- In this video, i teardown a RE5RO5A out of a 2010 Nissan Pathfinder, Came in with the common P1757 code, upon inspection trans was found to be full of water. Going to do an overhaul with a rebuilt Valvebody/Tcm, Account that sent the car over installed a new radiator. Thanks for watching, Happy New Year to everyone out there.
Good modern automatic 5 speed RWD transmission they are. When Jatco had there head straight on making conventional automatics instead of those shit box CVT’s
Please do a rebuild video please
Excellent video boss💪🏿
I have just rebuilt my 2003 RE5R05A transmission. After warm-up, there is engine flare-up (delay in shifting) from gear 3 to gear 4. No codes are present, and no other symptoms are observed. What should I check?
Hi. my car pathfinder 2010 4.0
when changing gear from P to D or from R to D, there is always a delay of 2-3 seconds when shifting to D. The rest works very well. What can be? Electrovalve?
I have new, original oil. Could some solenoid valve be responsible for this?
while driving everything is ok.
this is most noticeable when it's hot. and when I change from R to Drive.
thank you for the information
any codes present?
@@GaryFerraro there are no codes
@@v.n.7495 I'm thinking maybe scalloped rubber seals on the pistons
@@GaryFerraro do you mean solenoids?
I will add once again that it only lags on D. You can feel it more when the oil warms up.
What else can I suggest to my mechanic? I don't want him to refurbish the whole box
Thanks
@@GaryFerraro hello. but I have the code u1000 can communication
If you ever come across Ram Promaster diesel 6 speed automated gear box please make a video. These vans are getting junked because nobody knows anything about them.
Do you mean the 62TE or the DCT Transmission?
@@GaryFerraro Not 62TE. It is a single clutch M40 robotised gear box from Fiat. I found some info on fiatforum on it. These vans are getting junked A because of rusting hard to pull out injectors and B the transmission nobody knows about.
@@klrrafman Never really seen one, My friend ask about one but he ended up getting a reamman from the dealer
How did the water got into the transmission?
cooler lines are hooked to radiator, that went bad and water in trans
