I had a cousin that had this exact car, except it was a coupe. The 327/365 was a rare engine and was available in '64 & '65 only and man, it was a screamer! I drove it often, but babied it as I did not want anything to happen to it. I "got on it" a little bit and just loved the sound of the factory exhaust and how it would "lope" at an idle in first gear. I got a '67 coupe when I returned from Vietnam. It was Goodwood Green with saddle tan interior, but with a 327/300, 4 speed. I have had many cars over the years, but that '67 coupe was hands down my favorite. I wish I still had it!

That’s the look. Blue on blue or blue/white interior with white top

Apart from the miles on the motor and frame, this car is brand new. What a great restoration on this piece of American auto history

I had one just like it but with white interior. It did n ot come with a dual master cylinder from the factory.

Believe it is dual with power brakes so this would be correct for this car.

thanks, neither of my 65 Vettes had power brakes which would explain the single master cylinder on mine.I surely ,miss my first Vette 327/365 4 spd 4:11 from the factory. It was extra fast in my opinion and big block cars were no threat from first gear, 2nd and part of third gear. Stop light to stop light surprised most of the competition but I was never a high speed or reckless driver that exceeded 70-75 MPH That is insane for the street/ x way.The fun was screaming through the gears-all else was just dangerous and foolish.@@thud9797

My comment didn't post but thanks. 327/365s were screamers going through the gears. I've had several Vettes but the first one, the 365 was UTOPIA. No sidepipes is a must-I very much dislike them. Mine had no power steering so a single reservoir.@@thud9797
