Seeing the mesh obstruction really put me off what I thought may be the perfect stroller! Driving myself mad researching 😵💫 and now back to square one again. Glad I checked this review - thanks
Right?! It is so frustrating. I have been testing the much more cost effect Zoe Traveler for a review coming out soon and it also has a shorter seat back, but not having the mesh on top still allows my toddler to lay down even though her head comes off a little bit. You should check out the Colugo The One (esp if you have a Nuna car seat). It has a better seat back and reminds me a lot of the Nuna TRVL: shrsl.com/4fkpl
@thestrollermom thank you. I actually did some more research and decided on the Egg Z in the end. I'm yet to receive it, hopefully its good for what I need 🤞🏻 - something lie flat, sturdy but lighter weight, and that will fit in the boot of my car. Just for the quick stop offs and will use my nuna Mixx for everything else.
would you be able to do a review of the Nuna Ixxa and/or the new Nuna Swiv? I wonder what their sizes are compared to the Nuna TRVL LX and they interest me because they can be parent facing.
What is your overall pick for a travel stroller to be used as an everyday stroller as well? I’ve been considering the Nuna trvl, uppababy minu v2, bugaboo butterfly or joelz air+ I think it’s called (also looked at the mompush). They all have great features but I can’t seem to decide! Airplane travel maybe once a year, baby is about to be 1 but is petite so tall back isn’t a must at this time.
Thank you for such a detailed review. First time mom here so many choices ! Torn between nuna Trvl LX and Triv Next … looking for light weight but full size features! Do you have a recommendation ? ? Also, What infant car seat do you recommend for Nuna ?
using nuna trvl, a sidewalk around 2 centimetres height can already stop the wheels and the stroller jumped up like a horse. So frustrated I have to push backwards to get through. Don’t recommend to anyone living in city when you need to cross tons of roads.
I’m trying to decide between the Bugaboo Butterfly vs. the Nuna Trvl LX. We are considering the Nuna car seat. I watched your other video where you compare the 2 compact strollers. And I still can’t decide! Do you think the upgrades with the LX will make it a better option than Bugaboo? I do plan on using it from infant as well.
@@farrahtruong4266 if you are okay with gate checking (I honestly prefer it most of the time) and won’t need a taller toddler to nap in the stroller, I would go TRVL LX! Otherwise I would go butterfly. If you end up buying either, I would greatly appreciate you shopping through my links in the description 🤍
@thestrollermom thanks for the feedback! I do plan on using this as my everyday stroller as well. Compactness and lightweight is important because we live in a smaller space in the urban, but mostly drive everywhere and I’m a petite person. Would you still say that the TRVL LX is the better option than the Bugaboo?
how do you feel about using the LX as a daily stroller for suburban car-reliant family with occasional (once every 3-4 months) travel to city with some brick roads or uneven sidewalks or tougher terrain like a park or hike (hike is more like once a year tbh lol)? I like the folding mechanism and the weight but skeptical about how well it will hold up with use, especially if I plan to use it constantly for the next 2-3 years. Baby expected to come in a month so that recline degree is tempting lol I'm debating between the trvl lx and uppababy cruz v2.
I was confused either to get nuna lx or the bugaboo. Main reason was the seat at the lx that not supported toddlers.. i was expecting to use the strollers for next few years and upcoming child… however the bugaboo butterfly seat was not really flat to support newborn….. Any oppinion which one worth the money to buy ? My daughter now was 2 months old 😅
I would do the Nuna because the seatback is more upright and that recline should be perfect for you now. Are you looking for lightweight or true travel (fit in overhead bin)?
So...I think it depends who you ask. A lot experts in the baby world would say a full flat recline is best, BUT they would also say leaving your baby in a car seat for to long is not good either. I think it would be okay. Definitely better 3 months+. If you have the PIPA car seat this stroller is a dream as a travel system.
I just replied with my personal feedback and I hope that's helpful. I am not an expert in this area, so maybe check with your pediatrician if you want an official answer.
Hi! Can you tell me if the LX handles a lot better than the minu v2? Do the big wheels make a big difference? Trying to hard to decide and baby is coming very soon!! Thank you!
@@thestrollermom I have the Nuna but I would buy adapters if needed. I also have the TRVL but thinking maybe the LX or bugaboo? I just love the drive and steering of the Nuna though

Bigger tires on Trvl LX? Sooo better on different terrains vs the Trvl? My kids do Basketball, Softball, & Gymnastics. Really need something that works and doesn’t take up much space
I am not 100%, but I would guess it is because the back panel rolls up for added airflow and it is a safety feature? But even that doesn't completely add up.
I used the Evenflo shyft dual ride with my two month old. It’s a car seat and stroller in one like the Doona and you can gate check it before boarding the flight. It’s great to push around the airport too if you’re looking for a car seat to travel to and from airport.

Bummer that they didn't remove that annoying mesh piece where the head lays. Hopefully with the next update(s), they'll figure it out.
I know :( I am surprised they would increase the recline, but not make the seat back higher.

You have to use a Nuna car seat with Nuna Strollers. I would probably do the Nuna Triv Next as FTM because you can have your child parent face.
