- Last year I said that Donruss baseball was dead and buried and boy was I wrong. Turns out Panini made the most out of what they had and provided some solid value products full of the same prospects found in Bowman.
At $130-150 a box with two autos including names like Skenes and Elly, this seems like a sneaky value buy in the hobby this week. Let's talk about it!

Truth. I sell base of all the top prospects in a number of sets for at least 1.25 plus shipping sometimes even more especially for skenes or crews. I never throw base away for the hot players cause someone always wants them.

For $150 unlicensed product u should definitely get cpl low number hits or good auto's everytime
Bobby, Yoshida, Elly, Saiya & about 25 others opted out of the MLBPA NIL licensing and have their own NIL License…great product…congrats on that hit!!

I collect Alex Rodriguez. I'll pick up an auto eventually since the 97 or 98 pics look good, but bomb squad inserts are him on the Rangers. The blue parallel would look much better if it was mariners.
It’s important to have variety for different level of collectors.
Personally 100% of the time I’m going with the licensed archives hobby- guaranteed 2 on card autos: last one I got had the 2 guarantees plus a dual for 4 on card autos. I had insane value with that and licensed series 2 when it was $90. Would never be caught wasting hard earned money on blank jersey photos of people who don’t play in the league lol
I opened about 8 boxes of this and had fun. But I hit some cool autos. /25 Jackson Merrill, /25 Dylan Crews and some other decent names. I only hit one /10 non auto card. Nice hit on the 1/1 Waldrep!
I got a Jackie Robinson gold foil /10, nice looking card.
The Marvel's and unleashed are🔥 looking
I got 1 pack at my LCS for $6 and got a Rated Prospect Reggie Crawford Gold /10 🤷🏼♂️

Idk I've bought a few of these donruss packs and idk if I really like them... idk what kind of value a numbered /99 Tim salmon card gets you nowadays. Also don't like that the logos aren't incorporated

You can pull Bobby WItt Jr. cards out of this particular product. I think it's because he is not part of the MLBPA.

Panini got some great designs but the quality and the no logo is what gets me
They got no choice...they lost the license therefore if they put any logos on the card or player they would get sued

It's not completely true that there are no current vets in product as Bobby Witt Jr and a few others are in there. It's more that anyone not a part of MLBPA are not in

I can resell unlicensed donruss singles as easily as licensed product. To be honest these unlicensed products axfislly give you hits of the prospects youre after where as other product your lucky to even get a base.
Ive spent way too much on nba product this year retail and dont even have a base Wemby.
Id take those couple skenes hits over some prospect auto from chrome of a guy that doesnt ever make it to the big show

Unlicenced baseball looks so unbelievably bad.
This product compared to last year is 💯 🗑️. It's Paul Skenes or bust. Cheap & poor design. These boxes retail for $125 not $150 & last year's is not currently $200-250, there only $150. Last year there were literally DOZENS of numbered cards compared to about 10 on this product. Prices on singles have dropped so FAST, LOL. I'm still making money on last year's product as I drop this comment 🤑
