The reality is that fanwars and stan culture has actually been on the decline. Just look at HOT generation of the 90s and you will see the fistfights that occurred between different stans.

Then I remember following the S-TIER of a line up that was Davichi's Don't Say Goodbye, IU's You&I, T-ara's Cry Cry, BEG's Sixth Sense, Orange Caramel's Shanghai Romance, and SNSD's The Boys (ALL PROMOTING AT THE SAME TIME MIND YOU). Plus, I recall SNSD's The Boys playing on the jumbotron in a local mall in America, just to top it all off. 2011 HEIGHT of K-pop's golden era? Definitely a contender.
This is T-ARA's year like dude Roly Poly to Cry Cry to We Were In Love sweeping the Charts around that time, a real threat in the Big 3 Companies group then open the year of 2012 w/ Lovey Dovey, they were unstoppable on this era.
it all started for me with Wonder Girls and their "Nobody" and got hook with KPOP. It was like 2008. 2008-2012 was really a golden era of KPOP specially 2011. T-ARA and SUJU. Probably because they're associated with my childhood. Those time, regardless your a man or not even if you're in Philippines there's no discrimination cause we all vibin and dancing without knowing what exactly the lyrics are saying. It was great, really great.

JYJ's In heaven is still my favorite kpop album ever and Beast's Fiction is still my favorite kpop song. And Roly Poly will never stop being catchy.😍❤ The only song I'd add on this list is Bang YongGuk and Yoseob's I remember, so many people around me were so obsessed with that song🙈🙈🙈

Got into K-pop in 2006, was in an interesting period where KARA & SNSD had not debuted, but 2011 wad the best year. Most of my current Playlist is comprised of 2011 -12 songs. 2NE1 for sure.

The quality of BIGBANG and 2NE1 songs and MV was the reason why I became a kpop fan. Their songs and MV are different from the typical kpop group that time. I can say 2011 was the best year for YG despite some scandal from BIGBANG, they withstand and comeback stronger in 2012.
The year I listened to a lot of K-pop and watched a ton of K-dramas. Several of these were favorites. I no longer listen to K-pop but thought to revisit my youth. I was a very different person at that time. I have been through a whole life since then and live a completely different life. How times change ...

it all started for me with Wonder Girls and their "Nobody" and got hook with KPOP. It was like 2008. 2008-2012 was really a golden era of KPOP specially 2011. T-ARA and SUJU. Probably because they're associated with my childhood. Those time, regardless your a man or not even if you're in Philippines there's no discrimination cause we all vibin and dancing without knowing what exactly the lyrics are saying. It was great, really great.

The quality of BIGBANG and 2NE1 songs and MV was the reason why I became a kpop fan. Their songs and MV are different from the typical kpop group that time. I can say 2011 was the best year for YG despite some scandal from BIGBANG, they withstand and comeback stronger in 2012.
The year I listened to a lot of K-pop and watched a ton of K-dramas. Several of these were favorites. I no longer listen to K-pop but thought to revisit my youth. I was a very different person at that time. I have been through a whole life since then and live a completely different life. How times change ...
