    I love this building. Enjoyed going through the stacks researching during undergrad. And the Rare Books building is so captivating.

    Not many people realize this but Toronto has alot of infrastructure that can be used as shelter if we’re attacked. The path can be sealed and theres a main filtering station by queens park and a majority of our city centres have concrete bunker like buildings hidden in plain sight.

    I find brutalism comforting but I was born in 67 and grew up in it's buildings. Thank you for the video.

    Ugh, yeah. Brutalism is a deliberate assault on aesthetics. It's neat and novel and all that until the entire country starts to look like Pripyat eh? 😂
