I was even stunned and surprise that BGC is like a combination of cities of US and JAPAN. Such an amazing county, mix of everything and one thing is amazing is that Filipinos are very hospitable people and they can speak English.
There are lots of places in Philippines that is much more beautiful than Manila. Especially the provinces of Philippines were like a fantasy world werein there are lots of mystical look like places.
The Philippines is also a home to one of the biggest malls in the world. You should visit: 1. Mall of Asia 2. SM North Edsa 3. SM Megamall 4. Robinsons Galleria 5. Trinoma ♥️🇵🇭🇵🇭

Yeah, thanks to biased Western mainstream media that show only the chaotic part of Manila. Thus, private sector developers quietly built the clustered modern areas with a bang. No wonder tourists get surprised, and often say "I didn't expect this in Manila." Well, there is still a lot of things to do, especially horizontal infrastructure. But one thing I'm sure of, given the "build, build, build" activities of the current administration , Metro Manila would be recognized as one of the best places to live by 2030 onward. Way to go, PH!

Coz Manila the capital City is different from Metro Manila. BGC, Pasay City (MOA), Paranaque City (Airport), Makati City, are technically in Metro Manila, not Manila, Manila where the capital of the Philippines is. Makati, BGC are like new york in d US. The bad places are in some remote places In Manila. Metro Manila is more comprised of yuppies, young professionals, business executives, businessmen, celebrities, Rich people.

I always stay in Makati/BBC area whenever I visit Manila and I'm always amazed at the variety of eating, shopping and drinking options. I totally agree with you when you felt the vibe of the big city. They have their problems, especially with city traffic and shortage of reliable public transportation but I live in Melbourne and people here complain about the same things-cancelled trains, dishonest taxi drivers, monstrous traffic jams. Keep an open mind and Filipinos will welcome you with open hearts.

Manila looks even better than the last time I was in the city, which was at the time of completion of a newly built British embassy in Upper Mckinley Road, not far from the Venice Grand Canal Mall (which wasn't there at that time), I've mostly been to Cebu recently 2019:)
Where in Cebu? Cebu City is really booming right now. Establishments are beijg built left and right, and a new expressway with a new bridge is almost done! In just few years some parts of Cebu City will have a similar vibe with cities from Metro Manila :)

They're in Makati and it's actually one of the progressive and clean cities (compared to Manila) 😅. Hope you could travel to the provinces in Philippines. They offer so much more too! Great tourist spots and beaches I must say. ❤️

Manila is like any other big city there is great place's, Good places, And bad place's But to live here is like living in a dream! and i love it!
Coz Manila the capital City is different from Metro Manila. BGC, Pasay City (MOA), Paranaque City (Airport), Makati City, are technically in Metro Manila, not Manila, Manila where the capital of the Philippines is. Makati, BGC are like new york in d US. The bad places are in some remote places In Manila. Metro Manila is more comprised of yuppies, young professionals, business executives, businessmen, celebrities, Rich people.
When he said “back in our home!” 🙂 He’s loving Philippines more than other Filipinos do. Philippines has so much to offer and if only everyone becomes responsible for their action, and help one another...in a few years, our country is gonna be on top just like the other nearby Asian top countries. 🙏

I always stay in Makati/BBC area whenever I visit Manila and I'm always amazed at the variety of eating, shopping and drinking options. I totally agree with you when you felt the vibe of the big city. They have their problems, especially with city traffic and shortage of reliable public transportation but I live in Melbourne and people here complain about the same things-cancelled trains, dishonest taxi drivers, monstrous traffic jams. Keep an open mind and Filipinos will welcome you with open hearts.

Its ok to be a tourist in manila but dont stay as an immigrant coz you would make the city of manila look like slums in dhaka (bangladesh). So we basically love your money but stay the hell out of our country when you broke. We ourselves still have massive unemployment issue and thus has to look for jobs in foreign countries everywhere so dont come to steal our jobs here in the philipines.

Manila looks even better than the last time I was in the city, which was at the time of completion of a newly built British embassy in Upper Mckinley Road, not far from the Venice Grand Canal Mall (which wasn't there at that time), I've mostly been to Cebu recently 2019:)

Where in Cebu? Cebu City is really booming right now. Establishments are beijg built left and right, and a new expressway with a new bridge is almost done! In just few years some parts of Cebu City will have a similar vibe with cities from Metro Manila :)
