My mom was a mapmaker for a while in the 70s. She stopped when she realized she was helping map out paths for bombs 😳 some strange government job. But I’ve always loved ASMR videos with maps. Always puts me right to sleep!

Random but, I gave up caffeine for 3 months due to a medicine I'm taking. I just won't do decaf. I think it tastes odd... But! I have been drinking cacao! It's a lovely alternative to coffee, especially if you aren't caffeine dependent or trying to not be... Plus, its chocolatey and we know you love that:)
I haven't tried cacao. Perhaps I should give it a try?

Oh yes, I've tried some of those! Particularly like the salted caramel flavour.

Nice recording. Was Tolkien late in being recognised or was there a resurgence of interest in his books? I always feel that it was not till the ‘60’s that The Hobbit etc rose to prominence. NB, I was mesmerised by The Borrowers when I first read the stories as a child, I think you will be too !
I'm not sure, but I remember reading the Hobbit in the 1970s as a child. I don't think it was particularly mainstream then though.
