Madhouse I have no words in other anime you only see their shoulder level when they dance but Madhouse said "Let's Cook" and it was all hand drawn and supervised by a dance school using a real waltz.
In the first half, it seemed like Sein was a unique addition to the party and had cleared the ritual of being accepted by the audience. I think he plays the role of a failed adult to give an impression of how quickly children grow up.
I think that moment where Sein asks Frieren to dance was some part of him thinking "Hmm... maybe she IS a sexy older lady," and then when she turns him down to happily munch on more cake he's like "actually I think I had it right before. Nevermind." 😆
Now I know what I will say to someone when I recommend them this show. Be careful if you have heart issues or diabetes. 😩 I think Frieren is the hero of this party. Not just because having two mages kinda makes less sense but Frieren is actually being or acting as Himmel in this party. Great reaction.
madhouse going all out with the dance scene. they turn 1 panel fern x stark dance into 1 whole minutes scene. i guess someone in madhouse huge fern x stark shipper lol
Fern and Stark will make an amazing power couple. Grandma Frieren will be able to train the next generation of amazing heroes as well. I want Frieren to basically watch over Fern and Stark's descendants for generations onwards. Teaching each new generation of great heroes to protect this world.

FUN FACT: In the manga their dance was only one panel....The animators deserve hugs ✨
Indeed, though it did get a big color spread in the manga as well as a chapter title if I recall right.
I am rarely into shipping characters but mayn i ship fern and stark so much😫.They are so adorable!
It's impossible not to ship them when they have this much chemistry!! 😍

Need to change that to just married in everything 😂
